Can true love - and a sweet tooth - conquer all?

Abby Branson has a plus-size crush on handsome billionaire Stephen Blake, CEO of a gourmet foods empire. But when she's hired by Blake Foods as a taste tester for a new line of diet desserts, she's devastated to discover that the real Mr. Blake isn't anything like the fantasy man in her dreams. Until one passionate kiss reveals there's more to the brooding billionaire than meets the eye.

With profits slipping, the future of Stephen Blake's gourmet foods company is riding on the successful launch of his diet desserts line. Adding cute and curvy Abby Branson to the project team makes sense. After all, she smart, feisty, and fits the customer demographic to a T. Although love is the last thing on Stephen's mind, he can't help but notice that Abby is more delicious than anything his company creates.

Sparks soon fly between the billionaire and the BBW. But with her insecurities and his wounded heart, coming up with the right recipe for romance won't be a piece of cake. Will Stephen and Abby succeed in the diet desserts business - and find true love in the process?

Sweet for You is a feel-good romance with a HEA ending. This sweet, romantic novella is one guilty pleasure that won't pack on the pounds - even if you read it more than once!

Abby is a plus-size curvy girl who really is disappointed in her job. She basically has no life. She does go to a support meeting about loving who you are at the size you are. Yet, she sticks to herself.

While there they have a speaker, who shows them how to dress their bodies to accent the positive. The lady tells them the price ranges to get key pieces to get buy and the total amount to last you a year. She will even go with you for a price of course.

She finds a flyer with an ad for a taste tester, of new a diet dessert line for Blake Gourmet Foods. It is coming out soon and she doesn’t care really what it is she wants to work for that company she has a crush on Mr. Blake. They will be paying well for being a tester, she’s in. Enough at least to buy new clothes for a new job hunt.

Let’s just say the desserts were not great and move one, but her feedback was priceless. They ask her to come back again. The desserts are better tasting but only marginally. Again, her feedback priceless to the point where Stephen Blake, CEO, hires her for a year with an option at the end.

There are sparks between these two but Stephen is clueless when it comes to relationships. Plus, I think Abby scares him she wears her emotions on her sleeves and he has to have his dragged out. Good cast of characters and so sweet & funny too. Fast read. I give this: 5++++ stars. Free on Amazon. Follow us at www.1rad-readerreviws.com.

Officially I would give this book 3.5 stars. I loved the story and it was very cute and well written. The only thing that brings down my rating is the insta-love and the length. I felt the book and the romance itself was too short. I would have liked to have seen a longer courtship/dating time between the main characters and more interactions between them. It made the relationship a little less believable when it was so rushed. That being said, I appreciate the focus on curvy characters and the female empowerment of being ok with your size.

Abby Branson, a BBW working an admin job, is looking to change her professional life and she answers an ad to taste diet desserts by Blake Foods. She meets Stephen Blake, the billionaire CEO and sparks fly. Then, romance happens.

The Good, The Bad and Everything In Between

- Kindle Unlimited : I’m always searching for a good BBW romance, so I had wanted to try this story out. The cost always stopped me (pricey for the page count IMO) but if you have KU, it’s not bad to try out.

- Quick and easy novella : It’s super short and easy to squeeze in between reads. I think the story suffered because it felt like a bit shallow. Had there been more time invested in making the romance itself more believable and a real connection between Stephen and Abby, I may have enjoyed it more than I did.

- Abby’s a decent BBW heroine : Abby’s not so negative about her body, nor so positive as to be unbelievable. I think her career is more fantastical than the way she handles her curves.

- Stephen’s oblivious : Stephen’s kind of awkward and completely blind to the way Abby perceives him. Which I wouldn’t expect from a man who’s all about his billion-dollar business.

- Romance is sweeter than any of the desserts : It’s a fairy tale. The way they connected was less heat and way sweet. But as long as you don’t need it to be realistic, it can still work.

The Bottom Line
I wanted to like it, but it was a bit short and stretched believability. If you’re into BBW romances you may enjoy it.

