Uncle Max mostly sounds like a phenomenal Dom; kinky af, amazing dirty talker, sexy evil taskmaster, and the ultimate punisher. Only problem is where’s the consent? (Not that I’m complaining too hard, it’s part of what makes the dynamic so hot.) But mostly, where’s the after care? Can a girl get a little bit of cuddling?!
Congrats to the writer on taking something I fucking hate; ow drama and making it acceptable. Not only was it acceptable it was hot as hell!
According to Uncle Max, what’s good for the goose isn’t good for the gander but at least we had some stuff cleared up in the mean time.
Well that’s one way to fix the fact that grandma is coming home. I appreciate how all the loose ends were tied up (among other things) and of course it was steamy as all get out.

Besides these two parts being separate books, I have no real complaints. The first book was basically all smut, but this one delved into the romance and love side of things, which I loved. It has been a good long while since a book has worked me up as much as this one did the smut was on point, if ya know what I mean. I was happy they got their HEA, and also that the journey to get there wasn't dragged out or fraught with drama.

BUT, if you’re looking for a really well done growth into desires unknown, then this is the story for you. You see, this is the story of Janie discovering herself. And what she discovers is dirty in an oh so goooood way … with Uncle Max!

Confessions part 2 has me feeling a lot like the first did. There are parts I enjoyed but parts I wasn't so keen on.
I have never been one to enjoy the 'Daddy Dom' type of books so it was interesting to try the whole 'uncle' thing but for me in the end I think it just didn't win me over. For me I felt I would have enjoyed it more without this side.
That aside, the bedroom scenes are what you expect from Golden Angel. Hot, intense, addictive and more.
I enjoyed seeing how this story ended, I didn't really expect things to go the way they did but I was intrigued by it all.

We're back to Max and Janie, naughty niece and naughtier uncle, and they are dirty, filthy, obscene, and oh so naughty. It's a really, really hot story. Janie kept trying to distance herself from the depraved things she desired from her uncle, but he had a gravity that kept drawing her back to him, no matter what. Max had a long-term plan for Janie, and he was definitely going to put it into play.
Very hot, very twisted, and oh, so, so, so very hot and taboo. If you can't handle any of that, put the book down and slowly back away. However, if that is your glass of schnapps, then definitely, definitely don't miss this one. You would kick yourself if you did.

I love smut, but this was kinda flat. I'm okay when smut has plot holes but wtf, he masturbates in living room, and she is the one breaching his privacy? That dildo should have been punished for masturbating in living room. And it wasn't like she somehow crazy wanted him, panted after him and was ready to take all the scraps of his attention. It was all just so weird. The dynamic was weird. I didn't feel a thing between the two MCs. And then the nonsense of the book just kept slapping me across the face. No no no.

Okay, so I read book 2 right away. This second book had a lot more dirty scenes than the first, and more emotion was written into the characters.
I recommend reading these books, but don't give up in the first one, as the next one does get a bit better.

This was more filthy fun. Max continues to despoil sweet Janie. Janie finds herself falling for her uncle even though she knows he's a player, and there's a huge age difference, and they're related (although not biologically, which I really appreciated).
