TROLL Part One is an erotic short of 3,300 words. Includes graphic sexual content.
Twenty-one-year-old Kyla Adkins frequents the Internet in search of her soul mate.
While online, she meets hot and devilishly handsome Justin Brogan. Dangerous, arrogant and quite psychotic, Justin hacks into Kyla's computer and soon he controls everything, including her heart and her life.
A touching love story, with wonderful protagonists. These two were clearly meant to be together, considering there were no other characters in this story.
Ten outta ten, ten outta ten, best book. Book of the year, Book of the century. I love Jesus, and want more of this series. We need 20 more novels, all written this exact same way.
Justin is the man of my dreams, and that's not saying much. Kyla, who's name I totally remembered and didn't have to go back and check, is a role model for college kids like me. I lvoe her, and I want her to find happiness. Happpiness w/ Just In.
Who cares if he broke into her house? Live is love. IT WILL FIND A WAY
Oh my lord - this was bad... - No spoiler tag because it's not worth it. I got interested in it since I saw Jenny Nicholson's review of the whole story on Youtube, and when I noticed it was free to read, I decided to do so (because there's NO way I'd pay money for this).
SO MANY QUESTIONS in this "book"! - Seriously:
- Why would his message intrigue her? She just kept thinking "wow this is interesting to me LOL WEIRD RITE!!?" but we never actually get to know why she's interested in what he wrote.
- Why didn't she block him when he kept being disgusting and weird? She just kept being triggered and slightly mad but never took any action against him.
- Why the interested in "baddies"? Some backstory? No? Nothing? Why is she suddenly attracted to him? Because he's hot?
- Why did she wait a fucking WEEK before turning the computer on again? What did she do during that time, since she was talking about chat rooms as a hobby, something she enjoyed doing?
- I can understand the hacking being over the top if it's a story that's allowing it, like a children's story or a sci fi-story, but everything else is so normal that when he's suddenly there with "lol I hacked you and can hear you and shut everything down" I just burst out laughing.
- WHY did she fall asleep!? When her computer was on again, how about contacting police that way? Or someone else? How about blocking him then? Doing something? But no - She had to sleep so the story could progress.
- Even the sex and masturbation was badly written. He's suddenly on her computer screen jerking off, and she just watches? I kept seeing her leaning in and staring at the computer screen with a " :O "-face on the entire time because the author never explained what she was doing while he was jerking off. Also, the sex message he wrote to her was disgusting and weird, but no way in such a way that she would react the way she did. "EW! Nasty! Worst I've ever seen! I kinda like it~"
- No personality - in either of them. He was a bad boy, who could hack, looked extremely good and had a big dick. The term "Gary Stu" comes to mind. She was overweight and blonde and didn't like her job. That's all I got from them.
Will I read the next parts in this? - Hell no. Should anyone read this? - Hell no.
The author should take a few courses, study more books and more erotica by other people and come back when she's done so. This really isn't worth to be a published book, it's very subpar, and could easily be compared to the types of erotica stories you can find online.
Looking for an impactful, touching, heartwarming love story to bring you that much-needed warm, fuzzy Christmas joy and spirit?
Please keep looking, because this book is far from impactful or heartwarming, takes place in the summertime, and the only touching that ensues is quite frankly, the disturbing kind. Scratch that, this book is actually rather impactful as it made me want to hurl many sturdy bricks at the pages. I'm no physicist, but that creates an impact, right?
From our painfully insipid and excruciatingly stupid protagonist Kyla Adams to the most swoon-worthy love interest you'll ever meet, Justin or GeniusOne, rather― you know what, let's talk about Justin for a bit. Justin is a rather, er, versatile love interest who spits romantic gems ranging from "Great boobs you have" to “First I hacked into the TCL site by exploiting an XSS security breach. Then I injected a script into my profile page. After you looked at my profile, I gathered your login information, got your real name, email, and from that point I was able to get your physical address, birth date. I remotely installed software on your computer that let me stream this live video.” I would also wish to respectfully add that if I see the word "spurt" one more time, the prospect of gouging my eyes out wouldn't seem totally unreasonable.
And they say romance is dead.
I know I've said this before, in like another review, but seriously. Who in the name of True Christian Love publishes these?
Well, that's what I get for not reading the blurb. All I saw was the cover and the listing under horror and erotica genres. So with me and my freaky mind, I was expecting hot troll action.
But it was only a cyber troll to my slight disappointment.
This is a super short read so I'll try not to give too much away. We have our heroine, Kyla, who likes to visit a dating site to scope herself out a man. She comes across Justin. He's hot, dirty-minded, and full of himself. Sounds pretty good to me. But there's something about him that turns her off and on at the same time. She tries to blow him off (not in that way, get your head out of the gutter) but he's pretty insistent. In fact, he goes as far as hacking into her computer and giving her a little show.
Even though he's a web weirdo, she still can't stop thinking about him.
We come to a point where he goes too far and starts to really freak her out.
The book ends abruptly and with quite the cliffhanger. This little shorty of a story has piqued my interest and I can't wait to find out what the little troll does next.
If you love Fifty Shades, What he Wants, Twilight, and other mildly uncomfortable literature, this will be fitting in with your collection. It's so creepy, badly written, and forced that it's uncomfortable to even read three chapters.
Basically a rape stockholm story minus any conflict or real drama, and beyond bad. Nothing like a man hacking you and forcing you to watch him do a strip-tease and get the girl while violating her rights to start the night.
Ugh! I just wrote a detailed review and was ousted from this page and I lost the whole thing. For the sake of time, I'll write an abbreviated version. Emma Clark, I like. Her male leads disturbing, scary and a little sexy. Female characters: REALLY bad taste in men. All makes or a good read!
Why?! Why did it have to end at such a pivotal point in the story? This short, as her previous have been, show her skill as a writer. Even though the story is extremely short, it felt like hours within the story because of the detail of the characters. They are fleshed out to a tee. Not only are certain scenes steamy, but when they are aren't, they are psychologically intense.
Definitely an out-of-the-box story for those who want sex with a little scare.
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.
Lonely and seeking companionship the main character goes to a Christian dating site. What she finds is a very forward male who invades not only her computer but her mind and her life. I nearly screamed when the book ended from wanting to read more and having it end at such a pivotal moment. Definitely want to read book 2.
I read all 4 in the series. The writing is fast and furious. Very to the point. I need that sometimes. This series left on a hanger. I want to know the rest. Will we ever get the rest?

So I bought this as a set of four- The blurb got me! It's about a girl who goes to an on line date sight to meet people and comes across a nice looking guy who's very smart with the computer and just happens to hack her's- An ohh how very quickly things escalate- there little novels- quick reads for sure- but very good...4 Stars
It was creepy, gripping, dark and I absolutely loved it. The way in which it ended is perfect for drawing readers in to reading the next book in the series, however I would have preferred for it to have been just one book and not split into multiple parts.
I failed to realize this was only '18 pages' long... or short. I'll finish part dos and if there's a three i'll read that little sucker too... THEN i shall rate.:D
