I learned a lot from this book, it was very in depth albeit repetitive at times.

I wish there had been a spot in the back of the book that listed all the reflex and acupuncture points together and their uses and contraindications for easy reference so I wouldn't have needed to skim through the book to find them in various chapters.

There were certain massage techniques described in the book that I kind of wish were demonstrated in the DVD.

Overall though, it was very informative and I feel more competent and comfortable massaging those who are expecting.

For a textbook, I guess it could have been worse. Very informational and not too hard to read with background knowledge. Lots of really great pictures and added snippets of info to make the reading a little more interesting. My only concern is that it is need of editing. There were quite a few mistakes, nothing hugely important, small things like, not having an "s" at the end of the word, or repeating a part of the sentence, "And then the, and then the" sort of thing. Also, somewhat curious if there is more recent/developments to make the information more current.
