Securely Insecure: A story of love, loss and unbreakable friendship
In the novel Securely Insecure, four strangers meet at a Delaware college in the hope of leaving their abusive childhoods in the past. Lynnie, Myra, Jessica, and Amanda are kindred spirits, soon forming an unbreakable bond through a shared commonality of trauma. As the women journey through life, their past haunts them, these challenges only triggering their traumas, exploiting their most vulnerable insecurities.
The friendship bonds are tested when terrible circumstances change the friends’ dynamic, their legal and emotional ramifications irreparable. Through journeys of tragedy, loss, grief, love, and, eventually, redemption and growth, the four women learn hard lessons from their past, ultimately discovering that while you cannot change your circumstances, you can set a new trajectory for your future.

It’s a great story! I felt like I was among close friends. I have recommended it to my book club. It was interesting to follow the path Donna Lynn took. Well organized and fun to read. So far everyone in my book club loves it and finds it hard to put down.

This book draws you in from the start! There are so many twists and turns that is unexpected. This has been one of my favorite books I have read in years. Every person I recommend it to reads it and raves about it! The plot never stops surprising! Great story, great writing, great twists!!

Couldn’t put it down
Love and loss effects us all but to read it so poetically put left me with a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye.
