I have been following Sajals tweets a lot, so I already had a lot of it covered. But, yet I found this book helpful because it had structured it really well.

What I really liked from this book was the way Sajal has taken disparate ideas from various thinkers, structured and applied it to life sciences industry. Especially about assessing how managements think and use optionalities to their advantage.

One feedback is that it might not be explicitly clear to someone that this book looks at things more from a investing point of view.

Also note that I am biased because I have studied fundamental investing/value investing a lot and might have already incorporated someways of thinking of Sajal through his tweets.
So I might have found the book relatively easier to read than someone who is a novice to these topics. For example, someone new to the investing might not intuitively understand financial statements , return ratios and valuations.

Last but not the least, Sajal left a note about wanting to write a book about management culture that fosters innovation. This is a topic that is of my deep interest and would seriously urge him to write the book.

Looking to re-read this book in a few months.

Very average, lacks depth. More of opinions than facts and data. Last 3 appendices are the highlight, very good. Too expensive, not worth it.

This book is really a niche-deepcut-explainer for those interested in investing in Indian pharma companies-specifically-API/CDMO companies and how they are poised for asymmetric growth.

I have religiously consumed every single second of the endless hours of free content Sajal Sir has selflessly put out through various podcasts and webinars-so this felt more like a polish up-exaggerated by the fact that I’ve read Nassim Taleb’s Incerto series twice!

Truly a NCE of a book if you’re a first time reader-it’ll ferment a lot of ideas in your brain-if lucky-it’ll clear phase 3 trials-turning you into a exclusive innovator CDMO for investment ideas-leading to uneven but massive cash flows 😅

Thank you sir!
