This short story is a positive delight, very hot, and amusingly quirky. Take one woman who struggled for years to keep her marriage intact being dumped by her husband. He flat out proclaimed: I'm not going to be tied down to a dyke. Add a second woman who is a bit mysterious and utterly turned on by woman number one's near complete innocence in her eagerness to "test out" a lesbian encounter. That was usually a major turn off for woman number two. However, I would say the services of Madame Evangeline from 1Night Stand: Desires fulfilled have just been brilliantly coordinated. Let the "Night" begin!
Ellen needs to know if she just has an itch that needs scratching and exorcising or if her internal sexual wiring is really finally coming to the surface. She has to face this innermost dilemma and boldly put her faith in Madame Evangeline's seemingly serendipitous service. However, when her totally sexy partner appears on the scene at the amazingly well appointed suite with a knockout ocean view, Ellen gets cold feet big time. I was downright charmed by Ellen and rooting for her 100 percent!
Aimee is, from my perspective, just what Ellen needs right now! She takes control, convinces Ellen she is broadcasting her desires quite effectively and smoothly moves them past the awkward introduction stage and right into the bedroom. Aimee is spot on about how to the set the scene and to move things along rather smartly from opening hellos to naked and panting. Oh yes, let the f**king begin!
Want to have a birds-eye view of what a predominantly successful one-night stand looks and feels like? Well, hold on to your seat, stay the course, and ride all the waves and waves of orgasmic highs. Then, if I may be so bold as to say, be as completely flabbergasted as I was at this story's startling resolution. Allow me to raise my champagne glass to the heavens and give my entire stamp of approval to this smart, sexy, and oh so satisfying short story. Enjoy!

Sometimes the best way to shake up an old, tired routine is by trying something out of your comfort zone, but little does Ellen know exactly how much one night could change her life.
The sizzling chemistry between Ellen and Aimee is not to be missed. Their personalities complement one another perfectly, and the spark between them is evident as soon as they meet. Ellen’s sexual innocence and Aimee’s world-weary demeanour blend together beautifully, especially when they take advantage of their strengths in the bedroom.
Ms. Kade has a smooth writing style that makes it hard for me to stop reading. Her descriptions of her character’s bodies, surroundings, and feelings are so colorful that it’s as if she’s packed a novel’s worth of experiences into a short story. She has a sharp eye for detail that works incredibly well in such a limited amount of space.
What really earned this tale it’s 5 star rating, though, was the witty, playful dialogue. I expected to read some hot scenes, but I never thought I’d be as amused as I was by how these characters express their personalities in everything they do and don’t say. I don’t know if Ms. Kade is planning to write a sequel, but I would be very interested in catching up with Aimee and Ellen again soon if there are any more adventures planned for them.
Exposing Ellen is the perfect tidbit for anyone in the mood for something short, sexy, and fun. It’s the kind of story I can see myself returning to over and over again.

This is one book that I went into thinking it was going to be a quick one-off, something to get me thorough to my next book. I expected nothing of this book. Was I so wrong. I ended up enjoying this. A woman gets dumped by her husband, and she decided to have a one night stand with a woman to prove she's "not into women." (That's never going to end well!) The woman she hooks up with is just looking for a one night stand until she finds Ms. Right. (Well, that's never going to end well either!) Put those two ladies together and you get...well, a nice little, unexpectedly sweet and sexy story. I liked it.
Three stars.
