This is book two in The No Fail Heroes series and it is Sean and Branna’s story and it is definitely a must read. Sean and Branna have history because not only did they grow up together but he was also her brother best friend and joined the military together only for Branna’s brother to be killed while on a mission. Sean was now a civilian after leaving the military and was going from job to job with no clear vision of where he wanted to go and when his friend and military buddy suggested that he came to Phail to see if he could help with some renovations and if it was a place that he could settle down in so Sean decided to drive while he thought out what he wanted to do next and that is when he came across a big dog chained to a abandoned house so Sean set him free and took him to the vets to be checked over and then he decided to keep him. Branna grieving the loss of her father who had been run over by a car and she knew that he had been murdered because she had a recording to prove it but the policeman that she spoke to wouldn’t believe her and she was dismissed so now she was all alone and knew that she would have to call Sean because he was the only one that would understand her devastation but before she could do that she realised that she was in serious danger and needed to hide and then get out of the burning pub before she was killed without being seen by anyone and then send Sean a message to see if he could help her. When Branna sent the message to Sean he arrived as quickly as possible to get her out of danger and now they were on their way to Phail to hide out while working with the FBI and Sean’s friends along with the town to keep Branna safe while they find and eliminate the threat and bring them to justice for her dad’s death and everything else that they had been involved in. Sean and Branna have always been attracted to each other and while on this dangerous journey there chemistry became unable to be denied and they fell in love along the way but would they be able to complete their mission and get the happiness and future together that they both want and deserved. Wow I absolutely loved this book and series so much and we are only on the second book and it is already so addictive and I can’t wait to read the next book in this amazing series.

Branna is most definitely worthy of the term heroine. She is determined to bring the strung-out thug who killed her father and very nearly her to justice. She is smart enough to collect evidence to use against him even as she is struggling to save her life. Despite her terror, she makes split second decisions that save her life and give Sean, a family friend and her not so secret crush, a chance to find her while her assailant cannot. As former military, Sean has the skills and the contacts that will help keep her safe until the dangerous thug and his gang are apprehended. As they rush to safety, it becomes clear to both Sean and Branna that they can no longer deny or hide the feelings they have for each other which are much deeper than friendship. Sean is counting on his old military friends and teammates to help him keep Branna safe in the small town of Phail, where hopefully they will gat a chance to build a future together.

Gotta love a small town like Phail, where everybody steps up to offer support, assistance and protection to those they consider their own by virtue of the fact that they are friends of one of their long time citizens. The fact that some of Phail’s new citizens seem to attract a great deal trouble is nothing they can’t handle given the skills and talents of the citizenry as a whole and the numerous contacts they have ready to assist. I also love their not so subtle recruitment tactics. The familar characters from other books written by this author that make an appearance in this book make it even more fascinating and enjoyable. I am eagerly waiting to read the next book in this series.

I highly recommend this book, and all of the books set in Phail, to readers who love a healthy dose of suspense and intrigue with their romance.

This was a great book. I loved Sean and Branna together.

When Branna was in deep trouble, all she could think of was texting Sean, her ex military friend of her deceased brother.

Sean was the supreme Protector and the fact that he had history with Branna and her brother, made that connection all the more potent. Big trouble was hitting hey from both sides and Sean wasn't having any of that. I really liked how he whisked in Anna got her away from there.

So well written, I enjoyed the other characters from past stories that helped to make this a full on story with depth and meaning, and especially having a feel good ending that I really enjoyed.

Great book and highly recommended!.

I have enjoyed reading book two from the series, catching up with old friends, seeing how things are going in Phail with regards to their plans, and getting to meet one of Troy's and Marcus's teammates. I loved that Sean and Branna had a history, it gave their relationship more depth and I enjoyed how open they were to things changing between them. Sean was so protective yet respectful and such a shoulder of support for Branna, she was such a strong and caring person, just who Sean needed to help him find his way in the world again. I loved the addition of Jabba, he was lovely and made me smile. I believed in Sean and Branna's connection and chemistry and I am looking forward to reading more from this series.

