Excellence in escalation. The execution is a brilliant riot. Past mysteries are solved, opening a slew of new mysteries amid the snark-a-thon. Roller coaster would be too gentle a comparison. I recommend picking it up.

Story was good
Honestly the story was very good except there is no reason to put current politics into this no matter what side of the line you are. I was pretty disgusted because I am reading urban fantasy...a fictional world of the authors creation. I did not pick up this series to read the authors political leanings. So yes even one comment can ruin it for people.

How does this series score so many 4 and 5-star reviews?!? The ONLY thing that it has going for it is its easy readability and shallow entertainment value. I mean, it's 6 books in and I still occasionally think 'hmm, maybe it's time to read the next one,' only to get frustrated and angry at the terrible cliches, plot holes, and oh-so-convenient happenstance that helps our clueless bumbling Nate (who's always the last person to figure out what's going on) out of a dilemma that's been carefully and thoughtfully crafted by his opponents. If Nate's the good guy hero, then I want the bad guys to win.

Tiny Gods? How about Massive Cluster***
So the last few Nate Temple books have been consistently turning up the action and introducing new and more powerful characters. I for one have loved every single bit of it. If you enjoy fantasy, action, mythology, and The 4 Horsemen (ahem...), or just a good bottle of scotch and a legendary cigar, then these books are most certainly for you.

Warning: this book ends in a cliffhanger!
It was to some degree entertaining but the fillers , which made up the main bulk of the book, were repetitive and the supposedly big mystery behind Indi's behavior was not only extremely lame but could have been state at any point of the story in less than 20 seconds! Whiteout the need to act oh so mysterious!!!

Just finished Beta Reading “Tiny Gods: A Novel in the Nate Temple Supernatural Thriller Series (The Temple Chronicles Book 6)” by Shayne Silvers. If I’m completely honest, I must say I had some angst and a bit of trepidation after reading the first couple chapters. I’m not really sure what it was, but I just didn’t feel that usual Shayne Silvers flow in the story. That being said, redemption came, and the flow that I so love in Shayne’s writing returned with gusto. The introduction of Yahn is toe-tah-lee a fun and welcomed character. Enjoying the complex relationship going on between Nate and Indie. The battle between the Academy and the Syndicate is getting more intense. I especially enjoy the meshing of different theologies and mythologies as well as the meshing of classic fairy tale characters from Grimm to Lewis Carroll. It was also quite nice to see the warmer more serious side of Nate in his relationship with his father and mother. So, all in all, humor, action, adventure and thrills continues with Nate and his motley crew of scallywags and rascals, friends and foes alike. Looking forward to the next installment.

A car chase and shootout were in full swing, Alucard crazily driving the wrong way down the street while Nate berates him for not getting them out of the line of fire of the mob-like weregorillas. They had to circle around to pick up Yahn at the dance school and Nate’s satchel which would be needed for their escape. Unfortunately, in the melee that followed, one of the Reds, dragon shifters, scratched Yahn – so there just might be an issue later if he sprouts shiny disco scales and breathes fire . . . but for now, they had a gala to get to!
As Tory was preparing to give her speech, a new server gave her a glass of champagne. She took a drink and, as she started her talk to generate funding, she started to sway. As the speech progressed strange things started happening, and Tory snarled at the crowd that they should get out of there. Fire alarms went off. And chaos erupted again!
By now, the reader can guess that this book is the wildest rollcoaster ride imaginable! I was laughing so hard most of the time that I couldn’t see to write. But trust me, you will definitely not want to ever miss one of this author’s books! As always, his writing is phenomenal and the action never stops! It’s one thing after another in rapid succession until the reader is hyperventilating. You’ll need a scorecard to keep up with all the players, both new and old! Like the other books before, this one is an incredible reading experience. The characters are really good, each so unique and likable in their own way. Once you meet Nate, there’s no way to give him up. You’ll be hooked like the rest of us! Do I need to say the words – “Yes, indeed, I most definitely recommend this awesome book!”

