ISLANDS OF DREAM: The Temples of Malta - Hidden Mysteries Revealed

Rate this book
Islands of Dream delves into the magic and secrets of the Maltese Prehistoric Temples. These mysterious structures sat there in isolated silence for many centuries. Finally the secrets of these incredible prehistoric sites of Malta and Gozo are uncovered.

+ Who actually built these majestic structures?
+ Why have many sites on these islands?
+ What was their real purpose?

This novelogue recounts the meeting of a local couple with a foreigner in a series of fictitious dialogues and exchange of views about the prehistoric sites. Many of the ideas discussed question current theories about the Temples. Some of these will be the subject of disbelief, arguments and disagreement by many, but they will resonate with many others. This may be the first book that looks at these sites from a holistic perspective.

The book is intended to challenge conventional outlook and fixed theories about the Temples. Fortunately, today many people are asking for the truth to be known, ready to rediscover old beliefs, explore new territories, accept new thoughts and welcome new realities.

These unique temples, with their encoded secrets, might have the key to humanity's ancient past.

Comments/Reviews on the novel: Islands of Dream:

Simon Peter Fuller - UK: I much enjoyed the book - very expanding indeed! Had no idea of the island's very ancient purposes and functions - fascinating! Thanks Francis - yes, it's time to get ancient knowledge about Malta into the public domain - like Ireland, the island got swamped in religion, but there are far more relevant and exciting realities to be explored (as you have done). Might be a bit of a challenge for older Maltese, but let's hope the youngsters take it on.
Daniela - Malta/Poland: Started reading the book….and it’s something else! Well done!
Adrienne Metcalf - USA: Excellent book! It looks wonderful, beautifully presented, chock full with all the info you gave. The cover is lovely - I can hardly wait to read it. Lovely interview on the newspaper and exciting! Much ado in the world now and Malta is central….. I'm almost finished with your book and finding some of the awareness it offers percolating to offer exciting new possibilities. Very good to realize there's more to learn.
Vanda Osmon - USA: I received you book and read it last night. I love It. Congratulations of writing such a wonderful book. I know it will be a huge success. I am so proud and happy for you. I love the front cover.
Rainer and Regina - Austria: Thank you for writing the book. We are very proud of you. We are sure your book will be a big success.
Elspeth Kerr. Cyprus/Scotland: Well done you. It’s fantastic.
Chris Attard - Malta: Hope the book sells well not only for your own energy exchange but also to help spread deeper awareness about the temples.
Joseph G. Woods (Lateral Thinking Centre) – Malta: I have managed over the week-end to read your book…I am fascinated by the various provocations you presented. You have managed to present a very complex subject within a very simple context using language that anyone can understand…The power of lateral thinking is provocation and I believe that your novelogue will get people to look at the past from different perspectives. (The world belongs to those people who are in love with their dreams. Eleanor Roosevelt)
Doris - Malta: Really interesting book…narrative style reminds me of Coelho. Wishing you more inspirational dreams to carry on writing!
Silvana Van Engelen – Holland/Malta: I have just started reading you book and I am really enjoying it!! I am looking forward to learn more.... I have enjoyed reading Islands of Dream so much and it has opened me to explore more, and eager to start book 2. Congratulations Francis I am thrilled for you and wish you the best with your second novel and thank you so much for everything and keep informing us!!! Thank you very much Francis, now I totally see these temples with a different eye while reading your book!!! ……"I have read this book and it is one great read, if as a Maltese you have our ancient history to heart you need to read this, and internationally nonetheless...it can only awaken your mind and spirit to see these temples in a different way not just stones, it is a novel and written so beautifully it takes you back and makes you ask more questions.... Thank you Francis Xavier Aloisio and looking forward for the second edition..."
Sladana - Serbia/Canada: I think the book will do great, I am actually sure. Your book has a specific energy or vibration associated with it. The energy is right on the top of the other info captured between the covers. The info between the covers is partly channelled, partly fictional, partly historical, as far as I can feel. That again creates a certain energy that would draw readers to it. Without a lot of promotion, the book will promote itself.
Grethe Hooper Hansen – UK: I loved your book, the way it gently went deeper and deeper into the subject. I hope you will put it on the web.
Ruth Mallia - Malta: Your book found me and not the other way round..!! Really!! THANK YOU once more for your awakening GIFT.
Robyn Adams – Australia: Your book is so full of amazing information - where did it come from? From the bibliography it seems you used many sources, but you have lived it and written it as an awakening experience…I have just finished your book - well done - the last chapter resonates with my philosophy.
