This is a serious tome, for serious people. Brian Komar is the premier resource for answers on the Windows CA, and this book is the Bible: there are simply no other books that cover so many details of a Windows-based PKI implementation. Read it with highlighter in hand, because you'll need to make notes!

Komar only updates the book every few years--and sadly now this version is already a bit outdated, since Microsoft made many more changes to their CA with the release of Windows Server 2008 R2. But armed with this book and a few other more current resources (such as blog entries from the Microsoft PKI and Active Directory Services Team) you can be well-prepared to build and manage your PKI.

This book is so hardcore. In most parts of the book I couldn't follow all the details. It has it all. I think I don't have the right knowledge background to follow this kind of book. Irregardless I found answers to questions I had for years.