This book is packed to the gills with excitement,twists, revelations and so much more that I couldn't put it down.
Nate has his birthday coming up, but with so many enemies he may not actually get to celebrate it.
I love how all the characters are complex and well developed and you connect with them whether you love or hate them. It was great how this book bring things from the previous books together that you have to keep turning the page to see what will happen next. Don't worry we still have plenty of laughs (how could you not with Alucard) but there are also some tears and nail biting fight scenes but the best part for me was finally we find out about Mallory!!! If that isn't a good enough reason to read the book then I don't know what is!!
I have no idea how Shayne Silvers is going to top this but I know he will!!

This could have been an awesome story but Indie single handedly spoiled this for me. In Beast Master Indie returned as a psychopath without giving any reasons about her abrupt change . Throughout this book Indie kept dropping cryptic hints whenever Nate confronted her. The reason told at the very end turned out lame and I don't understand why she couldn't tell Nate about it before. I never got Nate and Indie's chemistry so I'm not heart broken over it.
The plot was good. Shayne Silver has a strong writing style and his grip on so many characters is amazing. The Syndicate are coming out to play more in the open and The Academy still wants Nate under their thumb. A few surprises for Nate, some secrets revealed and lots of fun times.

Tiny Gods is the best Nate Temple yet. The action is nearly non-stop, the characters an excellent blend of traits (and races--wizards, werewolves, dragons, etc.). I saw my favorite characters from previous books with new additions for this one. Mr. Silvers more than captures my attention with the plot, characters, pace, language, and humor. Especially, the humor. I laughed out loud reading this book, which is somewhat rare for me. I guess it was a good thing I was reading at home! Nate has become a good friend, one I can depend on to make my day lighter and happier. I wish I knew someone like him in real life, wizard powers and all (big smile). I'm going back to make sure I've read all the previous books (and, if not, purchase them). I can't wait for the next book in the series. Thank you, Mr. Silvers, for sharing your talent and making such delightful stories available to your readers.

What do you do when your fiance wants you dead, so does one of your ancestors, your house is alive, and , oh yeah, its your birthday too? wee, if you are Nate Temple, you just get on with another normal day. Nate is back for the sixth installment in his ever exciting and snarky saga. In this installment, we see Nate learning about and coming to terms with may of the players and machinations that have been playing in the background since the beginning of the series. So, if you have read ANY other Nate Temple book, you need to read this one, as so many of your questions will be answered. If you haven't read any yet, well, start at the beginning. It's worth it.

Holy s#itballs...Shayne has done it again......Nate starts this one out already in trouble....."Be careful of my balls they're fragile....magical spheres I mean spheres"....hahahaa had me laughing out loud in public. Tiny but Mighty
This is definitely one of my favourite Nate Temple novels. There's Icabod, an update on the nefarious Indie and everyone else you can think of. You definitely won't miss out on a thing with this scathinglngly mesmerising novel. As a riveting reader of the Feathers series I can't wait to see where this goes next.

Seriously. I have to wait until September?
Really enjoyed Tiny Gods. It was a great combination of action humor and pure aggregation! The story, though stuck with mythos we've accepted as normal, has enough imagination to keep me coming back.

