Shared by the Firemen

Rate this book
I came back to Florida to settle my mother’s estate.
But after a raging house fire, I’m rescued by three swoony firemen.
There’s just one problem:
One of them is sorta, kinda, my ex.

Jack Franco was the boy-next-door from my childhood. Literally. Part friend, part foe—but 100% swoony hunk that I always had a crush on. We spent our high school years flirting and bickering and teasing each other, but despite the way we secretly looked at each other, we went off to college and missed our chance.
Liam is Jack’s fireman teammate. From New Zealand, the yellow-haired goofball is always ready with a joke and a grin, even when the house is literally on fire.
Mateo is the third member of the team. A Cuban-American, his bronze skin and quiet demeanor make me think he’s shy. But once I get to know him? I realize he can roll up his sleeves and take-charge with the best of them.

I went on a date with Liam to make Jack jealous.
And after Mateo jumped in on the action a few days later?
Now I have my hands full in a way I never expected.

Can Jack and I work through our complicated history?
Or will our differences—and my new relationships with his friends—prove too difficult to extinguish?

SHARED BY THE FIREMEN is a sizzling Reverse Harem love story filled with action, fire, and red-hot romance. HEA guaranteed!

I really enjoyed this book even though I feel like it really needed to be a lot longer. I wanted way more time with her and Jack. And I also feel like we were left hanging not knowing if they were going to be as a harem or not in the future.

Smokin' Hot Hot Hot!!!
I’ve read several reverse harem books by Cassie Cole and Shared by the Firemen is another good one with just enough story and equal amounts of steamy sexy scenes. That’s one of the reasons I enjoy Cassie’s books, there’s a real story it’s not just page after page of sex scenes. You get to know the characters and their back stories, so you feel a connection to each of them.

A fire traps Alyssa in her childhood home, the window had been painted shut and there was hurricane glass and try as she might it wouldn’t break, and she began to lose consciousness from smoke inhalation. Suddenly a hunky fireman with an axe appears in the doorway. Loved that scene! He carries Alyssa to safety just in the nick of time. The fireman, Jack Franco, recognizes her immediately as the girl who lived a few houses away growing up. He had been secretly in love with Alyssa and she him, but they never communicated their feelings for the longest time.

In the meantime, Alyssa dates Jack’s two best friends, Liam and Mateo. Who were sinfully sexy firemen as well. Liam is from New Zealand and had been an exchange student at Alyssa and Jack’s high school. Mateo was from Cuba, a surfer, and owned a bar in Clearwater. All this testosterone in one room leads to a steamy night for the three of them.

Eventually there is a very happy ending for the four of them, once they shared their feelings for one another and began communicating better.

I have read numerous books by Cassie Cole and enjoyed each and every one and if you enjoy reverse harem with plenty of steam this one will not disappoint.

"Shared by the Firemen" is a second chance,  reverse harem novel by author Cassie Cole.

There are so many reverse harem books on the market right now, and I'm guilty of  trying to read them all. What I really enjoyed about this book is that you really got to know each character individually, it's not just one sex scene after another. (Don't worry, there are still  plenty on steamy moments to keep a reader  enthralled!) Trust me, I love steamy sex scenes just as much as anyone, but sometimes it's just nice to get to know the characters on a deeper level so that their sexy escapades have more meaning.

The author shared Allysa, Jack, Liam & Mateo's back stories, and their feelings both past and present, which really brought each character to life and made them relatable-- and as a reader this made me root for their friendships and relationship to succeed.  This book definitely had a few intriquing plot twist and unexpected storylines, making it was very fun to read. I love the flashback scenes so that you got to understand each character and the way they viewed specific situations in their previous interactions with each other. I honestly loved this book and couldn't put it down! This is definitely a must read book for 2024.  Cassie Cole is by far one of my favorite authors in the reverse harem trope and I'm already looking forward to her next release.

A second chance, partially enemies to lovers romance!

