Sometimes it’s more than love that sparkles.

Omega unicorn shifter Brett wants a new start, one where he can be Brett and not “that unicorn.” He appreciates that his foster parents took him into their wolf pack and loves them very much. But growing up a herbivore in a pack of predators sucks. He’s ready for a change, and when a job opens up at a small community hospital hundreds of miles away, he jumps at the opportunity.

Alpha snow leopard Anders loves being part of Snowford’s sizzle. Snow leopards might not traditionally be pack animals, but his beast prefers it, and so does he. Really he does. But lately, seeing his friends with their true mates has him longing for more—for everything. Maybe the sizzle isn’t where he belongs after all.

When Anders drives a co-worker to the hospital for an appointment, he scents him immediately—his mate. But when he follows the scent, it ends in the parking lot. His mate is gone, and he’s left with only the mating pull. His heart is already beginning to ache.

An Omega for Anders is the fourth book in the Council of the Snow Leopards shifter series by the popular co-writing team of Colbie Dunbar and Lorelei M Hart. It’s a sweet with knotty heat M/M mpreg shifter romance featuring an alpha snow leopard longing for his mate, a unicorn looking for acceptance, a mating pull scented too soon, shifters whose beasts were on the verge of extinction, new beginnings, forbidden love, glitter, true love, fated mates, and of course, an adorable baby. If you love your shifters hawt, your omegas strong, and your mpreg with heart, download your copy of An Omega for Anders today.

This one felt so underwhelming it was actually sad. Part of it is because there's barely any conflict, and what little there is is solved too fast and too easy and with very little stress. So we're left with little but cutesy homey snippets that have to be left unresolved or on the air to keep up the story until we get to the expected and inevitable "pregnant and baby" part, which follows the same easily solved formula of the rest of the book.
I was actually excited for this one but I'm feeling pretty disappointed

An Omega For Anders is the 4th book in the Council of the Snow Leopards series. This book can be read as a standalone but I feel it's better reading the series in order, so why not enjoy the whole series. This is Brett an omega unicorn shifter and Anders an alpha snow leopards story. I love the way Colbie and Lorelei collaborate on their stories and this book was no exception. I love the characters and just fell in love with them. This book has everything I want in a good omegaverse mpreg story. I would definitely recommend this book and series.

This is book four of the Council of the Snow Leopards series and Alpha snow leopard Anders is beginning to feel like the one left out, as it seems everyone else, he knows in the Snowford’s sizzle is paired up and found their fated mates. In this town the usual solitary shifters have come together and formed a sizzle, a community where they can all belong. He wants to find his own fated mate but has never felt any pull to any of the others in the sizzle or town. He wonders whether he will need to leave town and go elsewhere. His work as a general contractor or handyman, could be done anywhere. He was out with his friends, when they all heard a scream and saw a co-worker running out with one of her sons, who was injured and he ended up driving them to the hospital, as the child was too young to have gone through his first shift, so couldn’t heal themselves. He is amazed to smell his mate as soon as he arrives at the emergency department but can’t really desert his friend and her child for long. He races all over the hospital following the scent of his mate, only to lose it out in the car park. He got loads of strange looks as he did it and was nearly thrown out!

His mate is Omega unicorn shifter Brett, who lost his parents as a child and was taken in by wolf shifter foster parents but was never made to feel part of the pack, just known as ‘that unicorn’. His foster parents tried their best, but couldn’t go against the pack themselves, so he left as soon as he could and became a nurse, able to work anywhere. He has just moved to work at this smaller hospital and was given a tour of the hospital before his first shift, so his scent was everywhere! Arriving early for his first shift, he also scents his mate and tries to locate him, only to also fail. Anders only hope is that his mate is new to town and actually works in the hospital and that he can finally trace him somehow. It drives him mad and days later he is sleep deprived and still hasn’t found any hint of him anywhere. His friends push him to come out and eat, and to meet someone who was also searching for their mate, only for him to suddenly scent his mate who is talking to the manager and ends up tongue tied when he tries to talk to him! Their relationship might have taken a while to get started, but it soon picks up a pace as he eventually moves into Anders home, which Anders was changing to make it theirs and they end up with a fur baby together. Neither is quite ready for a real baby, but that will arrive unexpectedly, and they can then prepare for the new addition to their family. Brett is finally in a place where he feels he belongs and has been accepted by the other shifters in town, as well as coming across someone exactly like him and they are about to all become best of friends!