Grab onto yer sack of magic balls and stuff and hang on for ah toe-tah-lee awesome ride of epic proportions as help arrives in the form of a mouthy smart ass wizard carrying a man purse with a cure for a reptile dysfunction!!!
Tiny Gods Has To Be My Favourite Shayne Silvers Book To Date.
Its literally to die for as the author tries to kill you with comedic skits that feel never ending!
I spent the first 2 chapters of this book/audio laughing, sounding like a donkey braying while having an asthma attack, then threw my neck out whiplash style with my body jerking back & forth in fits of giggles which in due course caused my sleeping puppy to jump all over & maul me, joining in thinking she was missing out on the jubilation (which in turn became true tears of physical pain)!
Seriously this book/audio is that good you'll spit your spine out laughing while fighting through the tears of hilarity cascading down your face as you desperately try to read the words through the blinding tears that freely flow throughout chapters 3 & 4.
Greatest start to 'The Book Of All-Time!' Definitely 4 of the best chapters I've ever read, now to complete the rest.
I think my body hates you both Shayne Silvers & Joel Richards! It aches all over & I'm only 4 chapters in of ah toe-tah-lee gut-busting side-splitting riotous scream fest!
OMG, The talents of Joel Richards' is 'Off The Scale!' His dark, gravelly tones are the perfect choice for such an iconic anti-hero, one whose slowly undertaking a metamorphosis of sorts. Finding his way in the world of Freaks (those with powers & abilities) & Regulars (normal humans) finding out who & what Nate Temple truly is or meant to be while trying to do the right thing.
Protecting both species, his city & her people while taking out the bad guy's one at a time.
And to think I actually almost sent Boxset # 2 back to Audible after listening to Beast Master (book 5).
I'm not sure if it was me, (being unwell) Joel (as a 1st time listener), the story or listening to the narration too slow or a combination of all 4, but Silvers' Freaky Facebook Family, 'The Den of Freaks' convinced me to hang in & give Joel another shot citing I wouldn't be sorry!
I didn't listen to Silver Tongue (audio book 4) as I'd forgotten I'd bought the boxset way back.
And I'm so grateful I posted my thoughts to the group now, as I would have missed out on the Best Book by far in the Nate Temple series to date!
I cannot believe the differences from how I felt reading/listening to book 5 Beast Master to how I felt reading Tiny Gods.
With Zany Silvers & Gold Richards to the Rescue, it felt like a totally different author, narrator & series. Like Day & Night , Gold & Silver, but in ahh toe-tah-lee awesome way!
I don't think the small sample snippet of Joel Richards narrating the Nate Temple books on Audible really does him Justice. I didn't like the sound, but realised I had to adapt the speed higher in order to throughly love it.
The great thing with audible, if you don't like it they will replace the book or credit. I bought it thinking no harm, no foul,
if I didn't like it, it would be replace.
I now say always give a series, author or narrator a real go, don't just go by the tiny snippet, I'd doesn't always do the narrator justice. Or these been some I thought geez I love the sound of this, only to despise it!
'GOLD' 'FREAKING EPIC', 'OUTSTANDING PERFOMANCES ALL ROUND!'
Some of the most brilliantly writing & narrating yet, action packed, die laughing car chase scenes, packed full of Silvers' super sharp snark, shade slinging, slays I've ever read. With Magic & mind blowing gob smackers that just blow your lid!
Joel voices every character to perfection. I love his rendition of Death.
☆⚠️N.B.⚠️☆ If you have not read books 1-6 or beyond in the Nate Series my thoughts in the next 2 paragraphs # 1) & 2). could be potentially spoilers, (I'm not sure) but skip if you wish.
1).When I read about the Temple's 'Master' library cavern, my jaw literally hit the floor. I thought I was gonna die from all my book 'geek-esses' dreams come true! A library like that just does something to a gal, you know? Like the way a Rock Star makes girls in the audience turn to mush by strumming those strings & making love to his guitar or the how a Singer makes love to his mike stand while waxing those poetic lyrics?
Well I think Shayne Silver’s just gave me my 1st “Book-gasam’, but then hearing about the lost Library of Alexandria, and my world was totally rocked, mind blown & if at a concert I'd be screaming, Yes Maestro, Yes after lightning a cigarette (not that I smoke, its bad 4 the health)!
2).Thinking about it, It completely & utterly blew my mind, the purple flames emitting no heat + the Waterfall of water not being wet or adding dampness in a cavern + purple is a colour often associated with the Wizard Merlin + where there’s Merlin, King Arthur's not far behind + there's a 'Round Table' = Every readers mind must have been coming to the same conclusions 'Purple Flames' 'Merlin, 'Arthur' 'The Round Table' = Camelot?

