An amazing sequel to Light and Shadow! All of the same amazing characters and so many more. The plot continues to leave me in awe. I love how much Sam and Sarah have grown over the span of both books.
Sam is one of the FMC’s and she is extraordinary. She has great power but is able to show restraint. I love that she’s not the typical stubborn, hot headed FMC. She is strong but also caring and smart.
Sarah is the wild card of the bunch and so funny. She heart is so big but her shell is solid. She may not have magic but she is also very strong.
Valios, Torrin, and Avathar are some of the best MMC’s a girl could ask for. They each have unique personalities and stories that grab your attention and pull on the heart strings. Kit is also an interesting addition to the group and super lovable.
The plot and characters are equally as interesting and they suck you right into the world. I’m so glad I got to ARC read and I can’t wait to get the physical copies 🖤

If book one was a fun read, book two was a theme park. The ups and downs kept me on my toes while I lost myself in this expanding world. The characters catch your heart and the relationships are believable. This was what I describe as a true ya novel, enjoyable for a wide audience but suitable for older teens. Can't wait to see what comes next!

A wonderful sequel to Light and Shadow. With all the twists and turns I just couldn't put this book down and devoured it in less than 24 hours! This is truly a beautifully written world with amazing characters and wonderful plot twists. I can't wait to see what happens next and will definitely recommend this saga to my daughter.

Great second installment! The writing is engaging. Really enjoying the continuing development of the characters and the storyline keeps getting better and better. A couple of plot twists that I did not see coming, too. Looking forward to book three!
