The feels!
I cried so much! And laughed like crazy (yes, out loud, with people around who turned their heads, staring at the girl who laughed at a book (crazy, right?!)).
It is that kind of series. It is that kind of book. It is that kind of author.
This series will blow your mind, I have no idea why there aren't more people reading this. It's crazy, everyone should try it! It is one of the best authors I've ever read (and, not to brag, but I've read a lot!).
Give it a try, the first 2 books at least. And if you don't like it, well... I doubt there's any UF-loving person out there who wouldn't love this autor.

Grimm: A Novel In The Nate Temple Supernatural Thriller Series (The Temple Chronicles #3) by Shayne Silvers is such an awesome book! So were the others but this one had me worried there for a bit in the book, DON'T DO THAT TO YOUR READERS, SOME HAVE WEAK HEARTS!!! Man, I love these books. On to read the next one...they are soooo freaking addictive. Weres, vamps, Death, Angels, a Minotaur, and fairies, and .... you get the picture. I don't think you really do unless you read the books because they are NOT what you imagine. Not in the least. Come, join the Nate Temple team, we are all strange here but boy do we love it!!!!!

I liked the first 2 books fairly well, but this one was starting to wear on me. 1) At the end of the second book (nathan the maker) he had these outstanding abilities that he used to pacify the wizard council, angels, demons and impress the horsemen of the apocalypse. The third book is three months after that, and now he can't do anything with this power. So for most of the book he is this helpless person. 2) Next, during battles, there is an issue with the author using the first person. The author has the main character, nate, describing the battles and all that goes on. The problem is, that he is doing absolutely NOTHING while he uses his inner monologue to describe the scene...I'm screaming at the book like you might a horror movie "Do something!!! Stop standing still and looking around!!!". 3) Third, these amulets that the villains wear are the source of their power, but the characters never actively try to deprive their foes of them..."OMG! Just use you're magic to rip their necklaces off already!!!" At one point the author explained that one character could block his power, ok cool, but that guy was not always there, so why didn't he try his magic to steal them at those times? And none of his allies ever try to grab the amulets off of their opponents. 4) Fourth, dude, ask the girl to marry you already. She doesn't need you to bake a freaking cake on the eve of the final battle. Get over it and quit acting like a child. You are constantly in these life or death situations, tell her how you feel in the safety of your warded home and spend some quality time together before you die. 5) The villain has shown that they have a shape-shifting ability: test everyone you haven't seen for a while before assuming they are themselves. You haven't seen your girl in hours, you meet her out of your home, but you don't think, hey! You might not be my girl, let me ask you some questions only you would know before we have dinner...6) Wizard academy, this person has now twice shown you that you are idiots and should listen to them when they say something bad is about to happen...but you don't even check into it? Not at all?
Overall, many of these things were similar to what occurred in the first 2 books, but it was more appropriate in those as these characters had not gone through them before. Now, they have. They have experience, have developed more abilities, but they repeat the same mistakes over and over. There is no real character development. I will not be getting any future books in this series.

A bit of a filler novel
This book had no real plot. The final battle was essentially Nate get Mad, Nate go boom. I think the author was trying to use this book to tell the story of Nate's trials and tribulations in figuring out what is different about his maker power and how does he harness it. Unfortunately, that inner conflict is superficial. There are whole sections of the book that seem copied and pasted with a thesaurus used to make the reader believe something new is happening. I loved the first two books, I stayed up until 2 am to finish this one. I am so disappointed, I won't be continuing the series.

Nate Temple and his Freaks are back.
This time they are beset by Grimms – a group of people whose superpower is that they can sense when other people are magic users. They are an ancient race. They believe that all magic users are dangerous, evil, etc., and they have made it their mission to destroy them all. Years, or centuries, ago, one of Nate’s ancestors managed to lock them away in a void somewhere. The key to this place was the copy of the original edition of Grimm’s Fairy Tales that Nate bought some years back and hid in a secret vault below his now-destroyed bookstore, Plato’s Cave. Somehow this let a few of them loose, and they are on the rampage. They are looking for the book, and they are also bent on destroying Nate and all his friends. They have hired a lot of other magical beings, and they have the secret complicity of others. And strangely, for beings who are so convinced that all magic users are evil, they have discovered a way to steal the magic of those they have destroyed and use it themselves.
As you might expect, there is a lot of non-stop action throughout the book – everything from fights with vampires and various sorts of shifters to corporate hijinks.
In the middle of all this, Nate is trying to prepare to propose to his girlfriend, Indie. Pretty much every stage of his preparations is messed up by the ongoing fight with the Grimms.
I did like that the women in this book were treated better. Ashley, the CEO of Temple Industries and fiancée of Nate’s best friend, Gunther the werewolf, and Indie, Nate’s girlfriend, are more than just eye candy this time. One or the other of them is in on most of the action, and they are every bit as awesome fighters as their boyfriends and the magical creatures they are with. Although they do suffer for it.