I'm an so in love with Shayne Silvers,
But in saying that, Lexy you can keep him. We all know he's yours anyway, I just want him 4 a good time...I mean for his brain, his books, and a damn good read!
The ultimate in a tri-urban fantasy series you can get lost in for weeks and months not just hours or days. Brilliant Author, Brilliant Narrator, but it took a bit of more than 1 Audio to get into Joel 4 me, but there's no going back now!
The Nate Temple Series is The Ultimate Conflict between forces of light & dark, good & bad.
Nate's journey of self discovery is completely underway, he was an arrogant ass who had it all, fame, fortunate power, money, an eidetic memory & a smart mouth, but overtime now he's grown, developing into that man with a code of ethics, morals, truth, protection & justice.
Fighting firstly his own consciousness of right & wrong & realising that he's not always right & coming to grips with that journey of self discovery, his magic's, the toys, the weapons & the position he's been destined to play by others.

Tiny Gods Has To Be My Favourite Shayne Silvers Book To Date.
Its literally to die for as the author tries to kill you with comedic skits that feel never ending!
I spent the first 2 chapters of this book/audio laughing, sounding like a donkey braying while having an asthma attack, then threw my neck out whiplash style with my body jerking back & forth in fits of giggles which in due course caused my sleeping puppy to jump all over & maul me, joining in thinking she was missing out on the jubilation (which in turn became true tears of physical pain)!
Seriously this book/audio is that good you'll spit your spine out laughing while fighting through the tears of hilarity cascading down your face as you desperately try to read the words through the blinding tears that freely flow throughout chapters 3 & 4.
Greatest start to 'The Book Of All-Time!' Definitely 4 of the best chapters I've ever read, now to complete the rest.
I think my body hates you both Shayne Silvers & Joel Richards! It aches all over & I'm only 4 chapters in of ah toe-tah-lee gut-busting side-splitting riotous scream fest!
OMG, The talents of Joel Richards' is 'Off The Scale!' His dark, gravelly tones are the perfect choice for such an iconic anti-hero, one whose slowly undertaking a metamorphosis of sorts. Finding his way in the world of Freaks (those with powers & abilities) & Regulars (normal humans) finding out who & what Nate Temple truly is or meant to be while trying to do the right thing.
Protecting both species, his city & her people while taking out the bad guy's one at a time.
And to think I actually almost sent Boxset # 2 back to Audible after listening to Beast Master (book 5).
I'm not sure if it was me, (being unwell) Joel (as a 1st time listener), the story or listening to the narration too slow or a combination of all 4, but Silvers' Freaky Facebook Family, 'The Den of Freaks' convinced me to hang in & give Joel another shot citing I wouldn't be sorry!
I didn't listen to Silver Tongue (audio book 4) as I'd forgotten I'd bought the boxset way back.
And I'm so grateful I posted my thoughts to the group now, as I would have missed out on the Best Book by far in the Nate Temple series to date!
I cannot believe the differences from how I felt reading/listening to book 5 Beast Master to how I felt reading Tiny Gods.
With Zany Silvers & Gold Richards to the Rescue, it felt like a totally different author, narrator & series. Like Day & Night , Gold & Silver, but in ahh toe-tah-lee awesome way!
I don't think the small sample snippet of Joel Richards narrating the Nate Temple books on Audible really does him Justice. I didn't like the sound, but realised I had to adapt the speed higher in order to throughly love it.
The great thing with audible, if you don't like it they will replace the book or credit. I bought it thinking no harm, no foul,
if I didn't like it, it would be replace.
I now say always give a series, author or narrator a real go, don't just go by the tiny snippet, I'd doesn't always do the narrator justice. Or these been some I thought geez I love the sound of this, only to despise it!
'GOLD' 'FREAKING EPIC', 'OUTSTANDING PERFOMANCES ALL ROUND!'
Some of the most brilliantly writing & narrating yet, action packed, die laughing car chase scenes, packed full of Silvers' super sharp snark, shade slinging, slays I've ever read. With Magic & mind blowing gob smackers that just blow your lid!
Joel voices every character to perfection. I love his rendition of Death.
☆⚠️N.B.⚠️☆ If you have not read books 1-6 or beyond in the Nate Series my thoughts in the next 2 paragraphs # 1) & 2). could be potentially spoilers, (I'm not sure) but skip if you wish.
1).When I read about the Temple's 'Master' library cavern, my jaw literally hit the floor. I thought I was gonna die from all my book 'geek-esses' dreams come true! A library like that just does something to a gal, you know? Like the way a Rock Star makes girls in the audience turn to mush by strumming those strings & making love to his guitar or the how a Singer makes love to his mike stand while waxing those poetic lyrics?
Well I think Shayne Silver’s just gave me my 1st “Book-gasam’, but then hearing about the lost Library of Alexandria, and my world was totally rocked, mind blown & if at a concert I'd be screaming, Yes Maestro, Yes after lightning a cigarette (not that I smoke, its bad 4 the health)!
2).Thinking about it, It completely & utterly blew my mind, the purple flames emitting no heat + the Waterfall of water not being wet or adding dampness in a cavern + purple is a colour often associated with the Wizard Merlin + where there’s Merlin, King Arthur's not far behind + there's a 'Round Table' = Every readers mind must have been coming to the same conclusions 'Purple Flames' 'Merlin, 'Arthur' 'The Round Table' = Camelot?