Always good fun to see how they manage to find their fated mates and achieve their HEA with a cute baby shifter to complete their family. A sweet tale with a hint of steam and two adorable characters searching or the one who would complete them! Nice to see Brett finally find a place he belongs and can feel part of, not that his foster parents aren’t loved by him. Always nice to see each different pairing and how they meet, mate and create their family together. Easy to read and always a HEA ending. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout, and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.

'But the ache in my chest, which wasn’t from heart failure, needed an antidote. And that was finding my one true love.'

I really enjoyed this book. It was a fun romance and I liked that it featured rarer animals than usual- a unicorn and a snow leopard. I loved both omega Brett and alpha Anders. I was a bit sad for Brett- having been orphaned and although taken in by wolf shifters who were his foster parents, he could never be officially adopted and would never be accepted as pack. He was the only herbivore in a community of carnivores, and he didn't even have any friends that would have made him second guess his decision to accept a job at a hospital far away. I can't even image feeling that kind of isolation and outcast. I was happy that he felt more seen, welcomed, and acknowledged at his new home and job. Anders was lonely and while everyone around him was seemingly finding their mates, he wasn't having much luck meeting anyone. I loved that they both picked up each other's scents at the hospital, knew it was their mate, but missed each other- as does so often happen.

'He was here.
There was no denying his scent. Even my unicorn was prancing around, and he was a grumpy Gus if I ever met one.'

It made it relatable and I couldn't wait until that meeting happened. Anders did make a mess of himself and got caught by two different security guards. I can image the humans around there thinking him crazy the way he was running around trying to catch Brett's scent. Brett's searching also attracted some attention, but he sensibly gave up- without being chased by security like Anders lol

It was a good third of the book before they finally met. I loved that it was the alpha getting all tongue-tied and unable to speak. They were really cute together. 4 stars.

Finding His Mate . . .

Omega unicorn shifter Brett took a job as a nurse at the community hospital, not realizing that a smaller hospital like this means everyone knows everyone else, not like the huge place he came from where you only knew people you worked with in your own department! Although it had been sort of nice to take your break and relax where nobody around knew who you were, maybe now he would have friends instead of being so isolated. Even in his home life, he was the only unicorn living in the wolf pack, a herbivore among a pack of predators, and never felt like he belonged. People here at the hospital were friendly, smiling, and introducing themselves to the newcomer. He did feel welcomed.

Anders is a snow leopard shifter who is feeling left out since all his buddies are finding their mates. Why can’t he find his? When Isadora, the mate of the previous Alpha, ran outside holding one of her young sons whose hand was bleeding badly, she asked for someone to drive her to the hospital. Shifters normally could shift to their animal and heal, but Edgar was too young to do that yet. Anders volunteers to drive since his truck was nearby. As he drops them off and drives around looking for a parking space, he can’t believe that he just scented his fated mate!! The race is on as he and Brett keep missing each other while they search and the frustration mounts. Will they eventually find their cherished mate? How will the snow leopard and the unicorn react if they do catch up with each other? Will there be a HEA waiting for them, that sense of totally and at last belonging to the one who loves you? Or will they give up the chase in defeat?

This was a really sweet story about Brett, who is a unicorn shifter and was raised in a Wolfpack having been adopted by two wolf shifters, but he had always been treated like he wasn’t part of the pack, and didn’t belong to the pack. he got a job as a nurse at a hospital in a town that was full of snow leopard shifters. On his first day at work, he smelled his fated mate, but could not find him. Anders is a snow leopard shifter and an alpha, and when he was taking his friend and her baby to the hospital, he smelled his fated mate, and promptly started looking everywhere around the Hospital for him, but he was not to be found. It wasn’t until weeks later that they met up in the restaurant in town and the rest they say is history. These two characters made me laugh and when they realise that they were fated, their antics were hilarious. they went smoothly and eventually they had a baby boy, and by chance, Brett discovered another unicorn shifter had just moved to town. Both went on to have their happily ever after.

I was given an advanced copy of this book to read and I am reviewing with my honest and fair opinion.

"My mate was out there, and I was going to find him"

This is the 4th and final book in the Council of the Snow Leopards by Colbie Dunbar and the writing team of Lorelei M. Hart. This group of authors always make my day, their books are always sweet and heartwarming with a bit of heat thrown in. I love finding their paranormal romances on Booksprout.

