Ivy Robins lives an average life in the city, working diligently without much time for romance or adventure. But when she travels to the small town of Paisley to spend time with her widowed sister, everything changed.
When she volunteers to bring her sister's daughter to kindergarten one morning, she meets her niece's teacher, the most gorgeous man she'd ever seen. She is charmed by the way he works with the children -and the tight body his clothes cling to. He asks her out on a date and she agrees. But when his clothes come off after dinner, Ivy sees his chest is covered in a huge tattoo that he brushes off as a "college mistake."
Who was he before he became a kindergarten teacher? Why is a sweet kindergarten teacher such a beast in bed?
Ivy finds herself struggling to decide whether her relationship with Lucas is worth all of the lies and secrecy. As she finds herself falling deeper into a world of danger and darkness, she realizes maybe Lucas is not merely a kindergarten teacher after all.
Ok ummm weird book Lily/Ivy (get it right lol) and Lucas had no real spark or connection to me and so much was left unsaid very weird indeed....I thought Lucas was a panther shape shifter the whole time lol....turns out he was just a fighter what the heck lol....was disappointed simply in that lol......weird book....although I will probably read the next one guess I need my weirdness fix lol.....and it ended in kinda of a cliff hanger....now I see the little paragraph hint you get is that he's a beast sexually that's where I deduced he was a shape shifter lol....watch your wording geez got me all excited for nothin
I liked it. It was kind of short and the writing could have been better but the story was good. Is there another book following? I couldn't find any information about that. There is a happy ending (sort of anyway) but then the epiloge revealed something that left me in a place that made sure for me to doubt in a HEA right then and there. So I hope there is more.
I was really disappointed with this, their are spelling errors throughout and words missing so sentences don't make sense and it lacks depth. I think the actual storyline has potential but just was not written well.
How can a editor or publisher manage to screw up the main characters name. So many times in this book she suddenly was called Lily instead of Ivy. So many incorrect words it was outrageous.