But in saying that, Lexy you can keep him. We all know he's yours anyway, I just want him 4 a good time...I mean for his brain, his books, and a damn good read!
The ultimate in a tri-urban fantasy series you can get lost in for weeks and months not just hours or days. Brilliant Author, Brilliant Narrator, but it took a bit of more than 1 Audio to get into Joel 4 me, but there's no going back now!
The Nate Temple Series is The Ultimate Conflict between forces of light & dark, good & bad.
Nate's journey of self discovery is completely underway, he was an arrogant ass who had it all, fame, fortunate power, money, an eidetic memory & a smart mouth, but overtime now he's grown, developing into that man with a code of ethics, morals, truth, protection & justice.

A snarky brutal romp
Mr Silver's deserves all the praise and laudits for this series! I am a voracious reader, poor reviewer, and complete fan! With this series he demonstrates that. He is able to and does write in the company of some heavy hitters.
I have read all the Temple books in just 3 days with very little sleep, any author that can get that king of commitment from me earnings my respect.
Are the books a bit formulaic ? (The reason this is only a 4 star review) Yes but the continuous infusion of fresh characters and the dynamic of Team Temple manage to carry these books even with the cookie cutter novel outlining.
I understand there are 5 more installments due this year...... I for one will be one of the first in line
Final criticism, the ending for this installment was too abrupt. I get the whole cliffhanger thing but even another few pages with an epilogue or at least a less abrupt or more polished ending would have been to my likiing
You're doing great Shayne, don't let your eagerness to get books written and published make you not notice the little things.

Nate never disappoints
Just when you think that Nate Temple's life couldn't get any crazier, well, there you go, thinking again. Nate is the poster boy of "Cheer up, your life could be worse." Luckily, his heart is, usually, in the right place and he has a loyal group of friends who are almost as crazy as he is. In this exciting episode of the Templeverse, Nate and the gang must thwart the attempts of his crazy ancestor and ex-fiance to awaken a sleeping god in their bid for revenge. As usual, events escalate at a dizzying pace until "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" takes on new and ironic meaning. Indie shows off a new level of crazy and alarming disregard for Nate and his past with her likeminded focus on revenge. I have about zero sympathy for her at this point. It will be interesting to see how Nate plays it going forward.

Silvers has pressed determinedly for continued growth and escalation for his characters, and each book shows him pushing higher and going further each time to the point where he doesn't even attempt to meet the standard of his prior novels but pushes past them to set the bar anew. Tiny Gods is the most violently chaotic one yet in terms of emotions, questions answered and new questions taking their place left and right as enemies and allies are popping up in droves with little to no true indications of which is which. And rather than staying pressed to sub-plot material Nate's relationships are the very core of everything happening, making him question whether doing the right thing is even possible when he has no idea what the right thing even is anymore, and in regards to who.
Though again pressed mostly to support roles, his deeply developed cast of allies still maintain a thoroughly involved presence through the whole book, and the theme of everything turning out to be more than he could have thought extends to most of them, especially in regards to his family members, alive and dead, and the truth behind his ex-fiancee Indie's motivations and goals in working against him. In scrambling to try and save everybody, it is becoming clear that Nate has to decide what lines he draws with whom and to what lengths he is willing to go to keep the peace as opposed to what he will or won't do when it comes to the ones he loves. The ending is abrupt, but not insulting or unsatisfying in execution and sets up the stakes for the next book in terms of even greater escalation and further questions into who will stand by who when the battles come, and who will remain when the dust settles.
Overall, Silvers has set the stage to reach for greater heights with the next book, making one wonder just how far it will go before the ending finally hits. This is not one to be missed, and the series only keeps improving.