Alyssa hates Clearwater, the little town that she and her twin sister grew up. She has horrible memories there but had to fly down to settle her mother's affairs since her passing. The first night there, rather than stay in a hotel, she decides to spend the night at her mother's house.
She wakes up to flames.
Thankfully, she's rescued by the local fire department. When she goes in to thank them, she sees a face she didn't think she wanted to see ever again: Jake. He was a bit of a bully in school to her, but she couldn't help having a crush on him all the same. Neither of them are happy to see the other.
In the meantime, she befriends Jake's two best friends, and they get to know each other better. Things progress with them while Jake denies any feelings he has for her.
Something happens around 3/4 the way in the book, and it's a bit emotional to read. Things take on a new light. You see things in a way that you didn't see before. It makes you wish Jake and Alyssa had communicated better when they were younger. In the end, though, things worked out better because now she has a relationship with multiple men who she grows to care deeply for.

The writing was excellent, each character had their own unique personality, and there are twists in the book you don't see coming. I'd read it again!

Alyssa Ford arrives back in Clearwater Florida. She has not been home since she left for college 8 years ago. She and her twin sister Brandi are meeting at the house they grew up in because their mother died. Alyssa wants to get her mom’s house and business in order so she can get back to New York and her life as a photographer.

Jack Franco grew up 2 doors down from the Ford sisters. The first day they met, the twins were 11 and Jack, his brother and another friend made fun of the girls. Jack and Alyssa have always circled around each other. They even had a moment together right before Alyssa left for college.

The night Alyssa arrives back in town, a fire breaks out in the garage. Jack and his fellow firefighters, Liam Campbell and Mateo Vega rescue Alyssa. She brings them cookies at the firehouse to thank them. She remembers that Liam was a foreign exchange student from New Zealand when they were juniors in high school. Liam asks Alyssa out to snap Jack into reacting and Alyssa accepts the date to make Jack jealous.

I liked how Alyssa got to know all three guys and connected with each of them in different ways. I also liked a few of the surprises Cassie threw into the story.

Wow! I loved this from the start it was emotional & I really felt for Alyssa with the way their mother had treated her & Brandi & having to deal with sorting out the mess she had left them after she died.
It was bad enough being in the house but then she almost died went it caught fire with her inside only to be rescued by Jack the person she'd had a love hate relationship with since they moved in when they were kids. She was grateful to Jack & his fire fighter best friends Matteo & Liam but even though Jsck had warned them that she was bad news after the way things had gone on between them when they were younger & she left they couldn't help hut be drawn into her.
We saw emotional, painful, betrayal, secrets, HOT! HOT! HOT! & steamy times but then a fire in a building almost cost a happy ever after & made them own upto exactly how they felt before everything could end for them before it had even started but there is a huge surprising twist at the end that I never saw coming.
Definitely recommend this book.

Shared by the Fireman was a book I was excited to read. The author is new to me. The relationship between the sisters seemed unbreakable and best friends. Especially as light sheds about their mother’s treatment when they were younger. Then entered the men from the past. The layers of how the relationship became as it was a tailspin from past to present.

That being said, this book took me a while. I began reading it, but then had to put it down. I debated for a while if I wanted to get back to reading it. Mainly because I wasn’t invested. It was a lot of back and forth past wise. I honestly would have liked to see the parallels between Jack and Alyssa parents to give more layers into how it molded them. They both had trauma, that shaped them and impacted their own ability to build a relationship.

I did end up picking it back up and finishing, though felt the ending was rushed. Yes, a life event happened to really give 20/20 sight and let go of the past. However, I would have liked to seen more renewed aspects.

Overall this story has potential and an alright open to the reverse harem aspects.

3.5⭐️

This was a total guilty pleasure read. I’ve read several of Cassie Cole’s books and always appreciate them for what they are: Easy, OTT escapism. And this one was exactly that. I enjoyed it, but had a few things that frustrated a bit. I’m not a fan of flashbacks, they interrupt the flow of the story and this book had quite a few of those. Also, I’ve read quite some RH stories and I like it best when it kind of makes sense that several guys would accept other guys being intimate with their girl (I mean it is always unrealistic as heck 😅), but in this one i found it especially unbelievable that they were all fine with the arrangement. Especially adding Jack in the end. She had seggs with him without discussing it with the other two first. That feels like cheating somehow. I dunno 🤷‍♀️😅
But apart from these things, this was an easy, smooth read. Some decent plot, plenty of smut and pretty drama free.

