Krystyna Allyn lives in somewhere USA with her amazingly awesome husband. Though she works full time, blogs and reads like a maniac, she still manages to find time to write all of her crazy stories. Her hobbies include baking, skydiving, karaoke and general mischief.
Romancing the book nerd, by Krystyna Allyn was the fun, sexy palate cleanser I needed after reading a bunch of heavy lately. This little book had it all. Humor, heat, and just about every romance trope you can image. So if you’re looking for a good quick read, give this one a shot!
I liked it. But It wasn’t as funny as the first book in the series and the time jumps I didn’t love. It made it feel disjointed. Also it was a little weird that she went from like 5 friends to 1 and she wasn’t even 1 of the original 5. But I’m hoping she gives us Dylan and Libby’s book.
This little book was exactly what I needed for my day off. Filled to the brim with signature Krystyna Allyn banter and just enough steam to satisfy any romance reader, Romancing the Book Nerd was absolute RomCom perfection. Coco might have stolen the show but how could she not with her one liners, hilarious requests for DNA and accidentally snitching on Aunt Libby’s babysitting failures. I cannot recommend this entire series enough. If anything this left me wanting Dylan and Libby’s book NOW.
This was a short, fun read! Mille is such a fun FMC. She’s smart and witty. When the story starts out, she’s an aspiring author. The way she garnered inspiration for future stories resounded so much. Dean is smart, funny, and just plain swoon-worthy. Honestly, little Coco stole the show. I need a bonus scene at some point letting us know if she ever saw the DNA.
Great cast of characters. The story has great banter. There are lots of bookish references. It was also great to see Latina representation. This was my first book by this author but it won’t be my last.
The story had potential however for a 32 year old woman Melle was very immature. Her reasoning for not telling « Dylan » about his daughter was selfish. Yes, he blanked her the day after but it’s hardly a reason to keep a baby from someone. 6 years later again she showed her selfishness, even talking her cues from a 5 year old. Ridiculous. I didn’t like that she didn’t apologize to Dean for not leaving her number in the morning and keeping his daughter from him for something frivolous. At least Dean took responsibility.
I enjoy this book , Coco is so funny that child is a 80 year old in a 6 year old body. I wanted the book to be longer but I am looking forward to Millie best friend book with the real Dylan to see why those two has so much bad blood between them, Libby is so much fun with her love of Anime. I look forward to that book. With that said read the book it is quick but fun. As always happy reading😊😉, the DNA is all Coco .
This is the 2nd book I've read by this author and I really like her writings. This was a short read, but packed with cuteness and love. Dean and Millie fell for each other their first night, but due to circumstances and misunderstanding they weren't together. Coco comes along and changes everything and brings everyone together. Such a cute read.
This was a good book, and the characters were very entertaining. The chemistry between Dean and Millie was smoking hot 🔥! The storyline was fun and just a tab of drama. I look forward to reading Ms. Allyn's next book. I recommend this book to my fellow romance readers you will not be disappointed.
KU recommended this to me and I’m so glad it did! I loved this super sweet story! Coco is a T total mess and I love her. She maybe be young and tiny but she wants her receipts!! Millie and Dean kept me blushing, laughing and kicking my feet. Libby is a girls girl and I love her and can’t wait for her and Dylan’s story! Dual POV Banter Spice And a HEA