While visiting Achilles’ bar, Nate Temple hears that vampires have been snatching girls and taking them down into the sewers, never to be heard from again. Achilles’ own bartender has suspiciously gone missing, so Nate decides to do him a favor to make things right between them. So he, his werewolf friend Gunnar, and girlfriend Indie head for the sewers.
Under vicious attack by the vampires – he of course had found a nest of them and not just the one vampire he had intended – he and his friends were not giving a stellar performance defending themselves. But when one of the vampires heard his name mentioned, they hurriedly backed off rather than face “The Maker”. He still wasn’t fully aware exactly how to harness these Maker powers, but that would never stop him or even give him pause.
He finds out that the Brothers Grimm have responded to a contract out on him and anyone who is close to him. They want their two dangerous books back which he had never destroyed as he probably should have. But regardless, they want him dead; and they never fail. And now the Grimms are loose in the world again and on a rampage. It doesn’t look like Nate and his friends are going to be able to defeat them this time around unless something drastically changes. And if they lose this battle, the rest of the Grimms will return to the world to destroy all things magical!
Nate is a zany character that you quickly come to enjoy. He’s really funny, and the tongue-in-cheek humor is amazing. He’s in a tough spot, but he has so much determination and will readily give his life for his friends. This is a real page-turner from start to finish! I highly recommend this refreshingly original book – what a wild ride! I received a free ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.

Just finished reading “Grimm:The Temple Chronicles Book 3) by Shayne Silvers. Although I enjoyed all the books in this series (Obsidian Son, Fairy Tale, Blood Debt, Grimm), this one was by far my favorite. I was entertained from the first page to the last and it left with wanting more. And I’m happy to know that there will be more in the next installment to this fantastic Supernatural Thriller Series due out, from what I understand, sometime in December 2016. Great characters (Alucard (that's Dracula spelled backwards) Morningstar, one of my new favorites), fantastic storytelling and really just had a great time and a lot of fun reading this entire series thus far…

What I like about this series: The smart-ass Tony-Stark-esque hero, Nate Temple. All his friends. The relationships among them. The very broad range of fantasy characters. The creative ways Nate evades certain death.
What I dislike about this series: Not enough time for Nate to learn his powers, catch his breath, or develop relationships between the action. It's 0 to 60 in under 5 seconds, every book.
This book is the worst offender yet. Not only does it jump the gun on the action sequences, but there are MULTIPLE times that the bad guy could, should, and would have ended Nate before the final showdown. Bad guys aren't idiots. Especially 400+ year old bad guys. They don't just stand around yammering with their enemy in the middle of a battle. They cut the head off and move on to the next target. It would have been much more interesting if the build up had been slower and at least one entire showdown eliminated. When the reader has trouble with a fantasy plot line being believable, the author has gone too far, too fast. I have a feeling all the books are going to be this way, which is annoying, because the characters are very interesting.
In this one, Nate loses nearly everything and gains a ton of power while eliminating a very big threat to the supernatural community (which he accidentally pissed off and then set free, but that's a prequel short story.)

First of all it is worth a reminder that this is not the first book in the series and so, although you would still be able to enjoy this book without doing so, it would be better to read Obsidian Son and Blood Debt first. After enjoying the first Obsidian Son and then the even better Blood Debt for their varied characters, storyline and humour I was so pleased that Grimm was even better. It had the trademark slightly dark humour from the fast paced start and the momentum continued throughout the book so that I didn't want to put it down until I had finished. If you enjoy myth based fantasy with engaging storylines, characters that you can laugh and empathise with and slightly dark humour then this series is most definitely for you.

Liked the first two better
Still good, like the characters the dialogue and the action, but I liked the first two books much more. There were quite a few things I didn't like in this one, that said I am still interested in seeing where the story is going and will definitely read the next one.