Maximo Garzia – USA: I finished reading your book the day before yesterday. It was quite a read. You have done excellent work. There is so much that you have incorporated into your book. The way that it conveys high spiritual and energetic principles with such a rich description of our antediluvian past appeals to all who thirst for more of the times before the Common Era.
Christine Auriela – USA: An enlightened work of art! Great Book with life changing information for so many! And now a new edition! I can't wait till the next book comes out: The Age of Magic and Wisdom!
Malta Online Bookshop: Indeed it is a great publication. I encourage all those who read the book to share their comments.
Shirley Cauchi – Malta: Prosit! It's a very good book.....reading it to our kids!
Chris May – Ireland: I’ve enjoyed reading your book which was filled with insights and information and in a style that made it easy to absorb, so much so that I feel I have an intimate communication with the Maltese Temples; I found it hard to put down and return again to it to look up certain facts or references.
Paivi Kaskimaki – Finland: I have now read the whole book and it was really interesting and fascinating. It is just magnificent how you are summing up so much ‘mysterious’ information and details from different cultures among the Maltese temples and their incredible heritage!
Richard Miles – UK: I have now read about two thirds of your book and am enjoying it very much. It adds to the insights that you shared with us in a wonderful way.
Suzanne Hamilton – Canada: I didn't know why I came to Malta until I started investigating the history and then visited some of the sites and finally found your book at the Hypogeum. I bought your book at the Hypogeum yesterday and I have been unable to put it down. I am almost finished your book and thrilled with every page I turn. I am convinced more than ever that the star seed theory and the channelled information from the Galactic Council is on the money. I could never swallow the idea that the cave man as we knew him/her could have built any of the pre-historic mega-buildings that we treasure today or that the Darwinian idea held all the truth. Now I am on a path that I'm sure I can follow with passion and commitment.
John Bishop – USA: I just completed reading Islands of Dream. It is outstanding. I am really into esoteric things; the book totally resonated with me. I really liked your novelogue writing style, how you clearly communicated what is going on in our World today and how Mother Earth is responding, the enormous amount of history about Malta, especially its Spiritual Significance, and the holistic perspective of Islands of Dream. There are a large number of things I could quote from Islands of Dream that really resonates with me.
Frida Siton – UK: I bought your book Islands of Dream and you signed it for me. I just had to write and tell you how much I enjoyed reading your book. When I saw the image in this book (at the start of chapter II 'Core Race') with the word Lemuria it set my energies pinging…I am still not sure why this word summons up such strong feelings within me...For me, Lemuria was more about the Heart and Love energy and Atlantis was more about the Head and Ego.
Amanaa Rendall – USA: Thank you for sharing your gifts and talents with the world.
Chrystyanna & Angelique – Canada: We have read the book from cover to cover during the 3 weeks we were in Malta. We are impressed with the information. We have studied well and we were so excited by the information you are giving out. We have been studying this information for years and we are delighted someone else is so well on the same path!
Marlyne Hodgson - Scotland/Malta: The book had a profound effect the book has on me! I do love the book; it’s fairly crackles with synchronicity! You and the Stones…do speak to me!
Patricia Low – UK: The book is brilliant and deserves wider recognition and acclaim.
Jennifer Flenley – Peru/UK: Thank you for your book. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and I have now passed it on to a close spiritual friend who will read it and then return your lovely book to me.
Juli Buttigieg - UK/Gozo: I have read your book 'Islands of Dream', and I was present at the talk you gave at the exhibition hall in Gozo last Friday. I would like to say that I'm so relieved to know there is someone like you that can stand up and publish their 'feelings' about what there is, and was, here in this very special place. I first came to Gozo almost twenty three years ago. The impressions about Malta and Gozo that I have received are so similar to those of your own, for example, that this was, and still is, some kind of 'power house'. In fact 'power house' is the exact term that always come to my mind. I kind Malta and Gozo, as a huge 'power generating crystal,' in another way I see it as a 'magnet' that attracts certain people from all over the world...and the feeling is 'Magic'.
Dorine van Heerdt – Holland/Gozo: Although I am still in the middle of reading Islands of Dreams I would like to make you a compliment on your boldness and courage to publish your insights in the Maltese islands. The book is selling well, so your information is spreading. This is truly good news! Much of the esoteric information that you or rather Ranfis are giving, is not new to me. These things however could never be said aloud.
