This is my third book by this author and I've loved them all.
We met Chase in Roping Love as a secondary character. I was so happy to read more about him.
In this book we meet Samantha who although beautiful lacks confidence. This is their story

Chase Ryan was a character I fell for and wanted to know better when he was a secondary character in Roping Love. Chase is all kinds of sweet, hot, and sexy all rolled up in a nice cowboy package.
While at a bar one night, he meets Samantha Cross who is at the bar to celebrate her thirtieth birthday and basically find a one night stand to get her through the next couple of months.
Their night of passion is hot and intense and maybe a little more than they both bargained for. Chase is immediately head over heals for Samantha but she isn’t looking for anything serious. In fact, she doesn’t want to know anything about Chase at all and refuses to call him by his name. Samantha wakes and leaves Chase in a hotel room with the intention of never seeing him again. What’s a guy to do when he’s met the girl of his dreams but doesn’t have her phone number or even know her last name? Sometimes in love, fate is definitely on your side. When Chase and his mother take their new neighbor an apple pie, Samantha is the person on the other side of the door.
To say she isn’t happy is an understatement. Samantha has some issues that she’s going to have to get over before she allows herself to fall in love and accept love from Chase, namely the seven year age difference and her fear that she isn’t a skinny girl.

Samantha and Chase are neighbors. Too bad they didn't know that before they spent a random hot sweaty night together. Before names are exchanged, Samantha dodges for cover. She celebrated her thirtieth birthday in a younger man's arms, and there's nothing wrong with that. At least Chase didn't mind, and his mind and body are on the lookout for one hot older woman he'd like to see again.
Age is just a number, and it takes Samantha by surprise in Ms. Hoffa's tale of "when love comes in the form of a hot cowboy". Heat, passion and laughter surround this tale as it unravels. There's no big black moments or tendon snapping tension. The characters are believable and share witty dialogue keeps the story moving, and the reader hoping. This author's ability to write a story that goes good with a rainy day, a glass of wine, and a fire, never fails. Any woman whose eyes have lingered on a younger man for a moment longer than they thought proper, think again, and see how Chase convinces Samantha that he's the guy that can sate her fire.

There's no big black moments or tendon snapping tension. The characters are believable and share witty dialogue keeps the story moving, and the reader hoping. This author's ability to write a story that goes good with a rainy day, a glass of wine, and a fire, never fails. Any woman whose eyes have lingered on a younger man for a moment longer than they thought proper, think again, and see how Chase convinces Samantha that he's the guy that can sate her fire.

I love stories that are short, sweet and to the point, but have a level of spice to keep me on the edge. And I get all that with Chasing Love by Tamara Hoffa.
I loved that there wasn't any bone curly tension or dark black secret lurking in the background.
Very simply put, Chase Ryan meets older women Samantha Cross, after a night of some hot sex, she disappears... He plans on finding her again.... and look there she is, his new neighbor. He lets her know he plans on having a relationship with her and she is reluctance because of the 7 year age difference. He sweetly pursues her.... till she finally succumbs to Chase's super sexy appeal.
The dialog between the characters, was witty and kept my interest through out the whole book. I can see myself coming back and reading this feel good book again and again.
Chasing Love is the 3rd book I have read by Tamara Hoffa and she has yet to disappoint me. She has become a must read author for me!

Samantha is a sweet, Christmas loving, bigger sized girl looking for a fresh start. Chase is a young, but responsible ranch owner looking to settle down. When they meet, they never expect to see each other again, but soon find that they not only will see each other again, but often.
I enjoyed Sam and Chase's sweet romance. This book was a quick, easy read for me.I would recommend it to anyone who likes a cowboy romance. I love the family connection between the Ryan brothers an I look forward to reading Chad's story next.

This sweet romantic novella follows the second Circle R Ranch brother, Chase and his determination to catch the right woman for him. The writing is good, the dialogue convincing and the action is hot.

I really loved this book, the characters were easy to have feelings for and the part i enjoyed the most was she is an ''older'' woman. Being an older woman myself it does me good to read stories like this as I believe the heart knows nothing of age and love blooms and grows as it decides.

