In the twenty-eighth book of the Critter Club series, Marion welcomes a new student and befriends fluffy alpacas!
Marion is excited to welcome a new student to her horseback riding class. But when the new student claims to hate horses, Marion isn’t so sure if they can be friends anymore. Can a little bit of alpaca yarn mend their rocky start?
With easy-to-read language and illustrations on almost every page, The Critter Club chapter books are perfect for beginning readers.
I'm just so happy to be back in this series! This book follows Marion as she meets a new girl at her horse lessons. The girl is cold and boderline rude so she gets rubbed wrong. However, she lives on a farm and the mom invites the Critter Club to come watch them shear the alpacas and we find out all is not as it seems. I love this series so much!
In this book, Skylar, a new student at horseback riding, is kind of rude to Marion. But then, Skylar's mom invites the critter club to see their alpacas get shorn. Then Skylar is kind and apologizes, and even made a bunch of cat toys for the critter club.
(4.5 stars because we didn't like when Sklay was rude.)