Safety:
- OW: One of the H’s (Jack) has a girlfriend at the start of the book. He breaks up with her almost immediately. No drama.
- OM: h is with three men (as this is RH). No outside OM drama.
- No cheating
- No separation / no third act break up

Cassie does it again, the Queen of RH! I really enjoyed this book, who doesn’t love firemen, and three hot as sin firemen? Even better.
Alyssa is back home in Florida to settle her mom’s affairs as she has passed away. Waiting on her twin sister, Alyssa braves going back into her childhood home. Life was not always easy for the girls whose just wanted their moms love, as she was a selfish women. Nothing brings back the past, when a fire consumes her childhood home she comes face mask to face with a childhood rival. Jack, feelings left unsaid and now they are both back in the same small town.

The steam is spot on, the story and dialogue flows seamlessly. Not to mention Jack’s best friends Liam and Matteo. How can a girl choose! Love that Cassie does her research for all her books as you feel you are right there in the story.

I love a realistic RH: Alyssa and Jack each had a terrible parent which created distrust and a lack of understanding with others. The chemistry was there, but they didn’t have the tools to communicate their feelings. Their second chance is frustrating at first because they let old history get in the way. Thank goodness for Liam and Mateo! Alyssa is a little naughty, but very open and responsive, and she’s confident enough to ask for what she wants.

I love reading Cassie Cole’s books because there is always a great story that’s well written with characters I enjoy learning about. Alyssa, Jack, Liam, and Mateo make their relationship work by not being afraid to talk about their feelings, hopes, and dreams. The sexual attraction is OTT and the guys are extremely sexy and thoughtful. There’s some danger and sadness in Alyssa’s story, but she’ll have her guys to support her emotionally.

the pace of the book was odd. first it was fast, then very slow , then again fast with jumbled ending.

jack, one of mmc had a gf when fmc arrived to town. the gf plot was unnecessary in the end bc he broke up with her in the next chapter. the other guy asked out fmc just to make the first one jealous. what was wrong with this story?
“I don’t actually want to go out with her,” Liam explained. “I only did that to prove a point”

the plot with brandi and the fire was ridiculous. i didn’t like her character.

the whole drama around jack and alyssa wasn’t very interesting. it was a miscommunication trope of course. i didn’t like how it was obvious that fmc’s feelings for the guys weren’t equal. she clearly favored jack bc of their past.

i wanted to see them all dating together. doing stuff. the book had only two sex scenes with more than two participants - too few for a rh book.

This is a story about coming home and not just literally but figuratively as well. Alyssa and Brandi had a physically and verbally abusive mother and they can't wait to graduate and move away.
Jack has a physically abusive father. And they live just 3 houses apart.
When Alyssa and Brandi's mother dies they come back to town to deal with her belongings and when her house catches fire with Alyssa inside 3 firemen come to the rescue. One of them is non other than Jack.
Things aren't easy for the sisters in the weeks following the fire but Alyssa meets the 2 firemen and finally gets to talk to Jack.
The descriptions of the Clearwater area and the way the storyline is written makes you feel a part of the story. One I didn't want to end.

Alyssa is back in town to sell the home she and her twin sister grew up in. She decides to stay in the house while getting it ready to sell and in her first night a fire happens. She is unable to escape because the windows are painted shut and the windows won't break. Jack is a fire fighter, and he is the one that saves Alyssa. Jack and Alyssa grew up near each other and when they were younger the secretly liked one another. Alyssa ends up dating Jack and his friends Mateo and Liam. Will they be able to convince her to stay in town? Can what they have be something more for them?

