Ever since the Kennedy administration, The Body Man has operated in secret within the White House. The Body Man is back in Breach of Trust the second book by Eric P. Bishop. This time the attacks from The Sanctum is spreading to several places around the world and it's a wild ride for The Body Man and his associates have their work cut out for them. Is someone also targeting Nick Jordan? It has been a long wait for us fans of mr. Bishops work but those who awaits something good have not waited in vain. This book is out in stores all over the world in June and for those that still? hasn't read the first book it's about time you do so. The second edition of the first book is available on most platforms and I can't recommend it highly enough. Eric has invented a great new function within the secret service. (Or has he?) If you like well written thrillers and conspiracies you will love these books, while you are at it you should also check out his splendid work in the Omega group series, book two is out later this year. I can personally tell you all that in Breach of Trust Nick Jordan, the current Body Man is getting some great and unexpected help from some people I have communicated with through the years. I had a really great time reading this book and I look forward to what will happen in the next one.

Trust Me...It's Good

Nick Jordan returns as the Body Man, protector of the office of the presidency, and a great second story it is.
Nick is still working to rid the world of the Sanctum, along with help from
a few others with the full consent of the director of the secret service and the
president himself.
Great action with nonstop suspense, intrigue and some very interesting historical references thrown in for good measure.
The characters are strong and well defined.
I wondered how good the second book would be after the excellent first.
No need to have wondered at all.
I am so ready for the next one.

High on a happy vibe, the Belgian Steamroller waltzed from wan offerings and a surprise worldwide darling early MMA film from the 1980s into the next decade. A host of cookie cutter one-man-army vehicles followed until the Muscles from Brussels teamed up for the second film with Writer/Director Sheldon Lettich in 1991's DOUBLE IMPACT. Leveraging the novel split-screen tech for all its worth, the para-Hong Kong action flick, only the second big studio US release for Jean-Claude Van Damme, exposed audiences to Van Damme like he hadn't been seen before. Keeping his ego in check with single, pre-title billing, JCVD played twin brothers from two walks of life, giving fans twice the punch for single price. BREACH OF TRUST sees the return of Nick Jordan, aka THE BODY MAN, and much like DOUBLE IMPACT, warrants the claim that "there's two of them!" As in double the threat and double the trouble. In solid LETHAL WEAPON fashion, the only thing the brothers were ever good at, is killing people; they do it real good. One's out for cash, the other's out for flag-draped glory. America the Beautiful vs America the bountiful, the almighty Dollar. It's Romulus and Remus, and THE BODY MAN is there to tip the scale, sworn to protect the office of the President of the United States, come hell or high water, or bloody hands and scorched soul.

Affected by a touch of the PTSD from time spent on a remote drilling platform in the Gulf of Mexico, THE BODY MAN once again roams 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Same place, different incumbent. Much bigger than any one specific person, Nick Jordan protects the office of the president from threats within and without, a RAY DONOVAN-esque gig to make problems go away. A pretty basic meat and potatoes type dude, The Body Man is not one for souvenirs or being sentimental, a veritable minimalist, ideal for a man in the shadows and the person where secrets go to die a lonely death. Funded by line items buried deep in Uncle Sugar's annual budget, this secondary line of protection is only trifled with by fools and the truly insane. BREACH OF TRUST resurrects 'The Sanctum', a SPECTRE type syndicate that operates around the globe, involved in almost anything ranging from torture, arms sales, crypto, and like the Corleone Clan, Olive Oil. The current administration was mad enough to declare war on The Sanctum, in turn making them crazy enough to declare a jihad on the White House. Crazy is as crazy does. As bad-ass as the Body Man may be, no man is an island, bringing in Operation Red Star, a different version of RAINBOW SIX with heaped tablespoons of alphabet soup agencies and the Mossad, to stop the baddies, save the girl, and prevent the biggest cement dust sprinkled parking lot on the Potomac.