Janet Stretton – UK/Gozo: I very much enjoyed your talk and I enjoyed reading your book. I found the book fascinating and although at first some of your ideas were difficult to absorb, but after thinking about it, they started to make sense. I think that Maltese people should read your book as it will make them appreciate their past heritage and be proud of it. I was drawn to come to this Island not knowing why. I do wish that the Maltese Government would take your advice and do more research and promote these Temples; they are a world heritage. I admire you for having the guts to say what you believed in. Keep it up!
Ebba Erolin – Finland/Malta: Now I've been reading your book and bought it as a present to my new friends here in Malta. We all love your messages. I read the book with one glance on the first time, and it opened up to me immediately. There are all the things I "know". Thank You! It is really in the way you present things to the reader that the human mind catches the idea. Well, and when the time is ripe for an individual reader as well. My friend the astrologer Yasmin Boland LOVES your book, and praises it daily in Facebook…So there are definitely eager and happy people listening to the messages out there, which you so wonderfully have captured and organized in your book.
Yasmin Boland – Australia: Great book! It is AMAZING. Best thing I have read in several months.
Ronald Camilleri – Malta: I read your book. We are so grateful to have people like you who dedicate their time in research about our country and pass the knowledge to us. Thank you Francis and keep up the good work.
Heidi Stadler – Germany/France: Congratulations for your book. You did a lot of research and it`s also well done. You must have had great insights to make such a kind of book. I am amazed about it. Congratulation! When I saw the picture of Ashtartara on the cover I got the goosebumps.
Christine Page – UK/USA: Island of Dreams is an inspirational book with messages so important at this time. Bless you for your life and your work.
Claudine Ancilleri - Malta: Such a good book. Well done!
Zoe Dobson – Australia: A friend of mine loaned me your brilliant, wonderful and very special story, Islands of Dream, which I have just finished. Your book’s energy is to me authentic and also so generous and human.
Foppe Seekles - Holland/Malta: Some weeks ago I bought your book. I have to admit, I have to reread it sometimes and let it come into place, let it land. Your book gives me a feeling of coming home. I feel sometimes flabbergasted because I experienced something alike in my life to what I was reading in the novel. Many elements I experienced in my life I read in your book.
Joan Vella Gambin – Malta: Last night I downloaded the free excerpt from your book from Booklocker and I must say it has cast a spell on me. From the start it is gripping and gets right into the story. I love it! And just when it starts to get really juicy... the 20 pages were over. So, first thing this morning I purchased the book (was happy it was available at Amazon UK) and am eagerly awaiting its arrival. All the best...Now, I am getting closer to the end of Islands of Dream. It's like I don't want it to end. I've had pauses from reading it along the way as it's been very deep for me. I've had many moments of goosebumps and tears caused by a certain inner knowing. And as freaky as it sounds, a feeling of having 'been there.' I have so much gratitude in my heart for you having written it. I know for sure that when I start reading it for the second time it will be with a new perception.
Ruth Housman – USA: I got the book 'Unzipped' and it's on my I PAD. I will have a lot of 'scrolling' to do. I am savouring your book. I am reading it slowly, on line. It's actually the first book I have ever read this way. I think there are profound metaphors in all that is written here so far and this is very beautiful. These are deep mysteries and you are doing a beautiful job mapping this out and obviously have experienced major revelations of your own about Malta, Lemuria and the Atlantean story. There is so much wisdom in this treasure of a book...You write that it is good to take this book in slow motions, as in a dancer on a mountain performing his exercises. It seeps. It steeps...I feel we are here to share, that all signs on the road we all travel are deeply about our lives and Share the Road is the greatest of these! You are sharing the road. I know, and you know, something amazing is happening. I look forward to your second novel, as I am truly enjoying your first. Your ‘thirst’ for knowledge is great and your ability to share, Divine!
Lindsay Barraclough – UK/Gozo: I loved the book - the way it was written made it so interesting and helped me understand. The Energies in Gozo are still working their magical wonder on me. I was not sure why I was on Gozo and now I think the answer is the temples. I found many answers in your book….. Great book I loved it and have passed on to many. Can't wait for the second one soon.
Jeany Butterfli - Malta/Scotland: I finished your book very quickly upon my return to Edinburgh, it helped me understand so many things about myself that I have always doubted, and for this I am infinitely grateful! Thank you.
