Eshita S Ganguly is the founder of Cliste Global, Marketing Agency, Mumbai, India. Her journey of writing fictional novels started with Wattpad followed by AO3. Her debut Novel “Accustomed to Darkness” has gain lot of appreciations, and pushed her to introduce herself as a writer for Resemblance. She is also an Editor for fictional novels, blog writer and a Content Creator.


Being a Business Alumnus of Amity University Mumbai, she has taken part in educating young students by offering guest lectures in the University and training interns in her own organization. Eshita is planning to open an academy for young aspiring professionals.

This book entails a saga which suspensefully weaves a threads of identity, duty, and desire against a backdrop of political intrigue & familial tensions. Through the exciting & rich tapestry of characters like Edeline and Sebastian,the saga delves into the depths of their internal conflicts & the evolution of their relationship. Edeline's journey from grappling with societal norms to embracing her autonomy is gripping, whereas Sebastian's struggle between obligation and longing adds layers to his persona.

The atmospheric depictions & vivid imagery transport readers into the story's world, from lavish palaces to perilous forests. The pacing strikes a harmonious balance, blending moments of tension, reflection, and action to keep readers eagerly anticipating what lies ahead.

Dialogue flows naturally, deepening character arcs and propelling the plot forward. The use of first-person narration offers an intimate exploration of the protagonists' innermost thoughts and feelings, shedding light on their motivations and aspirations.

Themes of power dynamics, gender expectations, and individual agency are masterfully examined, challenging conventions and enriching the narrative. The author's eccentric writing style, adorned with vivid language and descriptive flair, breathes life into the characters and their surroundings.

While the narrative excels in character development and thematic exploration, opportunities for further plot development could enhance its overall impact. In the beginning, it might seem an arduous and bulky read. It took me certain amount of time to get engrossed in it. Perhaps, pacing adjustments could sustain momentum throughout.

But once one starts becoming familiar with the saga and the nuisances of the characters it becomes an unputdownable read till the very end which will leave you guessing and agape as the saga will continue in the next part of this duology.

In essence, the book delivers a mesmerizing story with multifaceted characters, immersive world-building, and thought-provoking themes. Its compelling storytelling and emotional resonance ensure a lasting impression, making it a must read for all the dark romance readers . //

Let’s welcome Sebastian to my book boyfriends club LIKE OHMYGODDDDD THE MAN WAS SO SUPPORTIVE OF HER AND CARED FOR HER !!!! He annoyed her, teased her, trained her, respected her, cared for her, was loyal to her,oh I forgot to mention was SOOOOO OBSESSED WITH HER!!!!!!!

Usually I go for dark hair MMC but he is an exception for me !!!

Let me be honest. I had zero hopes for this book. As soon as i started reading this book just pulled me inside it. I was so happy and giddy while reading this book. I had zero hopes because this was mentioned as dark romance, if you see my review on Haunting Adeline you will understand why i don't like dark romance much , but i loved this book. Sebastien has my heart. Definitely give it a try.

I loved this book so much. It was such a fun read. I’ve never read a historical romance ever so it was something new to me. Sebastian’s character was so good. The way he treated Edeline was so good! I look forward to read the next book.