As with its predecessor, BREACH OF TRUST goes full-tilt boogie with intrigue, global conspiracy, political power grab, kidnappings, stiff drinks, brutality, and action. Plenty of action. Dotting the narrative with the author's unending love for music and rock lyrics, BREACH OF TRUST drips with great, snappy dialogue, though most places where it gets really interesting and entertaining, the scene ends. Intent on destroying the paperless office and trying to bring back hard copies, folders, printing, and typed stuff, BREACH OF TRUST also goes long with cool references to THE HOBBIT, Chris Cuomo, Alanis Morissette, U2, DIE HARD, THE ROCK, A FEW GOOD MEN, THE A-TEAM and Charlie Sheen. Moreover, BREACH OF TRUST advocates that in the protection business, weakness results in loss, a war has no veil, and that a shadow sees all but says nothing. Overtly a political action thriller like ABSOLUTE POWER and AIR FORCE ONE without the VC-25A, BREACH OF TRUST has plenty to say in that it's also a cautionary tale about technology, facial recognition and curtailing the privacy in America, given that virtually everyone leaves a digital footprint courtesy of the vast number of cameras around the globe. Vast plotting, new characters, deep intrigue, epoxy binary liquid explosives, and bone crunching action gift BREACH OF TRUST universal appeal, carving a new groove in all things thriller. Nick Jordan is in play, and it's no longer a question of who the Body Man is, but a question of how far will he go to protect Democracy. Jump into the breach once more, and experience the monumental BREACH OF TRUST that tests the strength of a nation and drives the Body Man from the shadows of secrecy to a vortex of violence.

This is the follow-up to The Body Man where the main character, Nick Jordan returns as...., well, The Body Man, a position that is created to protect the position of the Presidency of the United States not just the President. In continuation from the first book, The Sanctum is determined to get to new President Collins in any way possible. New characters Luke Fuery, a former Navy SEAL and Talia, a Mossad agent, help lend a hand. This is a fast-paced, action-packed story that flows very well from chapter to chapter. As a GenX member, the author's use of 80s and 90s pop culture references make this a very fun book. Can't wait to read the third installment, Supreme Justice.

I was lucky enough to receive an advanced copy of Breach Of Trust from the author and wow, does he deliver in his second novel!

The Body Man has been entrusted to protect the Office of the Presidency since the Kennedy administration but that has never been more difficult than it is today. Not only are there external threats from The Sanctum, but internal threats as well that pose a threat to the Presidency and The Body Man himself..

Eric Bishop has another great novel, with all of the twists and turns you will never know who to trust.

Not sure why but I didn't enjoy this one as much as everyone else seems to have. Maybe my expectations were too high after The Body Man, but I thought this one just fell a little short for me. I felt like the beginning of the book had too much of a gap from The Body Man - too many things happened that I felt like we SHOULD know about but didn't. I even went back and skimmed The Body Man to make sure I hadn't forgotten anything. Anyway, this was just ok - I'm sure I'll continue with the series, but with a bit lower expectations.

A great follow up to the first book. The action continues and the pace doesn't let up. After taking a beating and dealing with betrayal requiring him to use all his considerable skills to stay alive, the man who has the President's life as his own life's mission displays why he has the job. Fans of Thrillers and Action will devour it and if you read the first one you will be pleased to see the second installment reaches and even raises the bar. Enjoy!

Eric Bishop delivered an absolutely amazing thriller with Breach of Trust! The Body Man is back in action hunting down the Sanctum and the action is non stop! Great character development, action throughout and the author does a great job adding quips and the adds a cliffhanger for the ages! One of the best thrillers of 2024, Eric Bishop has delivered a masterpiece of a thriller. Do yourself a favor and get this book! You will thank me later. Can’t wait to read the next one! 10/10!

riveting

The story continues in a most explosive way. The sanctum is out for revenge on the body man and the country. Dirty politicians and traitors are looking for power and money. Can the Body Man Stop them in time before dragging g our nation down? Lots of action and intrigue. I couldn’t put it down! Am ready for book three!

The second amazing book in this series. This time someone comes after the Body Man, the Sanctum has an ally in the inner circle of power and the Body Man has to go into offense. Fantastic characters, lots of action and a few twists and turns. I'm looking forward to Nick's next adventures.

BREACH OF TRUST is the second volume in Eric Bishop's "The Body Man" series. The plot is tight and fast-paced in "The Body Man" tradition, but BREACH OF TRUST brandishes a dark edge as Bishop explores deeper into the souls of the characters. We find even the strongest of personalities deal with demons that would bring a normal person to their knees. BREACH OF TRUST has fully established Eric Bishop as an author for everyone's must read list.
