Palm Island #6

Devil's Own

Rate this book
There’s nothing Devil loves more than giving Angel whatever he wants, especially when it’s what he wants too. The only question is… Does Raven want them?

Of course, I’ve noticed Angel and Devil noticing me. I’ve felt their eyes and the deep pulse of their heated wanting. I’ve also seen plenty of men coming and going from their house all summer long, year after year, and I don’t want to be one in a long line.

The energy of Palm Island is so strong, it’s hard not to get swept up in it sometimes. Temporary lust, the hedonistic thrill of excess… I’m only human after all. But something stops me every time I want to give in and let go.

I’ve managed to avoid getting too close to Angel and Devil… until now. Months of endless, heated dreams and the long, lonely slog of the winter are threatening to break my resolve. And all the tarot cards and tea leaves in the world couldn’t prepare me for what they’re really like.

What if all the three-ways are just because they’re desperately searching for something? What if soulmates can come in thirds? What if I let go and see what happens?

Just because I play the part of a psychic, doesn’t mean I know a damn thing about relationships or how we’re going to make this one work…

So happy the Raven got his HEA, this was so swoony at times 😍

I love how KM Neuhold writes polyamory, no one ever feels like a spare part and it's never preachy or full of justifications.

I do really hope that we eventually get Lyric's story though, I love that guy!

Not even sure how I feel about this book - I didn’t love it or hate it really. When the book started Raven already wanted Angel & Devil and they already wanted him. So no build up at all really. And a ton of sex scenes.

Loved!

Loved, loved, loved this throuple romance, hoping it's not the final Palm Island book as I'd love Lyric's story too.

KM writes excellent polyamory and here's no exception. I loved how reticent Raven was because he knew he'd catch feelings.

I loved how much Angel and Devil went out of their way to connect with him separately as well as a pair.

Most of all, I loved how they celebrated the joy of finding someone else who helped make their already rich lives, even more full.

Oh and the sex is smoking hot as you'd expect from this author and always with an excellent emotional connection.

A wonderful and gripping poly story with fantastic characters. This book must be read in order with the rest of the series and is not a standalone.
I loved the unravelling of some of the mystery surrounding Raven and getting to know him better.
Perfectly paced and so passionate, this might be my new favourite in the series!!

This series went downhill for me since the book before this. The story lines are boring, and I’m missing that little bit of extra that neuhold used to be able to deliver to make the characters so special. It was boring and the characters were flat. It was very very heavy on the sexy times and very low on the story and character development. I didn’t feel or believe the connection between devil and angel. I did not feel anything for any of the charachters and could care less if they end up together.

Soooo sad because this series started so original and promising

I was completely blown away by the chemistry between Devil, Angel and Raven, the three of them complement each other perfectly and the sweetness they share is truly inspiring. Raven the mysterious empathic psychic of Palm Island, has long had eyes for Devil and Angel the beautiful married couple who have shared their lives for many years together but have been searching for someone else to complete their relationship. Lots of steam, heat and sweetness is shared between these three beautiful souls, shows true love cannot be bound by numbers, barriers or limits because True love just doesn’t work that way.

Each and every Palm Island book has shone in many different ways and the characters, their partners and their stories will stay forever imprinted on my heart.

I’m sorry, but this was so boring. There was zero conflict, and tbh I never really felt the chemistry between all three of them. This book was built up too much, and I was expecting more. I almost DNF’d at 75%, but I did a quick button-tap skim through to finish it.

I was a smidge nervous going into this book as I’m very particular about my MMM romances and I was hoping it would be one that I enjoyed. It absolutely was and I ended up loving it!! This has been a wonderful series from the beginning and I’m so glad I read it. I listened to the audio for this one and the narrator did a great job!

I loved Raven as a character from the previous books and I loved seeing his POV and where his “psychic” abilities come from. Was super neat to think back and look at some scenes with a different perspective! We didn’t get to know Angel and Devil very much in the previous books so it was great to see them and their dynamic together as a couple.

I loved how Raven fit into this throuple and how there was zero jealousy whatsoever between all characters. Never did a character feel left out or I felt like a couple was more important than the throuple and I absolutely loved that. We got sexy scenes with all three of the them together but then in all the different pairings as well and it really added to their relationship I feel.

If you’re a fan of MMM romances and like to have any and all angst outside of the relationship then I recommend this book! And would recommend reading the series in order! Loved their HEA!

