Matchmaker Monster Romance #4

Dating The Dealing Demon

Rate this book
A matchmaking demon finds his fated mate. Or are they fated hate?

The Demon Prince

I’m the premier matchmaker for all monsters.

Royal, rich, and single-handedly saving the realms from ruin, I could have my pick of women.

But only my fated mate will win me the throne of hell.

So why won’t she be a good little human and fall for me already?

No matter. I’ll win her heart. I always win in the end.

The Unsuspecting Human

In my family of reality TV stars, I’m the one who doesn’t fit in.

The nerd.

The jinx.

The least likely to succeed.

When a demon alphahole locks me in his castle and declares I’m fated to be his future queen, I say liar, liar, wings on fire.

Let the anti-love games begin.

With enemies to lovers, the cutest mongoose turned dragon ever, naughty flaming fun, and a heroine obsessed with mascara and sheet masks, Dating the Dealing Demon is a steamy, slow burn romance in the Matchmaker Monster Romance series. The books promise a happily ever after for each of the four friends who walk into a haunted house, not knowing that monsters are real. Or that they’ve been matched to the monsters inside.

4.4 stars.
I was worried, with how everyone described Val, that I would really despise her. But she really stepped up and I actually loved her. All the smart responses and hell she gives Theo is very entertaining. I love their push and pull. And the soul guardians are such a cute addition in this series. Monty was so cute.

This was a fun read.

Loved the MFC Val. She gave Theo a hard time. Fated Mates be damned.

I loved that Val didn't instantly give into the lusty part of the fated mates bond. She was a strong character, held herself well against a world full of demons, and a hell of a lot of family drama. From both sides.

Theo is all Alphahole. And I am here for it.

He didn't start off in the good graces of his mate. He pretty much wants his mate for one reason and not love. But he quickly learns from that ill thought. Especially when her temper flairs and it's a turn-on for him.

Great story plot, too. Loved how this didn't just gravitate around smut.

Dating the Dealing Demon was such a good read to me. I usually don't start a series our of order, but this book drew my eyes right from the title alone. I was so engrossed in Theo & Val's story that this was a two days read. What's not to love about a dealing demon losing a bet to himself about a mate who he was using to fir his own gain ^_^ I adore the adorable little familiars that came with each match too. Just so cute!!! I'm getting the others three books. I gotta know the other three stories.

THEO AND VAL (THE END OF THE MATCHMAKER MONSTER SERIES)

I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review.

This story meshes parts of the previous three stories and explains how things started and ended with Theo, the dealing demon, and Val, the jinx/cursed person in her family. This book touches on insecurities, family loyalty, and things that make you wonder how a family could act the way they did. I loved every word, especially the stabby intent scenes.

I really liked the protagonist in this one. It was honestly really funny, and I appreciated her gumption. I also loved her attitude. It was odd reading this book and knowing that all of these books were happening simultaneously, but it was a interesting concept. I also liked how we learned more about why this even happened in the first place, at least a lot more world building than in the first book when I really felt there was nothing to go off of and felt so confused, just going with a suspension of disbelief as to why we were there.

He is a demon prince who matchmakers for everyone around him. He fated mate is not who they thought they would be. She is human and it seems she hates him. He needs her to be his to get what he wants in hell. Will she be with him? Will he win her over? How will he do it? See how it will all go

Adorable novella. Good ending to the series. This is the 4th book in the Matchmaker Monster Romance series by Luna Joya.

Good character development, excellent suspense, high heat, not too much kink (kinda wish there was more), but the storyline was really good & villains weren’t who I originally suspected!

Worth the time & money! Will read again in a few years!

I received this ARC in exchange for my most honest review. Personally I found this book too cheesy for me. After 3 chapters I was already bored and done. The cover and the book's description was inviting but the book overall was not for me.

This fun read is a PNR/UF romance with drama, secrets, chemistry, and surprises. The MCs are defined, likable, and engaging. I enjoyed reading this entertaining book. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.

it’s ok🤷‍♀️.

The series is good don’t get me wrong, but the conclusion too the family drama in this last one for example, satisfactory ending for me that was all that shit she had to go through.

I hate that this was the end of the series, but this was the best way to end this series!

Theo is a bit of an alpha-hole and Val does not back down! there's drama, mystery, betrayal, and of course spice.

This one tied up the series nicely, I think. I enjoyed the plot and the way it finally linked all of the stories together properly. I liked the characters and was surprised by the reveal of the bad guy.

A lot of times the build up for a particular book or couples story end up failing to deliver. Well this book delivered all that was hinted at in the previous few books and more!

it was gooda few spots lost my interest and I feel some spots could be cleaned up. I feel like there was a bit missing in areas for what happens for the plot but it was fairly good overall.

It took me entirely too long between book 3 in this series and this book, but I’m so happy I finally made the time to read the final book. Val’s story has been long hinted at throughout the other 3 books and I think the author did a fabulous job in tying them all together. This was a great series and I loved the spice, banter, and enemies-to-lovers vibes!