Joanne Mizzi – Malta: A book everyone should find time to read! Brilliant! Keep up the good work!
Kirsti Newton – UK/Malta: I read your book straight after I bought it...I could not put it down – what a fabulous read! I can't wait for your next one to come out.
Marylyn Whayman - UK: On the final morning of our holiday, we went into St. John's Cathedral in Valletta. I had been unsure of whether or not I wanted to visit the church during the week but went in anyway. I found it quite oppressive and wondered why I had bought a ticket - that is until I left through the book/gift shop exit where I glanced onto the book table and saw a copy of the "Islands of Dream". There was just one copy there - so I picked it up and read through the content list... and then knew why I had gone into the church…Now, I am reading your book "Islands of Dream" in which you discuss many of my beliefs and interests. Thank you!
Tove Börjesdotter Buhe-Stam – Sweden: Islands of Dream is the first book I started to read it directly on the plane back home, and it is one of the best…I have been reading a lot of books...my own library have almost 10.000 books and I am at the city library once a week for at least 8 new books!).
Julie Sharkey – UK: I have just finished Islands of Dream and I would like to applaud you for writing this amazing book. I savoured every page as I read what I can only describe as the most truthful and accurate account of the most important place on this planet. My third eye was activated as soon as Ranfis met Manwel and what followed was a very pure truth. Much was revealed to me as I read between the lines too; I could see and feel the energies as I recognised so much of what Ranfis had to say. It’s strange, I have too sat looking out to Filfla in deep peace, and I have sat in deep contemplation in the restaurant in Hagar Qim and I have also walked the silent streets of Qrendi, in awe, just listening to and feeling the magic of the earth. So, for me, it was a very remarkable and personal journey to be in the same space as Manwel, Rosaria and Ranfis. Much was confirmed to me...I remember my first visit to Malta, as I may have mentioned before, I felt that that is where is all began for me countless of incarnations ago and that I had found home after a very long journey. This book has confirmed so much that was deep within my being…I needed to share with you both that the book resonated with me one hundred per cent and that it all made perfect sense to me, even the centre point in the Mosta Dome, the most amazing energy.
Omin Mindo Damalis - Malta: a hidden history reborn - truly a book that sheds the light!
Judy Foort - Australia: this new book was an amazing read from start to finish - I couldn't put it down; an amazing read! Written as a fantastic discovery novel and the second of two books that have already changed and enhanced my belief system dramatically and forever and for which I humbly thank you. You have so much passion and wisdom to share about a subject of which the World outside Malta has so little knowledge...their loss! Never have I been so excited about anything as much as the revelations brought to light in this new book...I learn so much from reading this novel. I must admit that both of these books have changed my life and validated what I already felt that I had always known. Both books should and will change the world.
Noel Abela - Malta: This book was a gasp of fresh air to me…it has a wonderful feel good factor. As someone who never accepted the ‘established’ theories of prehistory, this book was a gasp of fresh air to me. So, to those who yearn for an alternative view, this is the book. It is a pleasant read too, mainly in the form of interesting conversations between three charming characters who live on the island of Malta. Few people know that this little island in the Mediterranean is home to the greatest concentration of prehistoric temples and other megalithic sites worldwide.
Marie Micallef - Malta: I could not put the book down also because I had read his first book Islands of Dreams that was given to me as a gift so when I saw his second book which goes into more details I couldn't resist. Really a fabulous read. Raffaella & I are both big fans of Islands of Dream and we recommend it to everyone! I could not put the book down. Really a fabulous read.
Raffaella Russignaga - Italy/Malta: Congratulation. I am loving the new book!
Dorotee Palamountain – Australia: My eldest daughter, Teresa has done much research on Malta, Temples, Goddesses - even though she has never visited Malta. Teresa and I were highly inspired by Francis’ two books/novels which gave so much information that it needed to be assimilated slowly and which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Myra Jackson - USA: I’m enjoying your book. Your generous and insightful spirit is so palpable in this book. The Lemuria - Atlantis connection is resonating powerfully with me.

It was interesting to learn about beliefs that I do not hold even though the author did not convince me. If you are not willing to have an open mind then this novel about the truly fascinating temples (I can say this after visiting them) is not for you. I downgraded my rating slighly not because of the beliefs but because the book was too preachy for me.
