This book was fantastic!
In this follow up to Ink Fine Lines you pick up right were the last one left off. I love the authors writting style. Its unique and refreshing. Mrs. Roccaforte took paranormal to a whole new level. She seamlessly weaves humor into an other wise dark gritty storyline. Some artist use paint or sculpt to make a beautiful canvas or stature. This author uses her words to create a materpiece of literature.
Each character has evolved with such depth and growth. The story is twisted and full of wtf moments. From one chapter to the next you will be captured to the fullest extent. You truly will not be dissapointed in this book. I urge everyone that has read Fine Lines to pick this up asap

I am a huge Stephen King fan so I love a story that gives no hint to what's around each corner. This book is exactly that!! I read this book in a day and a half because I could not stop turning the pages. Bella Roccaforte writes a good mystery/paranormal ! The first book had a few flaws and a few slow points but this one flows like the rapids!! The book has a little of everything required for a great book. This is book 2 and picks right up where the first book let off. I can't wait for the conclusion ! I love all genre in my reading. This is a great edition to my mystery/paranormal reading library! Loved it! I sat read it!!

I was so very lucky to get to beta read this book. I loved INK: Fine Lines but with Vanishing Point, Bella outdid herself. She took an out of this world story and elevated it to a level that I never could have imagined even existed. Shay's nightmares are bad enough, but when they take over her waking hours, nobody is safe.

*Warning: may contain spoilers* This is book 2 and picks up right where book 1 ended so read in order.

As it opens with Shay in the hospital after having been shot, there's a lot that everyone around her seems to be keeping from her. First, Aiden - who apparently shot Shay - has once again pulled a disappearing act from Shay's life. It's alluded to that he'd dead. Some seem to know that he is in fact still alive as they keep referring to him in the present tense. The police seem to be breathing down Shay's neck and everyone is tiptoeing around her. No one wants to tell her the truth, everyone treats her like a fragile little doll and almost every guy around her seems to be pining for her for some reason or another.

This one goes a bit more into what I believe may be quantum physics. Here me out...
As Shay 'disappears' she actually enters another plane of existence. One that's filled with death, horror, and those who are in fact dead. Here she sees her sister again -the one that's killed herself. There's a hint as to what she may have done to Aiden in the past, and I have an idea, but it doesn't go beyond a hint. With the help of McNab, a parapsychologist and his mind reader security guard, Eli goes in and tries to bring her out, but all he sees is her ripping out Aiden's heart. He crosses back over without her, as she would not go with him. Eventually she finds her own way out by herself. She crosses another plane and ends up in Aiden's house in his room. When she wakes up she has a whole new outlook on life. Instead of being a helpless victim, she decides to take the car that was gifted to her, get what money she could out of her own bank account (from her comic doing so well), get new clothes and take off for a bit.

I think this one is about Shay finding herself. She finally stands up to her father, and while she liked that earlier in the book Eli kind of "found himself/some courage" to at least kiss her with a passion that told her she was his, she didn't just cower and accept that he was it for her. She knows she has to find her own way in life. Eli's POV can't seem to grasp this concept. McNab tries to tell him that she doesn't need anyone and it is in fact Eli that needs HER. "You need her to be weak; you need to feel needed."

Thank you McNab! Thank you for saying exactly what I was thinking. I liked Eli in book 1 but now not so much. He just sees Shay as a helpless little girl who can't take care of herself. Just like her father. Couldn't stand that dope, either. He's too "I'm a former police commissioner and I know what's best for my little girl", etc...

I like that Shay is slowly edging toward not choosing between Aiden and Eli, but that she's choosing neither. So what if she dated both? No one cares when it's a guy choosing between two girls, so knock it off with the double standard already! Personally I hope she chooses neither one and stands on her own two feet.

Things seem to be coming together, after she's cleared of all the murders and her comic is making money. However, a crazed stalker fan is putting the kibosh to all that. "Bailey", an obsessed fan from book 1, is making things super creepy, and her friend Trish isn't helping matters by keeping the secret of Eli and the now dead stripper's car accident (what kind of 'best friend' keeps that kind of secret??) and not letting her meet her new young hook up "Billy". If you ask me Billy and "Bailey" are the same guy.

There's a big cliffhanger at the end when it seems the detective who wants her to fry for all the murders is presented with what he wants...or does he? WTH Roccaforte, why ya gotta do me like that??

So after the total mind f*** in book 1 we get another superb one in book 2!!
Way to go Bella , I am so hooked I cannot even think straight. I am trying to piece this all together and figure out who is who and what their purpose is.

So we ended book 1 on a very disturbing note , did Shay kill Aiden , was it even Aiden , was it even Shay ?? Real life or dream ?? Shay is now in the hospital after having been shot , by who ?? Possibly Aiden ?? Aiden is missing and the rest of the gang is trying hard to figure out what the hell is going on. When the paranormal side starts to come out of this I do get confused , I do not understand that stuff , so I am with Eli and Harry , it just sounds crazy. But there has to be an explanation for this. The deeper we get into this story the more people become affected by the Spector. Carl is trying his best to protect Shay but the emotional wear and tear is almost too much for him. He needs a break, during this break Shay goes missing. In the long span of time that Shay is missing Eli is subjected to many of these paranormal happenings in his own house. He hears voices , he is in a weird trance and there is some unexplained things that go on. Carl and McNab are trying to test things and with the help of their team track down Shay. Where is Shay this whole time ?? Good question , is she sleeping and dreaming , is she really in another realm ?? The things happening to her while gone , are they really happening ?? Who is drawing these other comic panels ?? Just so many questions in this book and when Shay finally comes home , we get no answers, but she is in rare form hell bent on being independent and not needing anyone. This only takes her so far before she finds herself in major trouble again , where is she now and who has her ?? Stay tuned for book 3 !!