**This book should come with a health warning!!!** The laugh out loud moments will make you look like a crazy person and the fast pace will have you neglecting your family, household chores and even your personal hygiene.
Tiny Gods is the sixth book in the Nate Temple series and it does not disappoint. In actuality it is faster paced than its predecessors and in my opinion the sarcasm is more plentiful and the funny dialogue more hilarious.
Shayne Silvers is a guy you would want to have a beer with as he manages to put sarcasm and childish humour into everything seemingly without effort, making the reader laugh and repeat the jokes to others!
Tiny Gods follows on with Nate’s story after Beast Master. So why did Indie steal Nate’s cane containing his beast? What is Mallory’s secret and how does Nate manage his feelings about being offered the horseman gig?
The author answers these questions with big surprises and shocks for the reader. I honestly did not see some of these things coming! For one he gets a gift from the Mad Hatter that will certainly affect his journey!
Nate continues to have the poorest luck but his group of friends/sidekicks continue to help him along the way even if there is eye rolls on occasions!
All our favourite characters remain, Pandora, the Horsemen, Asterion, Achilles, Gunnar and Carl to name a few and they are developed well in line with the story allowing the reader to love or loathe them even more. There is a new character introduced that had me jumping for joy (literally)and screaming in a very flamboyant way! Genius!
Tiny Gods is very fast paced with many secrets revealed but more created. It is well written and funny and leaves the reader hanging on for more. I honestly couldn’t recommend this book anymore and will miss the crew until book seven is released'

"i need you to grab my balls." ... "no! just one ball at a time. they're fragile, and sweaty. sonya, grab the other one. just hold it. carefully. like a baby bird."
"hold nate's sweaty balls! like a baby bird!" she closed her eyes as she slid her hand over the sweaty flesh, and carefully grasped my ball- magical sphere.
... i needed to focus on my balls - magical spheres.
... "okay, i need to throw my balls on the ground, but we need to be far away."
... "nate, we're going ninety miles an hour, dodging bullets. i can't just stop. can't you, i don't know, magically swing your sweaty balls or something?"
"not a good idea. they're unstable. and slippery." (an entertaining scene involving magical spheres, not testicles).
"as if reading my thoughts, the hatter began to frown at me. i hastily threw up a shield, barring my thoughts from intrusion. "i'm not hiding anything," i said respectfully.
"typically when people start off with a statement like that, they are very literally hiding something," the hatter replied testily.
i held out a hand. "no. i have some things to ask you, and i don't want you jaded by my thoughts. i want to hear your opinions. not your opinion of my opinions."
"that might be the wisest thing you've ever said to me."
i sensed someone standing near me as i lay in bed. i instantly rolled off, struck the nightstand with my nose, and fell on my back, knocking the wind out of me. "here comes an ass whipping," i wheezed to the intruder.
"christ! his face looks like a circumcision gone bad."
"like rumpled foreskin..." (referring to the mangled face of rumpelstiltskin)
"you cannot touch my sacred wood."
"he's right, i can't tap into his wood... tree."

