Tara is a young witch who lives in Tarbet. She has a special gift, she sees the past of people, feels their emotions and hears their voices. She struggles with this talent. She isn’t convinced, that it’s something needful to have.
Tara is too trustful and due to some bad mistakes, the coven has excluded her.
Her ability is driving her mad. She begins with drugs and alcohol until finally she gets fired from her job at the Tarbet Hotel and her parens kicks her out. Nobody is willing to help her.
Now Tara is backpacking in The Trossachs National Park. She tries to avoid people to find peace of mind.
There she stumbles over the body of a dead woman…
I won’t spoil any more from here. It’s more exciting to read it yourself. I promise it’s worth your time.

This book is not the prequel. It is misnumbered. I'm not sure where in the series it goes, but as it's a short novella, I'm guessing it goes between the stories. Other than that, it was meh. Nothing really to write about. Just a short story telling about one of the witches accepting her powers. Just was confused because I apparently read it out of order.

This is a very well-written story of a young woman coming to grips with her past and trying to move forward with her life. I found myself pulled into Tara’s life and really cared about her. Not to mention the beautiful place the story took place. I can’t wait to read the next one in The Witch Club series.

Tara’s story is intriguing and had me hooked from the first paragraph. It was another amazing story from the mind of Felicity Green. I’m going to have to reread the series from the beginning. Totally worth recommending.

Who killed Olivia and why??? He turned himself in??? I enjoyed this story and recommended the book.

A great story to learn more about Tara and her gift. A very quick read. Can't wait to read book 2.