Rating: 4
Steam: 3
PoV: multiple, 1st person
Genre: contemporary romance, MMM
Main tropes: pining, close proximity, found family

I feel like this pairing has been teased for most of the series and it was definitely a highly anticipated read for me! Raven, Angel and Devil's story was a really sweet read with lots of pining, emotions and a touch of kink.

Oh Raven, seeing how he'd been pining and keeping his distance to Angel and Devil just to keep his heart safe made my heart ache. These men had been dancing around each other for a long time, and Raven didn't want to risk his heart for a one-night thing, thinking he wouldn't get to have more with Angel and Devil.

I loved how patient Angel and Devil were with Raven though, letting him set the pace and it was great to see how his walls slowly came down. They had some fantastic chemistry and with the attraction between all three of them, it was hard to grasp how they'd not given in earlier - their relationship definitely felt inevitable. I was so invested in their relationship, and I adored how careful and sweet their flirting and approaches were at first.

I have to admit I was expecting more about the reason why Raven was so hesitant around the couple, it felt like there was something from his past that made him keep his walls up, but it wasn't really brought up. I loved the layers to Raven's character though, he was so intuitive and a lot more attentive than the other characters seemed aware of, and I enjoyed his PoV a lot.

Devil's Own was a fantastic (for now) ending to the series, and I loved to finally get Raven's perspective! As usual with this series it was an entertaining story full of friendships, banter and found family vibes. I'm really going to miss these men and their little community - I will keep my fingers crossed for any chance to revisit Palm Island and seeing its island magic at work again!

Beautiful ending (for now only-hopefully there is more to come later on ) to the Palm Island series. The dynamic between Raven, Devil, and Angel was incredible. K.M. Knows how to write Poly books!! It never feels like the story between the 3 MMC becomes one sided. The way they are all fully involved with one another is absolutely beautiful. I love that we get to catch up with some of the other couples as well.

Plot: 4.5

Raven has been attracted to Devil and Angel since seeing them. They have also been attracted to him, but they are letting him set the pace for anything between them. Raven doesn't believe he can have a genuine relationship with them; he figures it will just be a one-time thing, and he isn't sure he can safeguard his heart from them for just one night.

This is the story I have been waiting for since I first started reading this series, and it didn't disappoint at all. Raven, Devil, and Angel are so good together. Watching Raven begin to trust them and realize they could have more than one night together, Devil and Angel showed him they would protect his heart at all costs.

2.5 from me. Just finished this and honestly it’s meh. It was better than Easy and Lux’s story, but barely. It still wasn’t great. I didn’t care for Devil and Angel still wanting to be in an open relationship even after they bring in Raven. That’s just a personal preference.

There doesn’t feel like a real deep connection between these three. We still don’t really know anything about Devil and Angel. It’s a lot of sexy times. And that wasn’t great. What’s with all the precum? Do men really leak precum all over when aroused? Like so much it’s pooling places? I need some more realistic scenes at this point I think.

The epilogue was blah and really not necessary. Really what was the point. I thinks time this author leaves the island for a mainland vaca as this has become stale and a bit rinse and repeat. Whatever reviewer wrote this was an exciting and gripping story never read this. I call shenanigans.

I do look forward to the authors new series/mafia venture.

“Who ever said that soulmates could only mean two.”

Raven is not just a goth but he’s also “goth fabulous, darling”. He knows that Angel and Devil want him but he is very cautious with them as he doesn’t want to be just another man passing through their bedroom. It takes patience and a lot of time for Angel and Devil to show through actions and words that they are extremely serious about Raven and the feelings they both have towards him.

Their patience and perseverance pays off as Raven slowly but surely lowers his defensive walls and gladly accepts the inevitable, the three of them together forever. The chemistry between these three wonderful characters is scorching, whether it’s as a couple or a throuple, and there’s plenty of steamy scenes interspersed with some sweet and tender moments. Their road to an HEA is a long one with plenty of feels and just a bit of angst thrown in to keep things interesting. It leads to an HEA that left me smiling and with a full and happy heart for these delightful men.

Of course the beloved Island characters from the previous books all make appearances and provide a bit of light relief in this very enjoyable and engaging read.

Oof. I loved this. It was this wonderful mix of filthy and sweet and it really gave me a little bit of everything.