This is a steamy story that will draw you in from the first chapter on. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Great story! Loved it

This story kept me on my toes. So much of it was unexpected! There's a lot that goes on, but it's all believable. The relationship between Alyssa and Jack seems a bit extra intense, but 15-year-old misconceptions will do that. I loved trying to keep track of the various accents in my mind as I read.

I'm slightly concerned about the complete lack of condoms. It's like they don't exist in this universe. They're never discussed in the present tense, and unplanned pregnancies are only mentioned in regards to teenagers. Considered removing a star for the lack of safety during one-night stands.

This book was well-written with very few editing errors. I am still confused about Liam's mom, though. Seems two very different stories were floated, and the loser didn't get deleted.

Another well written RH romance by Cassie Cole. This story is about Alyssa who returned home after her mother died and her romantic adventures with three firemen: Jack, Liam and Matteo. Alyssa and her sister returned home to take care of their mother's affair. Alyssa decides to stay at her mother's home when she wakes up finding the house on fire. She gets saved by three firemen, Jack, Liam and Matteo. Jack was an old childhood crush and neighbor that ended badly. Alyssa goes out with Liam and Matteo whom she finds attractive. But Jack wants to reconnect, can he get his second chance? The characters were likable, their interactions were engaging, the romance was steamy, and the story was entertaining in this copy I'd received and volunteered to read and review.

Second Chance 4 stars. - It’s sort of a second chance for Jack and Alyssa. It wasn’t even miscommunication that made them miss their first chance. That would imply they were exchanging meaningful sentences. It was teenage immatureness that made them miss their chance of connecting in high school. Older Liam has no issues with the past so he was able to enjoy his time with Alyssa. Mateo, who was hesitant at first, easily adjusted to the situation with Liam. It took awhile for Jack to figure his feelings out but I do like the way the author formatted the chapters. The chapters jump from present to past repeatedly which gives the reader background insight. I received an advanced copy and voluntarily chose to review it.

this book warmed my

Movie buff heart, I giggled so many times at the movie references “big hearts big hearts”❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I really really loved this book. It was a quick fun read, I really enjoyed the character development and how it showed the difference between how one relationship can develop, and one not develop at the same time in our lives.

I loved the natural way the choose/reverse harem developed, it was very organic and not tripe. I really enjoyed the character development of all of the main characters and the sister. I thought that the flashbacks to the past or well done and added to the story instead of taking away.

AND!!! For their mother just to call them A and B that’s heartless

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Alyssa, Jack, Mateo, & Liam. Alyssa learns that her mom has died and she and her sister agree to go to the house to settle the affairs. The thing is without her mom their Alyssa really doesn't feel the need to run from this place. The one thing she does wonder is if Jack is still around or if that ship has sailed for good. Little did she know less than 24 hours after arriving in town she would see him again. Not only that she finds two other men that just might be able to help her complete her healing process. Can they find a HEA or will distance make that impossible?

Another amazing hit by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Second chance type of book

Thus novel touches some child abuse from parental manipulation to physical abuse. Childhood trauma from home situation to bullying and being the bully.
Twin sisters, 3 boys in the neighborhood and first impressions set forth early events.
I like how Cassie Cole always builds up her characters, Back stories to give the frame of thinking of that character. Steamy hot scenes but more events to daily life than just sex scenes. But when there is a scene it is spicy regardless if it's one on one or group.
I love reverse harems and Cassie Cole is one of my favorite authors in this category (only wish she would include the seriousness of safe sex especially with multiple partners, at least until Monogamous relationship is talked about)

Alyssa returns home with her sister after the death of their mother to handle her affairs. While staying in her childhood home, there is a fire and she is rescued by her high school nemesis and former neighbor, Jack. Jack has become a local fireman along with his two best friends and the reappearance of Alyssa brings up old hurts and unrequited feelings. As she gets to know the friends, things heat up and get steamy between them. This is a thoughtful book about childhood trauma, crushes, hurts and growing up while finding love.