Chase Ryan has taken over the family ranch after his brother's wedding. Everything is going great for him, being a coach for a little league team, teaching the school rodeo team, I mean what could be any hotter than a guy that has his stuff together and looks great? When a new owner starts to make changes to the ranch next door he starts to get a little concerned.
Samantha Cross is the new owner of the ranch next door to Chase's and she's opening up her own store in town. Celebrating her 30th birthday she decides she wants a great one night stand and then will get back to her daily living. What she didn’t bargain for was having a one night stand with her new hot and sexy younger neighbor. Chase wants a relationship and Samantha is nowhere near even thinking about one, but Chase is willing to chase after what he truly wants.
I was really disappointed when it ended. This could definitely be turned into a complete story as I was kind of left with some questions. With that being said, I still loved the story. The writing is good and the characters are so fun together. And let's just say that are not lacking any steam in the love department. This is a great love story about a one night hook up that involves a lot more emotions than just walking away.
My Favorite Moment: I loved it when Chase's mother met Samantha for the first time. Being friendly and bringing the neighbor pie never turned out more awkward. I think I laughed so hard I had tears.
"Samantha?" The name escaped his lips before he could get his brain to even register her presence.
Carolyn took one look at the deer in the head lights look on Samantha Cross' face and turned to see the dumbfounded expression on her son's. With a huge sigh she extended her hand to Chase. "Give me your keys."
Chase dug the keys from his pocket and deposited them in his mother's hand. She shoved the pie into his stomach and he caught it reflexively. "I will see you at home," she said. "If you can't find a ride, you can walk."

I want a Chase for my birthday please! Granted I am married but I won't tell if you won't :)
Chasing Love is book 2 in the Circle R Ranch trilogy and I loved it even more than book 1. This is about Chase and Samantha.
Sam is new to the area and it's her 30th birthday. She isn't looking for a life time relationship at this point in her life. She has a new business that she is trying to get off the ground and doesn't have time to invest in a new relationship. She is just looking for a lil stress release and a "happy birthday to me" present she finds it in the arms of Chase.
Chase is a lil jealous of his older brother Chance (who we met in book 1). He would love to meet his special someone to settle down with even though he is only 23 and still has a lot of years ahead of him. What he doesn't realize is love is only a stone throw away across the yard.
Watch the sparks fly, the passion ignite and the tempers flair with this fantastic story of love, laughter, and devotion. Age is just a number and size doesn't matter.
This is written as a multi pov and has some steamy bits and even had a heart twinge (teary eyed moment) for me as well.
For a novella, the characters were well developed and easy to become invested in. The characters dialogue was well done. The descriptions to details were written well enough that it was easy to visualize the happenings but was not overly done to cause the story to bog down and be boring. Great storyline and I would have loved to have had more of these two.
All in all, a nice way to spend a few hours. A wee bit longer than book 1 I believe.
Would I recommend this book? Yep!

She's single and an independent business woman. On the night of her thirtieth birthday she goes looking for Mr. One Night Stand...After all she doesn't need the mess of someone else in her life at this time. After meeting Chase in the local honkytonk, she hooks up with what she thinks is a sexy cowboy. Never realizing that Chase is the one man who won't take no for an answer. He''s determined to win her over even though she feels at thirty she's way to old for him at twenty three.
Can Chase convince her their love is strong enough for eternity? Can Samantha get over her issues and learn to trust that fate has other plans for her.
I found Tamara Hoffa's style of writing to be refreshing and well paced with a healthy dose of humor. The stories are full of great detail and just enough romance to satisfy everyone. I would recommend them to anyone with a love of cowboys, romance and HEA's. 5 stars

Another great short read about Chase and Samantha. It too was written in a way that you just wait to get through it. Chase has taken over the Circle R Ranch after Chance gets married and moves away. He finds the womb he ha been looking for as a one night stand and can't stop thinking about her but he did not get her number so now what does he do? When he soon finds out who Samantha is can he finally persuaded her to give him a chance or does she let age play a factor in her decision. Does someone set her straight on age is just a number.will Chase finally get the girl that he desires?

Will Chase finally find what a his brother has the love of a good woman? Does Samantha let age be a factor in how she lets her feelings for Chase transpire. Will these two work through their issues and let live take it's course? Such a great written short story that grands you and doesn't want to let you go.
