The girl is annoying AF.

He amado con todo mi corazón esta historia. Muchas veces digo que amo el romance, pero realmente, lo que más amo es el cómo se construye una relación antes de llegar hasta ahí. Y Moonshine, sin ninguna duda, logra reflejar maravillosamente ese desarrollo entre Liv y Joshua.

Los dos protagonistas son muy diferentes; Liv, optimista, social, amable y perseverante. Joshua, sin embargo, es realista (tirando a pesimista), gruñón, antisocial y cauteloso. Cualquiera creería que no están hechos para conectar, y sin embargo, a medida que pasa el tiempo, lo terminan haciendo, aunque no sin dificultad. El desarrollo de su relación a través de la confianza y la sinceridad es gradual. Pero no gradual en un sentido matemático de una línea recta. Es gradual, pero con curvas. Especialmente, en relación a Joshua, que de los dos, es el que más debe cambiar y aprender. Y sinceramente, que sea así y siga cagándola cada cierto tiempo a pesar de su mejoría, hace que la historia se sienta todavía más realista.

Tal vez me he quedado con un poco de ganas de conocer más sobre el mundo exterior y las verdaderas razones detrás del apagón. Sin embargo, teniendo en cuenta que ese no es el foco de la historia, no me molesta del todo no saberlo.

My favorite book. Maybe I haven't read that many yet, but this book will always have a special place in my heart.
I'm a total nerd for apocalyptic and dystopian stuff! And I looooove romance books. So THIS was the GOOD stuff. This was perfect. Definitely more romance than apocalyptic but that's what I love.
And I love enemies to lovers, grumpy x sunshine and the trope where the guy is kinda inexperienced about love and doesn't really care about it. So this book was perfect for me!
MASTERPIECE in my opinion!

Interesting concept with a power outage and not a zombie apocalypse. The cover kept throwing me off because the main mc is supposed to be this huge dude, big enough to rival the size of a bear and the cover is an average tall guy. I also didn't like the ending, I wish it was William (was he named William, Joshua's rival?) that he had fought and killed. The romance was pretty slow burn but decent, and the nickname of "squirrel" was a cute touch.

This was everything you could want in a post-apocalyptic romance

I liked her character bc it was so honest. She kept her personality through out the book and while I understand why some readers may find her annoying it was refreshing to read about a fmc that is truly a unique character.

For 5 stars I would have needed a lil more tho

Christian apocalypse romance. I also didn't like the ending - why would you set up the story villain and then not use him in the final act? Like some other random group is the bad guys and not the one you've built up tension with the whole book?

Okay so I read this book on Kindle Unlimited, and I have to say I absolutely loved it! It was exactly what I needed. And it got me out of a reading slump. I really enjoyed both characters, and they behaved like read people. I believed them every step of the way. I finished it in 3 days, and I’m a slow reader!