We’ve watched Raven pine for Angel and Devil throughout the whole series. I’ve been wanting to push him in their direction so many times! But good things come to those who wait and man, were these guys good together. Raven is just so soulful. He has so many layers he never shows anyone. I really enjoyed getting to know him more. Angel and Devil are a sure fire unit, but they more than make room for Raven.

This was a delightful read. I feel like Neuhold saved the best for last.

I absolutely love this series. Raven gets his HEA. All the tension between Devil, Angel and Raven finally comes to a head. Such great characters and an Island that seems so real. Makes you want to find a place such as Palm Island. The whole island is filled with long lasting friendships, funny antics and a great history.

This book was so damn well written. I’ve been waiting for this book forever, and it was so worth it. The pining on Raven’s side, the determination on Angel’s and Devil’s… The way they coaxed Raven toward him…

Also, that scene in Angel’s shop, the rope talk… O M G.

ENG-So well well well...well was this the book I was most looking forward to in the series? Clearly!

With Devil's Own, K.M Neuhold finally gives us the long-awaited story of Raven, Demon and Angel. That book is awesome. I was already very intrigued by Raven, Demon and Angel and finally discovering them was just awesome.

I love MMM and I knew for a fact that this one was going to be hot. And that was the case. This MMM was as hot as hell.

There are a lot of sex scenes (as is the case in the whole series) and the ones are simply brilliant.

It's hot, it's soft, it's sexy, it's sensual, in short, sex scenes like K.M Neuhold have the secret. And in Devil's Own, we enjoy ourselves from the first page to the last.

I loved coming back to Palm Island and meeting all the characters from the previous volumes, it was a bit bittersweet to say goodbye to this group of friends and this island but I really liked this series.

Raven, Demon and Angel 's story is simply touching and this trio works perfectly. The balance is well respected and even if it's a couple who adds a third, Devil's Own is a love story between three men who love each other more than anything. The relationship between Demon and Angel is magnificent and Raven comes to enhance it.

In summary, a steamy and beautiful romance. An excellent MMM.

I have been waiting for Raven’s book since this series started and although I did enjoy getting to know Raven and the beginning worked for me, the middle and end was meh. Those of you who have been around from the beginning know that there had been something stirring between Raven and husbands Devil and Angel. This seemed to give us the explanation and the degree of their feelings. I felt like the beginning was well paced. It didn’t seem rushed and we get to know Raven. He really is on the outside looking in a lot. He didn’t have someone close to confide in like the other pairs. He was lonely and I felt that.

Angel and Devil seemed to really complement each other and I could see how they all worked together. The steamy scenes were hot, but I got a little whiplash when most of the book Raven was super hesitant and then he seemed to be all in and love confessions were made. I wish the pacing was more gradual and there was more emphasis in the emotional connection over sexual.

All in all this was okay for me. The anticipation just had me wanting more. I am super bummed that this is a tentative ending. I was really looking forward to getting Lyric’s story. He just seemed to be barely mentioned and easily forgotten in this. So here’s me hoping we get something down the line.

Man I have loved Palm Island! Everything about it was just so charming and fun. I am going to miss this world so so much but I hold out hope we’ll see these men again at some point.

Angel, Devil, and Raven had super intense chemistry and the banter between them was on point! I loved getting to know Raven and watching him drop his fortress like walls. I also loved the glimpse of my other favorite Palm Island guys especially their hilarious antics… naked beach yoga anyone?!?

I really love well done poly romance and KM has proven again and again that she is masterful at handling polyamory. Devil and Angel had such a solid romance and you could tell how in tune they were. To be totally honest though I wish there was some tiny bit of angst there. It’s hard for me to fathom there wouldn’t be one fleeting moment where one of them would struggle with adding someone else into their dynamic and what would happen to them if something went wrong. Humans are imperfect and the rock solid not even ever talked about changing dynamic between Angel and Devil took some of their realness away. Now that is for sure a personal opinion but it nagged at me a few times when the only person working through anything at all was Raven.

Overall this was a sweet, steamy, fun, and sassy love story between three men who are clearly are meant to be together! As always I am obsessed with the carousel and all it symbolizes. Thank you KM for taking us along into your incredible stories!

Angel and Devil have a wonderful loving relationship that has always had a gap. When they meet Raven, they know he is their missing piece, but they never push, and the three of them keep a delicate balance of obvious lust for years. Raven was afraid for his heart because he knew once he started them, he couldn’t stop, and the couple was afraid to scare him away for good. When Raven finally gives in to what he desires, he is welcomed, but they have to figure out what that looks like for the three of them.

