It had good content but I admit it was a lot of info and I lost motivation to read it. I would recommend skimming over some parts and reading the chapters and sections you are interested in.
The book puts into perspective how we cause or have relationship anxiety without knowing we are doing it, or even what that means in the first place. This book shines a light on some of my issues ive been known to do, trying to reassure me how to cope with it, providing me solid advice and to self reflect or to navigate through the self sabotage thoughts, so I can lead my life to happiness. Some passages seemed like minor repeats of dialogue that was in other chapters but overall it was a quick and easy read.
This is handy as a quick and simple reference/tool for therapists who works with ROCD and relationship anxiety (and couples!). It’s easy to read, gives direct information, and each chapter ends with an exercise to practice what was discussed. I have already recommended it to a client and find that the writing style is firm, yet friendly which I imagine would appeal to lots of readers looking for support around relationship anxiety.
This a really helpful and easy to read and understand book. I love that the author included case studies and exercises in every chapter, what helps comprehend each topic and reflect about them. I highly recommend it whether you struggle with anxiety or just want to have healthy relationships!
I wish I would have finished this earlier. It really opens your eyes to how anxiety in relationships work. Why they’re there and how to cope with the. If you’re struggling with relationship anxiety I recommend this book. I highly recommend it.
This is a must-read for anyone who struggles with relationship anxiety. I realized so much about myself while I worked through this book, and I'm thankful to have read it.
I found this book to be very helpful. I was very curious to know how this book could help me, I feel like I do have a little bit of relationship anxiety. I wanted to just find a resource that could help me. This book includes case studies that are used as examples, which I thought they were great in helping me as the reader understand how it can relate to me. I did finish book feeling like I have so much information now and I can’t wait to start putting in to practice so that I can become a better person.
I definitely recommend this for everyone to try. It never hurts to read this.
