Very thorough, providing a ton of information regarding just about every possible scenario. I found it very helpful in starting and finishing the process. If you are claiming Social Security prior to applying for Medicare and have only routine health care needs, then you may not find this book necessary at the present time, but for someone who is not claiming SS and who may have unique financial or health care situations then I recommend taking the time to read it.

I found the information provided in this book very easy to understand and covers a mulitude of issues and the pitfalls to be aware of. It helps that the author is a recognized authority on Medicare. Keep up the good work.