Yet another trip with Nate Temple full of twists and turns. Both old friends and enemies put in an appearance, for some their lives will never be the same. Anyone who has ever read any of the fairy tales written by the brothers Grimm will know that they are much darker than the Disney versions, Nate's life also takes a nosedive into darkness, hopefully he can pull himself out again.

Wow just ... wow
Well this was completely unseen in many ways. My predictions were wrong and I was surprised. It’s impressive. But, one thing I thought was what it was which is awesome and I can’t wait to read more.

Definitely not the type of book to take to an Aussie beach in Summertime or else you'll be burnt to a crisp as if Raego or Misha (weredragon's) roasted & toasted you, turning you into crispy critter!
An array of the most interesting, diverse & unique characters from all walks of life, social classes with and without freaky family secrets, powers & abilities that you'll blow you away! Even the regulars can blow you away literally, these 2 women, Ashley & Indie are deadly on target with their guns!
The type of characters you'll instantly fall in love with, root for and wish to have as your clique of mates or want as a bestie or that super special someone in life & love. Then there's those you despise so much you love to hate them! Often dreaming up ways to hear them die screaming and you'll love every second thinking it or reading it.
But even the bad guys provoke so much emotion out of you, you love them too, it's just a love hate relationship.
And speaking of emotions, these books are like a roller coaster ride of emotions.
One minute it's a major laughing out loud moment that comes out of nowhere surprising you so much you either spray the mouthful of drink everywhere while it sprays from your nose at the same time or your literal crying your eyes out the very next from some horrifically sad story, scene or death of a beloved character, but its fantasy so they don't ways stay dead either, surprise surprise, surprise. Then you feel even dumber for letting the author extraordinaire (ass) make you cry for nothing!!!
Want to fall in love, laugh out loud inappropriately in inappropriate places, cry, sob create lumps the size of Uluru in your throat and break your heart, read with a great big dopey smile on your dial the whole time & laugh till your face & guts hurt like Hell! Seriously I threw my back out laughing so hard till my laughing tears turned to real tears from the pain of throwing my back out!!!
Seriously some days I feel as though I've gone 12 Rounds in the Ring with a professional boxer after reading these books! You become so involved, its almost like your part of the story and its happening to you or these guys feel like part of your family.
Immensely talented this author extraordinaire has a rare gift, the ability to bring the reader into his books.
You simply slip in at some stage becoming one with the character/s. Essentially Skin Walking in their shoes or else you feel as though their part of your family or clique of mates. And they make you really care for them, it's like their real life people friends, family or lovers.
What greater compliment can you give back to an author, than the ability to feel so much from their simple words or the way they make you feel. These books are helping thousands & thousands of people going through tough hard times with painful, loneliness and depression.
Sometimes I don't think authors or producers realise how much their work truly helps some.
I know these books are personally getting me through a very stressful & painful life.
So Shayne, I dearly thank you on behalf of all of us whom feel this way. We bow too thee.😘
Once you've read that final page and the book jacket closes for the final time and the book's put back on the shelf/kindle library, you're still thinking of the characters, the events and what's going to happen next.

