This was a great, little compact Catholic prayer book. This book was a quality made reprint from the 1959 original. It was made with rounded corners, sewn binding, gilded page edges, and a marking ribbon. This pocket-size prayer book had many traditional Catholic prayers, but also included for the traditional Latin Tridentine Rite: the Ordinary Mass texts (Latin/English), Sunday Epistles & Gospels (English only), Propers for the Requiem & Nuptial Mass (Latin/English), Sunday Vespers, sacramental rites such as Baptism & Extreme Unction (in English), Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, Stations of the Cross, and more.





My favorite section was the 78-page chapter Meditations and Reflections. This was little Bible verses dealing with various topics: faith is obscure and necessary, hope in God alone, charity, brotherly love, joy, works of mercy, prudence, justice, patience, and more.

Overall this was a really nice traditional Catholic prayer book that you could take anywhere with you. I would recommmend it to collectors of religious prayer books for keepsake or daily use. Thanks!

An essential book for ("trad") Catholics. This has replaced my daily missal too, as it has the ordinary, readings, and collects for the year, which I have found is fine for me, along with numerous devotional prays. Excellent

So long as we are talking about the pre Vatican II edition, this is one of the best Catholic prayer books out there! In fact the best and most comprehensive Christian prayer book for laypeople out there in my opinion. Traditional.