Warning : Graphic content. If that is your thing, then this book is for you!
This is a wonderfully written story about childhood friends who grow up and continue the sexual attraction from junior high into eight years after high school.
Fraternal twins, Alyssa and Brandi, return to their mother’s home after her passing to get it ready to sell. Alyssa meets up with her high school crush Jack where she also meets Jack’s two best friends Mateo and Liam. The chemistry is off the charts!
If you enjoy reading reverse harem love stories, then this is definitely the book for you! I have read many of Cassie Cole books and I think this is her best one yet!

Cathartic, but also Five-Alarm Hot

Alyssa and her sister Brandi have returned to Clearwater Florida to deal with their mother’s estate. The town has bad memories for them both, but especially Alyssa and her antagonistic relationship with Jack Franco. But throw in firefighter’s Liam and Marco, and maybe this town isn’t so bad after all… This book is perfectly steamy and oh so hot, between Kiwi Liam and Cuban-American Marco making things spicy, plus the emotional amperage coming from Jake. I loved their relationship, but what really took the cake for me was the sister’s relationship - it’s strength and especially the way these two bantered. Overall, an amazing read.

Hot and steamy reverse harem romance. Alyssa is in town to deal with the mess her mother left behind after her death, her mother was horrible and verbally abusive to Alyssa and her twin Brandi. James is her childhood nemesis and one of the three firefighters that saved her life when she was trapped in a fire. He's harbored feeling for Alyssa since they were kids be never found the courage to tell her. Liam and Mateo are the other two firefighters and both date her. Their story is a super steamy, fast paced read.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. I've been reading Cassie's books for years and she always comes up with interesting storylines and characters. Alyssa has come back to Florida to help settle her mother's affairs. She and Jack don't have the best history, but that attraction has always been there. When he, Liam and Mateo come to her aid, things begin to change for them. Even with their differences and her plans to return home, they can't deny the chemistry. Their story has drama, danger, friendship and plenty of heat. Overall it was a good rh and I liked the characters

This is another entertaining and steamy RH romance by this author. Alyssa, back home to deal with her mother's affairs, finds herself being rescued by a Jack, her old crush, and his two close buddies, Matteo and Liam. At first, Liam and Matteo pursue Alyssa but Jack has to decide if he can let go of the past as they mystery around the fire deepens. I really enjoyed the flashbacks told in both Alyssa and Jack's POV. The sexy scenes were spicy and the HEA, sweet. Altogether, this was engaging and steamy read and I was madly flipping pages to see how things would unfold :D

Alyssa returns to Clearwater and all its memories following her mother's death.
Alyssa had left Clearwater for college and not returned to the place of her horrible childhood. Now she would be meeting her twin sister there to sort out her mother's estate. She arrive and stays in the house which catches fire over night and she is rescued by her old enemy now fireman Jack. A story with the past effecting the present but also the present clearing away the impact of the past.

where there is fire

I was ready to be swept away with MFC to swept away by her RH of firefighters and Ms Cole delivered big time. Alyssa and her twin Brandi had an awful birth person ( she was no mother) growing up. As soon as they could, they left. They came back when the b$tch died to sell house and her business. There Alyssa meets back up with Jack and all their feelings come out. Then to add Liam and Mateo to the mix. O la la! Words and feelings are expressed and the four moved on to have an exquisite relationship together.

This is a HOT RH,Second Chance Romance that really delivers Jack, Liam, Mateo and Allysa's story. We get to know them and we get their backstories as well as experience their feelings now and then. This to me is what made this book so much more than your average RH romance the characters were relatable and we got a story that we could invest in as well as the steamy sexy times. I would definitely recommend reading this book.

Alyssa goes back to Florida to take care of her mom‘s affairs after her passing. She is stuck in a fire and ends up getting rescued by her childhood nemesis. She has always had mixed feelings for Jack and that hasn’t changed.
She ends up hanging out with two of the other firefighters and enjoy spending time with them all.

This is the first time I wish she would’ve just been in a relationship with one of them because they had had complicated feelings for each other for years. Liked it, but not as much as previous books.