OPINION: This is one of my favorite series, and I hate the idea of it ending. More, please!! Some polyamory books feel uncomfortable, but this is written with so much reverence between the three of them that you want what they have. I love all the characters, and honestly, I could read about everyone on Palm Island for thousands of more pages. This book didn’t disappoint me they forged a path that was perfect for them. Like all of these books, they are low-angst and have plenty of fun. KM Neuhold hits on all the notes like always; read this book. In fact, read the whole series.

SPICE: So much spice, wonderful wonderful spice. I am here for all the spice and there was some great kink involved too.

This is throuple romance, featuring Raven, Angel and Devil, and is book six in the Palm Island series.

Devil loves giving Angel whatever he wants, but now they both want Raven—and Raven isn’t sure if he wants to be another one of their flings and risk his heart. After months of resisting temptation, Raven starts to wonder if what they’re offering could be more than just lust, and if soulmates might come in threes.

Raven is such a gorgeous character. I love how he can reads everyone so well and he deserved to find his soulmates. Devil and Angel were completely enamoured with Raven too, and there was spice between all of them, it was also sweet and made me cry at one point.

This is the final book for the series, for now. I’m wanting a book for Lyric so bad. Fingers crossed!

Things to expect in this book are:
Book 6 in series
MMM romance
Throuple
Psychic x Est couple
Long term crush
Years of pining
Dom/sub vibes
Fem MC in lingerie & skirts
Spicy times & dirty talk
Rope play & DP
They call him kitten/little bird
All in
Found family
HEA

"Angel and Devil, light and dark, soft and strong—the perfect complement to each other in every way"

The OFFICIAL/UNOFFICIAL end of Palm Island?!? Well for now at least... In the author's own words "Don’t worry though, the island is patient. She’ll be waiting whenever I’m ready to return.".

"At Last", Raven, Devil, and Angel got their HEA. We knew they would, it was just a matter of when/how that was the mystery. This story did not disappoint. So many things were revealed (no spoilers here, you must read this book to find out).

It was so good to see all the happy couples, from the prior books, make an appearance. Lyric still needs an HEA. Hopefully, in the not so distant future, Palm Island will reach out to Kyleen again with more stories to tell.

All the books in this series were my favorite, lol, don't ask me to pick just one because I can't. This one was at least in the top six 😉.

Throughout the entire Palm Island series I kept wishing for Raven's story and I'm glad to say that the long wait didn't disappoint!
The way this book was written was so in tune with Raven's feelings, it gave me goose bumps, everything just felt right.

I loved the way Devil and Angel considered Raven's feelings and pushed just the right amount. They all brought their own personal traits into the relationship which made the connection really balanced, which I love to read in a poly book. And the heat and sexual tensions were through the roof!! This book is in my poly top three right now! I encourage everyone to go read this!

Thank you for writing this!

I absolutely loved this story. It feels like I’ve been waiting for Raven’s story for forever but it was so worth the wait. These three just worked together so well. I loved getting to know more about all of the characters and I absolutely loved seeing some of the mysteries solved. This whole series has been so wonderful. I love the found family and all of the different characters. They are all so different and yet they all fit together. This is a fantastic series that will definitely be on my reread list. Here’s hoping for more adventures on Palm Island.

What a beautiful story.
In true KM style, this poly romance will capture your heart.
With no angst and amazing intimate scenes, in Devil's Own we can read about how three different personalities can merge into a unit, and what's best is that each of them don't force the hand of fate. I love how Angel and Devil are patient and willing to give Raven the time he needs.
Also, there's a rope scene!!

Okay

I just felt Angel only wanted Raven and didn't care so much for his already husband Devil.
So many time its just Raven and Angel getting it on, Devil didnt dance with Raven on there wedding.
Raven seemed to make an effort with Devil not Angel, Devil had to be the one wstching or making the effort

A bit sad considering how long Devil and Angel have been together

Some make it easy to see the connection and even if they have one on one time with the other, this one didnt work felt sorry for Devil.

Ravens book had been teased for a while now in other stories so I was excited to get this on my kindle. TBH though I am a little disappointed. One minute raven wasn’t sure about his feelings, next he was all in, albeit with a small time jump. I don’t know, just didn’t get into it like the other stories