This made-up word, Gnossienne (the flash of awareness that you really don't know the people you thought you should know best - from John Koenig's Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows website), is something Nate Temple should be able to relate to fully after the events of Tiny Gods. No doubt some of the revelations he hears are things he should expect given what his life has been like lately, and some are things he has asked for, or at least wants to know, but others he must find as confusing as we do.
In this book, we finally find out who Mallory is, and the Mad Hatter. And we finally find out why Indie is so psychotically determined to destroy the Syndicate. There are many hints about who the Syndicate is, but nothing that fully explains them as far as I am concerned.
As always with Nate and his friends, we build toward a final battle. This time the ultimate battle is between the Academy and the Syndicate, even though they temporarily agree to work together on part of it to defeat Ichabod’s plan to awaken a god (an event promised to be as bad as a nuclear war).
Many of the magical beings of Nate’s universe are injured, and a few are killed. We aren’t sure who won if anybody. And talk about your plot twists at the ending! It looks like we won’t know until the next book.

Enough already with Indie!!! Spoiler alert
This series is hands down awesome but as with everything in life not perfect. For a genius with a memory bank to rival the internet he misses to many clues and hints a lil far fetched that he's ALWAYS so confused about what is really going on. in this book we find out what has caused Indie to go to the dark side and it's Ridiculous to the point of almost losing me all together. For 1 as I previously mentioned he misses things like why would he just stand there while she was reaching for the HOD? A lil far fetched and maybe I'm callous but so her mother is murdered and that justifies killing children and everything else she's done? And why would she not have gone to him or he'll even told Nate about it? Makes no sense. Then when she finally does tell him she acts like he could not possible understand her pain. If im not mistaken wasnt BOTH of his parents killed by these ppl? There is 15 books in this series so far I've read up to the 6th and other than Indie I love this series so with hope and faith in the author I WILL read the 7th but if we do not get some answers to all these questions and closure on the bitch I'm probably going to move on.

Action packed thrill ride
Tiny Gods is my favorite book to date in the series. So many questions answered but so many more left unanswered and new ones unfurled.
It's amazing that this is book 6 and still no signs of the series faultering or going stale. Each book continues to build upon the foundation of Nate's life but retains a fresh story line and expanding characters. He hasn't lost his snark but the stakes have been upped and he has started to resort to drastic measures. I mean come on...when you have to put on the horsemans mask because the proveriable crap has gotten that deep and you need the juice it provides to kick-butt means the situation is serious! How much deeper can this wizard go before his enemies realize you can't beat Nate. Back him into a corner and it just makes him that much more determined! He will do anything necessary to win this war!
I would like to see more of Van Helsing in the future and was disappoint he didn't play a bigger role in this book.

Wow!
All the major characters are all there, including Mad Hatter. Knowing who he really is, oh boy. I think the biggest surprised was - oh my gosh?? Mallory is who, or what?? I was shocked for sure, but I now finally understand why he is so important. Mallory has been with Team Nate since the first book.
It seems that Nate no matter what tries to do the right thing. What a awesome fight/get together was! Like one big pissed off family. Nate finds out more about his family tree. Ex-girlfriend finally goes off the deep end. Nate has been holding out hope that she will come back to him.
Having read the first 4 books, it was easy to fall back into book 5 because you know the characters. Still it doesn't take Nate long to muddy things up. But it doesn't take long for something to go so wrong to be so super funny!

All the major characters are all there, including Mad Hatter. Knowing who he really is, oh boy. I think the biggest surprised was - oh my gosh?? Mallory is who, or what?? I was shocked for sure, but I now finally understand why he is so important. Mallory has been with Team Nate since the first book.
It seems that Nate no matter what tries to do the right thing. What a awesome fight/get together was! Like one big pissed off family. Nate finds out more about his family tree. Ex-girlfriend finally goes off the deep end. Nate has been holding out hope that she will come back to him.

Book 6 of the Nate Temple series. Great book. Awesome series.
I just love the characters and the author is super creative and even though it's book 6, the story is ever-changing, there's always a new twist, an unexpected. In this book, we just had a humdinger of a cliffhanger. So once again, I'm excited to start the next book when it's available
I still think the thing I appreciate the most in regards to the author's writing is his ability to incorporate humor. It's witty, dry humor which leans toward snarky and juvenile but more than not it's all in fun with his friends or it's sarcastic and vengeful meant to think somebody off. There's no doubt though that the humorous banter makes it seem like real life conversations. That's how realistic it is. And I truly appreciate this cleverness and skill.