Since I started this series, these characters have never gone more than a day or so without crossing my mind, but at least I'm at the beginning of what I imagine will be the biggest & best ride of my life in literacy!
That's how phenomenal this author is, but as good as he is, he's an absolute ass! He loves to tease & torture his fans in the most evil of ways!
So We the fans, like to dream up ways we'd love give him some paybacks, to torture said author monkey for killing off favourite characters and all the teasers & taunts throwing in so many major plot twists, that blow you away, leaving you gobsmacked as you wonder how in Hell he dreamt it all up?
My guess, he sold his soul to a Cross Road Demon! But knowing our dear sweet scheming slippery Shayne Silvers, I bet he snuck some clause or loop hole in the contract to out smart, outwit, out think & out write the poor old little Demon!
Each book, the character's involved, the stories, the shenanigans and the humour just gets better & better as does the main man, Nate Temple. He doesn't always win, cops a beating or two, has flaws that make him more human & endearing and is never always right.
He's growing in maturity, gaining strength, powers, abilities, wisdom, friends, allies and even enemies.
Honestly he's comparable to a damn fine bottle of 1951's Penfolds, Grange Hermitage.
The fruit ripeness on the vine, is picked, stomped on, crushed & filtered till all that remains is that liquid ambrosia (oops wrong Shayne Silvers series, lol) where its then stored in oak vats to develop its flavours, taste & age, turning into one of the finest, most expensive bottles of wines in the world today.
Much in the same way Nate grew maturing & ripening into a Master Wizard. He was then stomped on by Jafar, the Academy & his evil watcher. Tricked & stripped of his wizard's powers, no longer being all he'd ever known.
Luckily Nate was aided by his parents upon their death, with one last parting gift, the unique & rare powers of a Maker!
More powerful than the greatest wizard, but a skillset that must be learned & harnessed.
Also aided by 'Death' too, yep The Man himself (the boss of the '4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse'). Nate sure has friends in high or low places!
So yes Nate has grown, ripened matured, been picked, stomped, crushed, filtered, poured into an oak vat, where once again he was asked to age, mature, taking time out after losing his wizardry powers, he had to re-grow, re-learn, re-develop these new stronger powers, learning to tap into the constant flow of powers under his feet, this is where the power of a 'Maker' comes from the Earth, the energy all around, and all the while developing his parents multi-billion dollar tech company and becoming richer by the second, but forced to take a step back, from both the company & his powers, take a breath, fully control and harness these powers safely and command them at will rather than out of fear or anger in great times of danger and necessity.
Much like wine being poured into a decanter, allowing it to "breathe" a simple process where it oxidizes by exposing it to air for a period of time before serving which can help soften flavours and release aromas in a way similar to swirling the wine in your glass.
Nate and a grapes journey from beginning to end have had a similar process. Both maturing and being high in demand, becoming smooth, rich, full bodied, multi-flavoured and loved by all. Wouldn't you like to take a sip from this tall dark powerful spicy aromatic drink?

Definitely not the type of book to take to an Aussie beach in Summertime or else you'll be burnt to a crisp as if Raego or Misha (weredragon's) roasted & toasted you, turning you into crispy critter!
An array of the most interesting, diverse & unique characters from all walks of life, social classes with and without freaky family secrets, powers & abilities that you'll blow you away! Even the regulars can blow you away literally, these 2 women, Ashley & Indie are deadly on target with their guns!
The type of characters you'll instantly fall in love with, root for and wish to have as your clique of mates or want as a bestie or that super special someone in life & love. Then there's those you despise so much you love to hate them! Often dreaming up ways to hear them die screaming and you'll love every second thinking it or reading it.
But even the bad guys provoke so much emotion out of you, you love them too, it's just a love hate relationship.
And speaking of emotions, these books are like a roller coaster ride of emotions.

Seriously some days I feel as though I've gone 12 Rounds in the Ring with a professional boxer after reading these books! You become so involved, its almost like your part of the story and its happening to you or these guys feel like part of your family.
Immensely talented this author extraordinaire has a rare gift, the ability to bring the reader into his books.
You simply slip in at some stage becoming one with the character/s. Essentially Skin Walking in their shoes or else you feel as though their part of your family or clique of mates. And they make you really care for them, it's like their real life people friends, family or lovers.
What greater compliment can you give back to an author, than the ability to feel so much from their simple words or the way they make you feel. These books are helping thousands & thousands of people going through tough hard times with painful, loneliness and depression.
Sometimes I don't think authors or producers realise how much their work truly helps some.
I know these books are personally getting me through a very stressful & painful life.

Once you've read that final page and the book jacket closes for the final time and the book's put back on the shelf/kindle library, you're still thinking of the characters, the events and what's going to happen next.

You have a character succeed against extremely overwhelming odds once and you have a potentially good story. You have it happen two books in a row, you start stretching the realms of believability. You do it three books in a row and you develop the problem I had with Grimm, the third book in The Temple Chronicles.
This book sees Nate Temple go up against the Grimms, a family of deadliest killers the world has ever known and an overwhelming force with a personal grudge against Nate. Time and again throughout the novel they prove that they are unstoppable and with each time it happened, I liked this book less. It isn't that I don't like an underdog story, just that when that underdog story becomes impossible to believe it's hard to swallow. This isn't a sports team coming from behind to win the match, it's a boxer with no arms or legs somehow proving victorious without being able to throw a single punch. It's simply unbelievable.
Of course, when the odds are stacked so highly against the protagonist, the only way to keep the story going is through artificial means. The number of faceoffs in this book where Nate is somehow left breathing when he should be dead makes a James Bond movie look like a documentary. Nate and his friends should be dead 10 times over by the end of the novel, and with each time they weren't this book became a little harder to read.
Finally, I have an issue with Indie. The problem I have with her is similar to what I see in a lot of novels, especially urban fantasy. When love interests exist solely to be the love interest and serve no other purpose to the plot, then its hard to care about them. In the first book, Indie only showed up whenever Nate was taking a break from his adventures. In the second she was away the entire time with her mother. Now, in this third when we are supposed to really care about her and her relationship with Nate, we haven't seen enough of her or their relationship for it to mean anything. By the end of the last book, I was more interested in his Hacker ex-girlfriend than Indie.
All of these issues come together to bog down a story that otherwise had a lot of potential. It made a book that normally I would have consumed in a single sitting drag out to two days of frustrated reading. I have really enjoyed the series so far and I look forward to the future books, but I hope that the quality only goes up from here.
2.5 stars that I'll round up for the simple reason that I can't bring myself to rate this a 2.