I'm sad to see this series ending but I'm happy that Anders found his mate!!! We get to see Waylon & Daxon (book 1), Jonah & Kyle (book 2), and Dylan & Truman (book 3) again which is a bonus in my book. We meet a new couple at the end of this book and I'm wondering if there's going to be some kind of spin-off series. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Anders is feeling sorry for himself, wondering when he'll ever find his fated mate... I bet he never imagines he will have a mythical unicorn as a mate. Anders is considering relocating to a different town, hoping to find his mate, when he accidentally stumbles on the scent of his mate. His mate also finds his scent and the race is on to find each other. It's a pretty funny meet cute.

This is the fourth book in the Council Of the Snow Leopards series. This is a sweet, no angst book. A perfect book for an afternoon read. This is the story of Brett and Anders. Brett is a Unicorn who has just moved to town for his job at the hospital. He is happy to start anew. Due to the unexpected death of his parents, he was raised with foster parents in a wolf pack. He is tired of being an outsider in his own home. Anders is an alpha snow leopard who is hoping for his fated mate to come his way. All of his friends have found their mates and he wants to live their happiness. This is their story. The two almost meet at the hospital which sets off a hunt and seek race between the two. Each wanting to find their mate. I was happy that Anders was open to whatever species his mate turned out to be. I enjoyed this book. It is well written and easy to read. I was very happy when Sirius and Brett first meet. It is always nice not to be alone.

Omega unicorn shifter Brett always felt like an outsider in the wolf pack he was raised in in the city and moves to the small town of Oakheart for a fresh start. He doesn’t expect to catch the scent of his fated mate, with whom he engages in a scent trail of missed meetings. Brett and his mate, alpha snow leopard shifter Anders, finally find one another and instantly connect with one another. Brett and Anders come together, and they quickly realize they’ve found something special. But finding love is just the beginning, and their relationship develops with a mix of passion, humor, and tenderness. From the challenges of blending their lives, adopting a mischievous puppy, and navigating pregnancy, Brett and Anders must learn to trust each other and build a life together. Loved how Brett and Anders found all the things they needed - a mate, a baby, a pup, and for Brett, another shifter life him. Sweet and steamy shifter romance, exploring love, connection, family, community, and belonging.

Oh my sweet Lord, Brett and Anders story was entertaining with lots of unexpected thrown in the mix, awkward moments that are extremely funny, plus the blind ride of near and miss from the beginning that will lighten up your heart.
I was excited for Anders to finally get his mate and Brett completes him so beautifully.
They are so sweet together and I totally adored their pet and the issued shenanigans, plus all the events and adventure that resulted in their growing family.
There's a couple of surprises that will warm your heart, will make you emotional, but also happy for the outcome.
I really loved the story and I'm looking forward to see what happens next.

Loving just the way I am. Unicorn Brett always felt a bit outside of his fostered wolf pack. He was not invited to join, but he was tolerated. Anders, was realizing he was the only one in his friend group, not mated. And he decided he was ready for his mate. When Brett moved to town and under initially sad circumstances, he and Anders smelled each other in the hospital, their first awareness of each other was totally hysterical. I couldn't stop laughing. Their journey is fun and satisfying. They make a good couple and the friend group is totally supportive. Good story, nice flow. Chocci is a pip. Nicely done. I received and ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was a super sweet but slightly sad book. Brett there's a unicorn shifter that was raised by wolves because his parents were killed by a vehicle. He never fit in even though his adopted parents loved him. So he moved away to start over. Anders is an alpha snow leopard that is tired of being the only person in his friend circle without a mate. Well helping one friend get their child to the hospital he sense his mate. What follows is a journey to find each other.

The Wendy Wing, stewed drain water coffee, Pixie, Choccie, watermelon juice, Cocoa

The focus is on food. Just joking! Like other Lorelei M. Hart and Colbie Dunbar books, it's cute, swoony, and enjoyable. This is about inter-species shifter mates seeking each other. There's only the protagonists, wonderful ancillary characters, and no angst. It's a quick but satisfying book. I recommend this sweet story.

This is another sweet story in this series. Brett and Anders are both searching for their mate but keep missing each other at first. Once they find each other, their story just gets sweeter and sweeter. I enjoyed reading this one a lot.

Brett and Anders are both so lonely. Brett has been on the outside of things his whole life. Starting over has him hoping for better. I loved that both of them circled around town determined to find the other. Anders just wants his mate to be happy. I loved the ending.
