HOLY MOLEY! The art in this comic book is amazing and absolutely stunning! It’s very fluid and drawn with a cool stylized flair, while still being faithful to the original cartoons art style. Yet the style the artist used in this book is actually much better than the style the show is in! I know regular show isn’t exactly something you’d think of as having amazing art but I assure you this comic will make you rethink that. The art is just SO GOOD! I hope the one artist who did all this work got a raise once she put this on the studios desk.

Also the plot is surprisingly really good. It’s not super emotional or deep, or groundbreaking. However, most times when cartoons get turned into comic books, the writers tend to be very lazy and either do nothing to differentiate the comic from the show, or tell extraordinarily lazy plots that just bank on not trying because since it’s characters from a popular cartoon they assume audiences will like it no matter what. Or they just make the comic into one big fanservice joke. THIS DOES NOT DO THAT AT ALL! Instead it actually tells a pretty interesting plot about skips being stuck in a time loop all caused by the idiotic antics of dumb and dumber, aka Mordecai and Rigby who basically act as Ted and Bill level idiots from Ted and Bills stupid and dumb adventures in this. It’s an enjoyably lighthearted read and the plot kept me invested right till the end.

Even if your not a fan of the show or hell you’ve never seen a single episode of the show I’d still highly recommend giving this a read, as the plot is simple enough well still being really good, that you don’t need to know these characters from the show for this to work as a standalone.

The only way I wouldn’t recommend this is if you REALLY hate the humor of the show and it ticks you off as this does have some of the humor from the show featuring Mordecai and Rigby doing in character idiotic things, so if that ticks you off then yeah I could understand you not wanting to read this.

Also sadly it’s like 20 dollars, or it was when I got it which is a bit steep to pay but still totally worth every cent.

OTHER THAN THAT…what are you doing?! Go buy this underrated gem and give it the love it deserves NOW!

HOOOLY SHITTTT

Reading this book made me realize how much of a cool character Skips is (also made him my favorite Regular Show character :]). All he wanted was to have a vacation with his buds and not have to worry about saving the world from some creature under a geyser. Sure, he helps save the world all the time with Mordecai and Rigby, but the book made the whole trope (?) more unique as he is stuck in a time loop.

The book made the characters likable. For instance, I didn't like the time cop at 1st, but the 3rd issue fixed all of that since he was more tolerable. Characters in the actual show such as Benson weren't out of character.

The plot was amazing. Characters were well written. I cannot forget about the art too, It was pretty unique!

(this is a crappy review lmao. the book wasnt though)

As a huge Regular Show fan, I just can't help but love this. If you don't like the random triply stoner humor of the show, then this probably isn't something for you to even bother with. I however love it!
