Book 10 reviews previous vocabulary and introduces some other basic words readers have not encountered in this series yet. This book has longer blocks of Thai text to prepare you for the majority-Thai-script level 2 books.
Practice reading Thai the fun way! Each short story uses English language as the base with up to 10 new Thai words (written in Thai script) mixed in to make the learning process easy. As you move through this series, progressively more words will be written in Thai until you find yourself reading full sentences and paragraphs with little or no English. Because Thai does not use spaces between words, we’ve used different colors to indicate which letters should be grouped together when reading.
We recommend using these as read aloud books for your kids (parenting + language learning = a great time!), or as review after Thai classes. They are appropriate for all ages, with colorful pictures for entertainment. Be warned, these books are goofy, because language learning shouldn't be so serious all the time!
This book is not intended to be used as a standalone Thai language or Thai reading guide. It’s meant to be used after learning the sounds of each consonant and vowel with a qualified Thai teacher. We do not cover pronunciation or basic reading instruction, we only provide a fun way to practice without being overwhelmed by pages of Thai text in Thai language learning books (always about the same boring characters who just moved to Bangkok).
Make sure you read these books in order, as the vocabulary is progressive. Words from the previous books will be included in the next books.
