*MF *Contemporary *Dual-PoV *Mafia *Marriage of Convenience *Enemy Families *Touch Her and ☠️ *Abused FMC *MidBurn *2/2 What a finish! Vasilisa comes into her own throughout this book! She will never be the full out killer like Saint or cameo but she owns the darkness within here and will do what needs to be done to protect herself and her newfound family! 🥰 She is her own queen and saviour in this book after eternal more attempts on her life, and she is willing to take her King to task over his issues. I love that Ash gives our Saint a side that we do not normally see in these kinds of Mafia books - it really humanises him and is dealt with sympathetically and realistically. These two characters are a match made in blood, fire and chemistry 🖤 cannot wait for more in this world- would love a Jonathan book for a side character h and Saints friendship was so amusing. Would definitely recommend this duet!
I didn’t like this one as much because of all of mushy feeling stuff and then BAM sex. /: I prefer my mafia men cold and heartless and the second of this series was a lot of inner turmoil and therapy, which I wasn’t expecting. I’m glad I finished it out but I didn’t have as much fun as I did with the first one 🤷🏽♀️🤨
Lethal Queen is the 2nd and last book in the Lethal Duet. I loved Vasilisa (FMC) in the book especially because for me she came into her own strength which she needed to not only have in regards to helping herself but also her husband - Damien's too. This book also focused more on family both the ones your related too and the ones you choose to be in your life. Those brought a needed bit of humour within all the dark content. It was a brilliant ending to this duet and I'm looking forward to Ruthless Baron now.
This was so great to finish up the story started in book one. Damien’s spiral into panic and fear after Vasilisa’s abduction was so well done and so realistic. Nothing was cured in a day, as it shouldn’t be. It just resonated so well. And to see Vasilisa growing into herself and her power and being every bit the queen that Damien knew her to be was inspired. I’m so intrigued by Rose, Eli, Johnathan and the others that I can’t wait to read more of this world. Very well done!!!
Oh this book was so awesome. It made me tear up, laugh and just feel emotional. I was so disappointed in saint in the beginning. But wow did he break my heart in the middle and Vasya was such a queen taking care of her man and they are just perfect together. It was just a great and rough journey. I can’t wait to get my hands on Eli and roses book.
Absolutely IN LOVE with this duet. Vas and Damien are pure perfection, along with their family and friends! I am so happy I read this duet and can’t wait to see what’s to come!
This takes you through the wild emotions right with Damien and Vasilia. This was very well written with am amazing realism to the emotions and reactions. This was a fantastic follow up the previous book.
Damn what a duet!!! Vasya is such a strong FMC. She went through alot of shit and is no pushover. Damien makes her so strong with his encouragement and endless love. These 2 r perfectly blood thirsty together. I cant wait for more!!!
This Duet series was really enjoyable to read… Damien was hard but flawed but obsessively in love with his Queen… loved the growth of Vasya… looking forward to the other stories
This review is exactly the same as the first. It was fine. The smut was horrible and I hated every second of it. Literally just skipped over all of it.
This book was okay. This book did not need to be a duet, to me. I liked both Damien and Vasya. This mafia story was so different than all the others I've read. There were things I liked and didn't like about this duet. Damien was not alpha or strong enough to me in this duet.