Branna has lost her brother, father, their pub and almost her life. A quick text brings her brother's best friend, and her old crush, to help her get away safely. They end up in Vermont where a lot of his old military team have come together in a town called Phail (fail). Loved the comical bits connecting with the town name and all the people that treat them like family. When the storyline brings danger, all the characters and more come together when it matters. Plenty of sassy remarks, a huge lovable dog, great personalities, vivid locales, fun business names, surprises, twists and deep feelings that kept the pages turning. Fantastic ending and looking forward to the next book and team mate joining them.

I loved No Going Back Book 2 of No Fail Heroes. Sean still had t found his place since he got out of the military, his buddy Troy was trying to get him to Phail. When he gets an SOS from Branna, he rushes to protect her. Now she’s in the run from the man who killed her father and burned down their pub. To keep her safe, Sean takes them to Phail and from the second they get there it feels like hime. The only thing they need to do is help the authorities catch the bad guys with the help from the group at Midnight Lake and the people of Phail. I loved the storyline and the characters. I can’t wait for more in this series. I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

Great addition to the series! I loved that Sean and Branna had a long history and found eachother again. Their connection was so strong and solid from the beginning. There was a little extra suspense in this one which I enjoyed. It was great to see how two people outside of the town of Phail fit in so easily. I love watching Troy's plans for his friends fall into place. This one was a definite page turner! I also enjoyed seeing the aftermath following the climax and how the characters moved forward. I can't wait for the next one!.

Sean... still finding his way after leaving the military. Branna... his friend from growing up in Miami, and also his best friend's little sister. Big trouble finds her when she's all along, and she reaches out to him in an SOS text. Sean's friend Troy, and his friends in Phail, work together to keep them safe and neutralize the criminals after them. I love the sense of humor of the Phail town residents, but even more their sense of community and protectiveness. There is a lot of loss between Sean and Branna and each story breaks your heart but together they start to heal one another. When Branna needs help she messages Sean who drops everything to help her and keep her safe. Such a beautiful setting with a town full of people you'd want as friends and chosen family. Just enough action and suspense to the story mixed in with love and family to make this a quick and easy favorite. Ready for the next entry in the series!.

Superb:
This was an outstanding book that hit all the high spots. It was full of emotion, danger and sweet and tender romance. I loved Sean and Branna together and was so happy that they got to start over together.
It was wonderful being back in Phail and it was so heart warming seeing the camaraderie and affection that existed between this group of friends. I can't wait to return to this small town with its crazy name yet amazing people!

No Going Back by Jemi Fraser is a good, and enjoyable former military hero small town blue collar romantic suspense read. The story has a great entertaining world building story line that is unpredictable, and has an easy to read story line. The characters are great, and they have great chemistry. This story is a very entertaining action packed page turning romance read with a happily ever after ending. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I really enjoyed this read, we get action and suspense at the very beginning and once Sean has Branna the dangers changes from right there to nipping at their heals.
We get forced proximity which leads Branna and Sean to admit their feeling and whilst Sean is protective of Branna she is also a force to be reckoned with, we also see friends and family aka the town come together as well as provide some comic relief.

Jemi Fraser has done it again. Another fantastic book that I couldn't put down. I love all of Jemi's characters but I think Sean & Branna might be my favourites... and Jabba, of course!

Sean and Branna's story takes us back to the town of Phail, Vermont where we're reunited with Troy & Piper, Marcus and the Midnight Security crew. It is the perfect mix of love, laughter and suspense bound together by friendships, old and new.

"No Going Back" does not disappoint. Now comes the hard part, waiting for the next book in the series!!

When Branna is literally fleeing for her life the only one she can think of to save her is her brother’s friend Sean, who is quick to figure out her code, come running, and bring her to special place where they look out for and take care of each that I’ve come to enjoy reading about. She keeps considering leaving where she’d have no protection away from those who are trained to help. Along the way Sean rescues an abandoned dog who gives back healing and love in return.

I enjoyed reading this book. Once I started reading No Going Back I didn't want to put it down. The characters are great and the storyline hooked me from the start. I don't want to spoil this book for anyone so I won't give details. The book blurb gives good information. I recommend reading this book. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
