This is a heartfelt book where the gentleman chases her down for her dowry, but finds after courting her that she has found his heart. Unfortunately, Jane has a heart for adventure and there is no way that Nathanial will be able to save his property and finances and take her on a world tour. The author knows how to turn a page and keep from the tedious woe is me that is generally in these kinds of stories. The characters are wonderful and appealing and the chemistry is sizzling.

Wow, Meghan has done it again! I have read most of her books and am never disappointed. This story has so much going on you will not be able to put it down. Suspense, Intrigue, plotting, revenge along with compassion and tons of love and passion too. Jane lost both her parents and being their only child, her father did the unthinkable and left his fortune to her a girl, woman! Now that she is twenty-one every fortune hunter in England is out to win her hand! She must marry to get all her inheritance. With so much money on the line, Jane along with aunt and uncle don’t trust most of the men. Then she meets the over-the-top handsome Nathaniel who will be a Duke one day. She has dreamed of a man with his eyes many times. Unknown to her he needs money after a bad investment made by his father. He has sought her out to woo her to solve his family's problems. He may be just like all the others except he has a conscience and feels using her just for her money is wrong. When he meets her, he knows she is the women of his dreams and now he is more torn by his feeling and his duty. Jane has always dreamed of being like her mother, who traveled all over before marrying her father. Jane loves astronomy and watching the stars and drawing them. She is drawn to Nathaniel as he also loves looking at the stars, traveling and old maps like his father. Ah, but their path is about to get even harder as her cousin, Edward shows up with revenge on his mind. He plans to get even for what happened between his father and hers. He is an evil, underhanded person hiding behind a shy smile. Nathaniel also has a woman from his past, Delilah who wants him for herself no matter what she must do. With so many twists and turns will our couple be strong enough and trust enough when all the secrets come to light? Will the evil ones get what is coming to them? To find out you need to grab this book and get started. There are so many emotions in this story you don’t want to miss it. I know I will go back and reread it again. I received an ARC from the author and wish to thank her. This is my honest opinion and am freely giving it.

Great story!
Nathaniel’s father made a bad investment and lost a lot. He needed to marry for money. He heard about Lady Jane and was told how rich she was. When he first saw her he was captivated. Their eyes just couldn’t stop staring. There definitely was a spark. He felt guilty that he needed the money but he knew he wanted her, he loved her. Her cousin Edward arrived and was trying to make her marry him. There were scandals but Jane held her head high. Please read this story and find out that true love really does exist.

Lady Jane’s story is a very compassion filled story with the loss of her family.And left an Heir to the family money when she marries.And Nathaniel a Marquess suddenly has to take over from his father,when he gets ill.Only to discover it’s because of a bad business deal and no money left.This story involves two other persons and jealousy to get what they want.Well written and throughly enjoyed this delightful tale.

The heroine is an heiress and doesn’t trust the fortune hunters. She wants to travel and explore the stars. The hero is an impoverished noble who must marry for money, but he does have feelings of guilt for using her as such. Enters the villains, her cousin and his former lady friend. This complicates an already complicated situation. This story has several obstacles to overcome before the HEA.