I was given this book in return for an honest review (my only kind!). Everything I have read so far by Shayne Silvers has been at least good, but this book was GREAT! In GRIMM he pulls all the remaining story threads from the previous two novels in the series together and ties them off to a satisfying conclusion. Just a few words of advice, when it gets hard, keep going, keep going, keep going. Just remember, there are many characters in this story with magical power and you may not have been paying enough attention! I know I didn't want to continue: I didn't feel good and I didn't like the situation (which didn't then couldn't improve), so I almost quit. But I decided I had such a small amount left to read and I would at least get some comfort from that and, WOW, WOW! So, yeah, I'm a sucker for a happy ending, but Silvers is double sneaky about it, and just when you think there's no hope, here it comes! So wizard fans, romance fans, happy ending fans, come and get it!

A darker version of the brothers Grimm, is the authors take on what this is in Nate temples world.
A twisting journey and adventure with various interesting antagonist.
It's unclear why his friends continue to be almost like solders and follow orders, it's understood that it's due to mutual protection and his longtime friends are more like family, but the obsidian sun seems out of character.
Best part of this book is the villains unique abilities that circumvent being overpowered, however perpetually introducing new villains that are bigger and badder is noticeable, a sense equal playing field with dynamic differences would be easier to latch on to then this one is 10 times more bad ass then the worlds biggest bad ass from the last book, etc.
Really enjoyed this and can see there are stories for the next book.

The story of Nate Temple has gotten even better. In this book the Brothers Grimm have come for Nate because they need access to the armory, and to exact revenge. Action packed and addicting. So addicting that I missed quite a few hours of sleep. I love the story of how the Brothers Grimm came to be in this book, and how Nate has decided that no matter how much the odds are against him, he is going defeat them or die trying. And through it all, Nate keeps his smart-ass personality. At the end of the book I LITERALLY cried sad tears for Nate. Then in a twist I wasn't expecting, I cried happy tears! I love how each book leaves the story open for the next book without leaving you hanging.

There is a ton of action in this one and I really felt the hopelessness that Nate felt throughout this book. I did not expect Indie to die nor to come back as a Grimm. I am not 100% for Nate and Indie but that is because I read the first two books of the Feathers and Fire series first before I realized there were two other series involved. I still think she is a liability even though now she is a freak like the rest of them. Nate is obviously on the path to become a horseman. Gunnar reminds me of Odin with only one eye now. Alucard is now a vamp friend. The grandmaster will be gunning for Nate. It would be interesting if they aren't always about to die in the books. We shall see where the series goes.

Grimm is the third book I read in the Nate Temple Series, actually Fairy Tales is a novella between Obsidian Son and Blood Debts, but I digress. Each book in this series is a stand alone, without those messy cliffhangers, thank heavens, and with each I am further enmeshed in Nate Temple''s world. These aren't our childhood stories, all those fairy-tale folk, in this case The Brothers Grimm, show up in mysterious and frightening ways.
Compelling, well written, with a quirky turn of phrase, thoroughly enjoyable.

Seriously Shayne, can you please let Nate make at least one good decision! Why does the plot line have to be solely based on Nate being a moron. I really want to give these books 4 or 5 Star reviews because I do enjoy them, but they are so infuriating. When the entire Crux of the plot line could be resolved by simply destroying the one thing everybody wants to kill you for (and you don't need) it makes me almost root for the bad guys.

But still... an entire book of action is just too much for me. I need down time. I need time to digest the previous battle before another is thrust on him. I need more character development that isn't revolving around a magical battle.
I am sure there is a method to his madness when writing these, to keep you guessing wondering who or what someone is. But after reading his first three books back to back to back, I am over it.