Needing some extra money Curvy Abby decides to volunteer for a diet product testing gig making some good money. When her blunt honesty shows the company how horrible their new deserts are the owner Stephen Blake offers her a job she can't refuse. As time goes by the two dance around each other while getting the new line off the ground, but when missunderstands abound will they passion they have for each other help them figure things out? Or will their possible relationship finish with the launching of the Sweet for You desert line?

Abby is happy with who she is extra curves and all even though at times you see her insecurity her strengths are seen much more often. Stephen isn't outgoing at all and even though it is explained that he's not good at talking with people his inability to connect left me wanting at times. His inner monologue helps you see more of who he is but it would've been nice to see more of it. I liked the storyline overall with the Deserts launch being a great way to bring two people together. My complaint that while yes I understand this is meant to be a short story I would've liked to see more depth and interaction between the main characters of when they were getting to know each other.

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.

Short and sweet. This books isn't going to win any awards but if you are after a quick romantic read which is fun and doesn't require much in the way of brain power I'd recommend this. Strong female lead with lots of personality. For me it was just what I was in the mood for. I'll be looking out for the next on in the series.

2.5-3 stars.

Cute novella, although I would've liked it more if it were a full novel. I thought there was a lot of room to develop the characters, particularly Abby. I liked her and I wanted to know more about her.

Still, I liked the overall idea.

Crystal is a baker working at Blake Foods gourmet department. Greyson is a billionaire who doesn't want to get married. He works with his brothers in the hotel business. He changed his mind when he saw Crystal. They fall in love and get their happily ever after. I couldn't put this book down due to the characters and the plot of the book.

I got this book for free from the author if i give the book an honest review.

This feels like it was written by someone's grandmother. Everything felt trite and contrived. I normally like a but of fluff, but this had no substance whatsoever. They don't have anything more than a drunken kiss, which is swept aside as they continue to work together. Then out of the blue he's going to propose? They haven't even gone on a date! This is pretty forgettable, and I highly doubt I'll read anything else from the author.

This is utter fantasy. Getting a new job where you are compensated ridiculously well to taste desserts AND the hot millionaire boss falls in love with you? Yes please! Totally unrealistic but I enjoyed my little dream.

I liked the story, but I wish it could have been longer with a more developed plot and not just telling the reader what happens but showing them too. >_<

A cute little short that will have you gooey all over. Abby has always been on the larger size of life, but she never lets it get her down. She embraces her body and had long ago decided that she will do the best she can, with what she has, and if certain people didn't like it, too bad! In a bit of a rut with work, and feeling like she's not getting anywhere fast, she decides to make a move. When a flyer catches her eye at one of her BBW empowerment meetings, she grabs it with one motive...to earn enough "fast cash" to allow her to buy the wardrobe she'll need before she attempts to "move up" the corporate ladder. Stephen Black needs something big to happen with his new idea for diet desserts. At his wits end, he decides to hire taste testers for his new line, hoping to find an honest few that will help with the roll-out of it. What he doesn't expect to find though, was Abby. Not only was she honest when she tasted the desserts presented to her, but she seduced him while doing it. The only question he has to answer now is....what's he going to do about it? With his personal assistant playing matchmaker, and Abby's brutal honesty, he doesn't stand a chance, even if he wanted to.
An awesome read you won't want to miss. Loved it!

Stephen and Abby

This was a really cute BBW/Billionaire story. And I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who was licking their lips craving something sweet when they were taste testing the new desserts. Abby and Stephen were cute together even though they were both dense at times. They just need to communicate better rather than jumping to conclusions.

Sweet and spicyish

This is a sweet romance with some spice but no steam. The language was clean. The characters were engaging and dynamic and the story was quick, but complete. A good story.

Great short story

After I started reading this book it seemed very familiar. Then I realized that this was an updated version of a book that I had already read. I liked it so much that I read it again.

Short and sweet?

It was a cute and easy read but it was really fast and I think everything happened really quickly and like a fairytale. I wish it was given more time to work out any incomplete detail.

Just like the title says, it’s sweet but it’s also stale just like the cheesecake Abby tried in the beginning. I didn’t really feel the chemistry between the two other than when they were trying all the desserts together & the wrap up at the end felt rushed.

Such a sweet book

I enjoyed this book because of its simplicity. It was a bit corny but a change of pace was enlightening.
