Timeless Wire Weaving focuses on developing wirework skills through 13 projects using three classic wire weaving coiling, wrapping, and weaving. The projects are built around a focal cabochon and incorporate seed beads and crystals in imaginative ways. Designers learn to make the jewelry shown in the book, and they also use the techniques learned to create innovative jewelry pieces of their own.
Beautiful projects, decent instructions, though i'd like more tips on improvising your own designs around these.
I'm also iffy on their lifespan.
So many of the pieces seem to rely on cutting base wires then cutting short and tucking some for the bail. Which looks great, but I don't think would stand up well to a scarf snag or a toddler grab.
It starts out good and all of the designs are good. It does get repetitious though as most later projects are very similar. Note that I have not completed all of the projects so you can add that to your pros and cons of reading it.