We are taken on a wild ride, almost right out of the gate with the third book in this series, and you never get a chance to catch your breath. Nate has a hit out on him, and it’s the Grimm’s that are after him, whom are much stronger than he is. Since he doesn’t have control over his powers yet, he’s a sitting duck, but his friends, and a couple new allies, are targeted too.
This book doesn’t let its foot off the gas pedal much, it’s a fully action packed book that keeps the reader tense and on high alert the whole time. Several characters from past books make an appearance, and I finally like Indie. For the most part in this series, I’ve thought she was just a filler character, but in this book, she finally comes into her own and earned my respect. My biggest gripe is that Nate was clueless most of the book. Being a Maker, he has no idea how to use his new-found powers and it does wear you down.
All said, this is a great addition to the series, and I like how Mr. Silvers is bringing in so much of the traditional folk tales and interweaving them into the story, along with witty dialog. A must for urban fantasy lovers. Reviewed by Cyrene

Stupid.
Not sure whether that applies to the book, or to me. The plot of the book was, in fact, pretty stupid, but as unimpressed as I was by the first 2 books in the series, the fact that I went ahead and bought/read this one says something about my ability to learn from my mistakes, too. I will not be making that mistake again; this is the last book of this series that I'll be reading. The main character is an annoying bore, some of the secondary characters are moderately interesting (which is why I've stuck around as long as I have) the plot is utterly nonsensical, with the incredibly over-powered main character and his almost equally incredibly over-powered allies totally outclassed by the villains. Until, inexplicably, they weren't. Technically, the book is tolerably well-constructed, with few if any proofreading errors (rare these days) which, combined with some of the mildly interesting secondary characters, is why I give the book a second star. But it's a near thing; I almost called it a one-star review. Definitely not recommended.

The main character is an annoying bore, some of the secondary characters are moderately interesting (which is why I've stuck around as long as I have) the plot is utterly nonsensical, with the incredibly over-powered main character and his almost equally incredibly over-powered allies totally outclassed by the villains. Until, inexplicably, they weren't. Technically, the book is tolerably well-constructed, with few if any proofreading errors (rare these days) which, combined with some of the mildly interesting secondary characters, is why I give the book a second star. But it's a near thing; I almost called it a one-star review. Definitely not recommended.

After Blood Debts, Grimm was a bit of a disappointment. The events in the book were already set in the prequel Fairy Tale. Grimms, the psychopathic assassins of the supernatural world are back and have put a hit out on Nate. Nate had thwarted their escape in Fairy Tale but in Grimm he is quite an incompetent fool. There were multiple occasions when the Grimms could have taken out Nate and his whole gang. In the previous book we found that Nate has this amazing power of a Maker but it never came to him until the very end where suddenly he has this God like power at his disposal. Even with all the inconsistencies in the story I did enjoy it. I like the characters and the blend of mythology and paranormal.

Made me cry
So where do I start... Oh. Yeah! Magic, bad guys. New characters. More bad guys. New magic. Nasty bad guys. (I think you get the idea) You know. I love Nate, he's a great guy. Shayne! For the love of Templeverse, can you give the man a break? And no. I don't mean a KITKAT. I've never in my life (besides my own, actually) known anyone to have the crappiest luck, that this poor guy is dealt. Ok. Hands up. He gets to be the hero and all that but gee whiz, I'd need a shrink after all the stuff he's been through. -Big sigh- My reviews, which are rather impressive, from time to time, (just kidding) I try to make them unique. Most readers spoil a novel by giving away 'EVERYTHING '. PERSONALLY, I just want new blood to know, that for me, I loved reading this instalment of your world. I laughed. And yes, damn it, you made me cry! Are you happy now? -inserts happy face while skipping off to the next book-💖

Exciting, Scary & It Made Me Cry!!😱😭💥

I was in hospital & too poorly to concentrate on reading words so my hubby signed me up to the Audible trial so I could 'hear' some books instead of reading them. It was a tad odd I'll admit, but it was better than having no books at all 👍 Weirdly, I found Nate came across a lot more smug, immature & annoying in this format than when I read the books!!😳 Maybe it was related the narrator/voice actor? I'm just not sure! 😒
The story was deeply disturbing on some levels & heart warming on many others. The 'Grimms' were horrible zealots, never a good thing!!😢😡 They tore through Nate's life like it held no meaning & they had no conscience about who was hurt in the process!!😭😔
