Stubborn as a Mule
Texas Destiny will get your attention and never let it go. Maddie Cahill wants justice and is determined to get it and see that her and son, Jonah get the help they need. She finally is able to sneak away from her brother in laws and head to Jefferson to get help from Frankie. Trouble is certainly following her and Frankie is the only one she knows who can help her. When the law in Jefferson, learn what’s happening, it all hands on deck. Will Maddie’s Cahill stubbornness get them all killed. Keep reading to find out. This story is full of action and you won’t want to put it down.

Frankie and Maddie. Of course theres Jonah. Hes a lawman and shes the one he once loved who left him without a word or explanation and now is back with a child that suspiciously looks like him. Shes running from her dead husbands family because they are criminals they took over her families ranch thinking it was their right. She runs right to the doorstep of her ex for help. OMG WOW what a story. Lots of danger and intrigue and truths revealed and mended hearts. Loved it.

A series of deaths leaves Maddie alone with his child and in danger from her brothers-in-law. They want the land, and they will not stop at anything or anyone until they get it.
Frankie is astonished when he sees Maddie at his door with a little boy, who looks just like him, asking for help.
This story is a little slow, but it was enjoyable. I liked to read about the rest of the Marshals and their families.
