The Mathematics of the Mind
To still the mind, in a world where we must constantly endure the bombardment of discordance, is to know real power. The man or woman who fully possess their mind is a person who consistently performs at a peak level, no matter the prevailing circumstances.
In this hour, to make the conscious decision to be in a state of serenity is radical. The kind of radical that produces life altering and life lifting circumstances. To do this, we must understand that we will never be better than our thought cycle. It is a mathematical impossibility, for what we think we do indeed become. Thoughts are things—they have weight and hold space.
The mind, the ability to think your own thoughts, is a sacred and profane place. A place that should be vigilantly guarded. To place a guard, a sentinel, on our minds is to filter every thought, suggestion or idea that arises, no matter who it is from or where. The Mathematics of the Mind , the newest book from Bro. Nuri Muhammad, introduces the reader to three forms of sight and the two minds we each have. It is an awe-inspiring examination of the very process of thinking, from a righteous mind set. The Mathematics of the Mind explains how to properly calculate our outcomes based on the mathematical arc of each thought we think.
In Genesis 28:12 we read, “And he (Jacob) dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.” Through reading The Mathematics of the Mind we come to see that one interpretation of this profound scripture could be that the “the angels of God ascending and descending” a ladder that reaches to heaven describes the mind and the cycles of thought. Meaning, the more our mind is recalibrated around that which is truth and righteousness, we can evolve through the vicissitudes of life faster. Though we go down from the difficulties we face in life, we are always aware, that with anything of value, as the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan teaches us, there is a “difficulty factor.”
The difficulty factor is a factor of mathematical quality and quantity that must be resolved successfully before we can proceed to the completion of the equation—which is the attainment of the goals for which we are striving. The real test of a man or a woman is how long it takes to progress from a thought to an idea, to action, to the successful manifestation of what was once just a thought. It is the resolution of this equation—thought to manifestation, that Bro. Nuri Muhammad seeks to offer tested solutions through The Mathematics of the Mind . Solutions that are truly attainable and actionable by anyone, no matter where we are in life. For it is true, we are always one thought away from our best and most righteous life and self.
The Saviour, Master Fard Muhammad (To Whom All Holy Praise is Due Forever) instructed the students of Muhammad University of Islam (which is all of us if we but understood),
“Let no one excel you in anything.”

The Most Gracious, the Ever Merciful
1. Say, ‘I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind,
2. ‘The Sovereign, the Controller of all affairs of mankind,
3. ‘The God of mankind,
4. ‘(That He may protect me) from the evil (of the whisperings) of the whisperer, the sneaking one.
5. ‘Who whispers evil suggestions into the hearts of mankind,
6. ‘From among the jinn (-fiery natured, haughty) and the (ordinary) people.

This book was very insightful and really explained clearly and practically how the mind truly works and connects it so beautifully with scripture. Would've been a five star if it wasn't for all the grammatical errors.

I finished this book fairly quickly because it’s such a great read. It focuses on the power of the mind, positive thinking and self discipline. It makes a lot of connections to the Bible and the Qu’ran which I appreciated. This is surely a great and uplifting read! Definitely recommend!

Was able to meet the man himself at Saviours’ Day last year and even got my copy signed. It’s easy to digest and so many powerful truths! Definitely one (if not) his best work yet! Praise be to Allah 🤲🏾
