I’ll try to remember to come back and edit this review after my trip in June, but I feel like this book has done it’s job of giving me a detailed overview of key areas and sites in Tokyo. More than enough info for a week without overwhelming me with choice. I like the advent of QR codes to link to things like museums for pre-booking tickets.

As paid ‘influencers’ have come to dominate the travel talk on line and too many people leave fake reviews, it’s nice to go back to a book I’ve bought, written by writers paid by the publisher, and a publisher who has been in this business for a long time, at that.

Picked this up for some Tokyo specific info for a trip to Japan in 2017. It's a nice small size and had a lot of helpful information.

Small but mighty! Worth purchasing for the detailed guided walking tours (every suggested stop a treat!) and genius recommendations for tiny, hidden places to drink craft beer. Superior to other travel guides in every way. Nothing else comes close. Extremely highly recommended!

Borrowed this from a friend without realising it’s a few years old. Got a couple of good tips but luckily I also have some more recent books to refer to