NO WAY , that did not just happen again.......
Again this is not my normal read but I cannot stop reading and wanting more of this series.

I actually found myself getting more into the story in this second book. After the first book, which i found very hard and confusing to follow, i found that the story has evolved a lot in this book. In book 2 we find Shay waking up in hospital after Aiden apparently shot her twice but no one knows where Aiden is and the cops believe that he is dead and Shay killed him. Lots of people Shay is close to are ending up dead and Detective Glass likes Shay for all eight murders.

There is so much to this story that i believe that was one of the reasons why it can be a little confusing but i thoroughly enjoyed this book. I felt like the story starting making sense and i understood more about the paranormal part. I'm looking forward to reading the next one as Shay is in such a sticky situation that i can't see any way out for her so i'm really intrigued to see how this story continues.

Damn damn double damn! I thought book one was intense .... I had no idea! Things have gone from bad to much worse for Shay as the bodies keep piling up and there seems to be no end or answers in sight. Unable to remember why she's waking up in the hospital things spiral further out of control as the Specter makes it abundantly clear he wants her all to himself. And it's safe to say by the end of the book Shay has definitely jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire. Again there were a few parts that were a little confusing but I still really enjoyed the book. I can't wait to see how much farther down this twisted rabbit hole we will go in book three! With so many mysteries to solve and so many questions unanswered I am very much looking forward to the next book and in my opinion this one is absolutely recommended.

I love this series so much. It's not like any others out there. Shay is still being hounded by the detective, but this time it's about what happened with Aiden at the end of book 1. No one knows where he is, if he's dead or alive, except for McNab. A lot more paranormal stuff goes on in this book (don't want to post exactly what because I hate posting spoilers, but with that said, IT'S FREAKING AWESOME). Another GREAT cliff hanger ending, that will definately leave you waiting (im)patiently for the next book to come out. Amazing story Bella. I was lucky to Beta read this book for her, in exchange for an honest review.

Oh where do I start? Oh yes, exactly right where Fine Lines ends! Shay's wild ride continues. This is a paranormal story unlike any other. Murders are continuing to happen and the Specter keeps appearing. Aiden is gone and Eli is still trying to protect Shay. However, Shay realizes she is strong and independent. I can't say too much without giving the story away and I cannot spoil it. Definite page turner. Crazy amazing continuation of this story. But reader beware....the book has another cliffhanger, like WTF JUST HAPPENED! Bella leaves you screaming for more! Be ready for Abstraction....you're gonna need it!

I wish I would have reread the first in the series before reading this for the first time. It's been too long to completely remember what all took place in the first story. There are at times, reminders of what happened but it is still a bit foggy for me. But based on what I read, I enjoyed this. I love that the main character is a bad-ass woman. I love this author's writing style and that she likes to use swear words. I will most likely purchase the 3rd book.

** Free e-copy of this book provided by the author in exchange for an honest review **

This review has been a long time in the making. I started reading the book several months ago and life got in the way and unfortunately, I had to put it down. Yesterday, I had the extreme pleasure of being able to pick it back up and I'm so glad that I did.

I have read all of Bella's books and enjoyed each one, but none more than Vanishing Point. The story picks up right where Fine lines left off with a string of unsolved murders and Shay the #1 suspect. But then the plot picks up and the story kicks into overdrive and it goes from great to simply amazing. Bella's books just get better and better.

All of our favorite characters are back! Well, most of them anyway ;) McNab and Carl (who are personal favorites of mine), Eli, Aiden, Gabriel, Detective Glass, the Specter, Trish...all here for our personal reading enjoyment. I mean, does it get any better than Trish?! My favorite exchange in the book is when Trish answers the phone at work and it's Eli...again. She let's him have it like only Trish can. I seriously laughed out loud. And that ending...Holy Cliffhangers! There is no way you will read this book and not feel an immediate need to continue this series and this author.

Awesome. Just Awesome. I will definitely be recommending INK: Vanishing Point, and the rest of the series as well, to everyone I know!

Oh my God - Oh my God - Oh my God!!
I think my heart is not able to take anymore. I bit all my nails during reading this book and my heart rate went out of the roof! After reading the first installment I was interested enough to continue reading, but MY GOD this book is intensive!
I really would like to know what happens to Shay and what does this "your handiwork" for Glass means but I really need to collect some courage before reading the next episode of Crazyville *phew*

I really didn’t know what to expect when I started the first book. but there is no time for hanging around, you really are launched straight into the action. I don’t want to set out too much more of the story, for fear of spoilers (which I really do try to avoid) but as a story premise, it was very different from anything I’ve read before. Now that’s not to say I’ve read everything; clearly not; but it was refreshing.

I do struggle to get my head around the Shay/Aidan/Eli triangle, but that’s a minor niggle really, as the whole relationship is well written. Shay doesn’t strike me as a shrinking violet, yet all the men in her life (save McNab) seem to treat her as such. And what’s going on with her dad?? Secrets and lies, people! I’m really hoping for lots of answers in the next book, and I’m also hoping for a full on scary ass ride!!!

I have got to say this series of books gets my heart pumping, I can't wait to see what happens next. They are so good.
People that knows Shay are still turning up dead. Everywhere shay goes someone is after her. Detective Glass is sure Shay is guilty, what will he do to prove it?

I was given the book for an honest review, SN Reviews
