The saga continues as Meredith’s sister, Remy, heals her soul and rediscovers herself in Blueberry Bay. Another uplifting story by Amazon #1 bestselling author, Ellen Joy, that’s sure to have you feeling like you're a part of this charming seacoast town.
Remy desperately wants to start a new life after her divorce. She has plenty of support from her family, but living off her sister isn't exactly what she has in mind. Now that she’s out from under her ex’s thumb, she wants to make a life for herself, start a family, and feel like more than just someone’s assistant.
With few options, she takes a job at a downtown market, managed by the owner's son, a grouchy, but ruggedly-handsome fisherman. He and Remy get off to a rough start after a disastrous first meeting and things only get worse when she tries to make changes to help the struggling market.
But as the two work together, and learn about each other’s pasts, they discover that they’re more alike than they think and feelings are sparked. But Remy has another suitor and she isn’t sure if either of these guys will fit into what she wants from her new life. Will a matchmaking niece be enough to get these opposites to attract?

Ellen lives in a small town in New England, between the Atlantic Ocean and the White Mountains. She lives with her husband, two sons, and one very spoiled puppy princess.
Ellen writes in the early morning hours before her family wakes up. When she's not writing, you can find her spending time with her family, gardening with her puppy and chickens, or headed to the beach. She loves summer and flip-flops, running on a dirt country road, and a sweet love song.
All of her stories are clean romances where families are close, neighbors are nosy, and the couples are destined for each other.

I had very high expectations for "The Market on Blueberry Bay," after reading the first book in the new series. I'm pleased to say that the book surpassed all my expectations and then some. Although Meredith and Quinn were introduced as the main characters in the first book, I do hope that Remy and Colby will take a more central role in future books. Ellen Joy is an inspirational author with a remarkable talent for creating stories that touch the heart and soul. The way she weaves together the themes of hope, new beginnings, and second chances is simply magical. Reading this book feels like chicken soup for the soul. With every page turn, you can feel the warmth and love radiating from the characters and their stories. I couldn't help but fall in love with Remy and Colby's relationship. Their conflicted interactions made it impossible not to root for them. The characters are so authentic and relatable that it's like they could be your friends or family. I'm eagerly anticipating the next installment in this series, and I can't wait to see what's next for these characters. If you're looking for a book that will inspire you, uplift your spirit, and leave you feeling warm and fuzzy inside, then this book/series is the perfect choice. Happy reading... Enjoy!
Ellen Joy has done it again with another fantastic series. Her books are well written with likeable characters and storylines that touch your heart. Remy is starting over after her divorce and comes to live with her sister. With not many options for work in the small town, she gets a job at the local market. Remy and Colby start off on the wrong foot, but their story is so real. Colby is raising his niece Sadie after her mom left. He would rather be out on the water lobster trapping but is stuck at the market. Colby gives Remy more responsibility when she proves she can manage the market better than anyone. The relationship between Remy, Colby and Sadie is so well done. I can't wait to read more from Ellen Joy! I received an advance copy of this book, and this is my honest review.
This is the second book in the series from #1 best selling author Ellen Joy. This story follows Meredith's sister Remy and Colby the owner of the Market. This book was amazing, I could not put it down. The continuance of the characters from the first book brings it all together. Remy has dreamed of being a mom, however, she was unable to conceive. She arrives in Blueberry Bay to help her sister, but ultimately escapes a loveless marriage.
This is a heartwarming story of finding happiness , and letting go of past hurts. With well developed characters, this book is inspirational, and the realism of everyday life. I love the pace of the book.
Ellen Joy is a gifted author, and I can't wait to start the next book in the series.
I really enjoyed how Remy grew and gained strength in this story as she went from being Mrs. Joe Moretti to being Remy Johnson. I liked that she found herself through her family, working at the fish market, and through the town of Blueberu Bay in Maine.
It was so fun to see how she met Colby at The Market and how they had both misjudged each other. Remy's ideas were infectious in the story. I was so glad her dream finally came true. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
I loved how Remy picked herself up after her divorce and became independent. I love her spirit! The story how she and Colby fell in love was special. And Sadie and Matthew… precious. The story of a family made from a fisherman who was a great artist and not well. He left behind a legacy for his daughter that segued into a family.
Once I was into the book, It was a really good story and difficult to put down. It has great character development that I want to hear more about. Well written, filled with moments of compassion, humor, heartache, joy and romance.
I'm loving this new series. The characters seem so real, and interesting and blend well. I've loved all of Ellen Joy's books and highly recommend every one. Can't wait till the next book in this series.
The women in Blueberry Bay are finding themselves and love along the way. This is book 2 and it was a lovely story about finding the path that is meant for you and not everyone else. It was great to see Remy come into her own and make a life for herself.
Remy's life is falling apart, her husband won't listen to her he just wants things to go on with them as two perfect cardboard cut outs rather than deal with the real issues and feelings. She begins working in Blueberry Bay and begins to find herself again and be really happy. Really great book.
I enjoyed Remy’s story but loved her sister Meredith’s story in book one. I have lived in Andover Massachusetts as well as Maine si I felt right at home in the stories.
This is the second book I have read in The Blueberry Bay series. It's all about family and friendship that we have. I am starting the third one this evening. Nothing like a good book to get away from the world.
This book was very good, from devastation to absolute bliss. The author is a very good writer and shows how a woman can struggle with infertility problems. Quick, easy, read for everyone.
As in Book 1, this book is also of finding oneself and excelling at what you need out of life. I love this series, its message, and Ellen's writing. Sadie steals my heart in book 2.
Unanswered questions. What happened to Roland? Not that I minded, but curious about what happened. I'm very happy for the new family and wish them all the best.
Not quite as good as the first in the series, but still fun. There were times when the development of the main character in this one could’ve been more clear, and there’s also some confusing aspects about the turn of events just before the ending. Three stars.
