I had the pleasure of meeting the writer/illustrator at a show. He was super nice. I didn't think I'd really enjoy this book, but it was so good. This contains a few short stories of Marvel superheroes as kids. The end of the book has some older, shorter comic strips. I really appreciated the humor in the book, especially in the comic strips.
Read the 2024 release assuming the series was new, so was surprised it was a collection of straps dating back as far as the early 2000s. Humor is slightly aged, especially in early chapters, and you can tell some material was made pre MCU (lots of focus on Spidey and the X-Men), but an overall fun read.
Talking about parts of the body: when John (3yo) heard the word “brain”, he said “Venom eats brains.” He remembered that from this book, which we read weeks ago.
