A nice little insta love palate cleanser. She’s a hacker and basically stalks him. He thinks she’s a man and kidnaps her and then is instantly besotted with her. Mutual pining occurs and then they spend lots of time together and eventually get together. Not much happens. There’s literally no drama. No info on his sexual past but he doesn’t seem like a manwhore at all. I would say he doesn’t get around much. FMC is a virgin. Also! She’s albino! I’ve never read about an albino character before so that was nice having a representation of that. 100% safe. Not sure if I’ll read the rest of the series because they have similar premises but this was a quick easy read.

Honestly, I don’t know how to rate this 🤨 I liked both characters and the plot, but sadly it was too short 😭 the jump to the epilogue also felt rlly fast 😭

Veronica saw Dante on a camera and kind of stalked him for the next few weeks, until she gets kidnapped by her obsession 😏 Instalove, age gap, steamy, sweet, fun to read , J/P obsessed alpha male,romantic and safe with a sweet HEA and no OP drama😍😍😍😍

Victoria is a reclusive hacker known as V, she is a hacker that is at the top of her game and very much in demand. But the reason that she is so reclusive is that she suffers from albinism, she has had a plan in place for when she gets caught for a long time, but she is caught unawares by the one man that she has been watching and obsessing over for a while now Dante Lombardi, the moment that she saw him everything changed. Hacking into a mafia family building and their security for a rival family was easy but turning off watching him was impossible, it was only a matter of time before she was found. Thinking her death was no imminent she is surprised by Dante’s reaction and the more time that they spend together the more she falls for the man and not just the image on a screen. Could V really have found someone to love and be loved in return or do they just want her skills before she is disposable?



Dante Lombardi is furious that his watertight security system only to discover that they have been hacked by the notorious V, he is determined to find him and bring him to justice. The net has been closing in for longer than he would have liked but now that the hacker is within his grasp and his men are bringing him to him, his taste for retribution is ready to be put to rest. But Dante gets the shock of his life when he finally meets the notorious V and learns that V actually stands for Victoria. He is mesmerized by her, and his own obsession begins. The biggest problem will come when his family want revenge on her. Will Dante and Victoria be who they were always meant to be ...... Each other's or is death for one or both of them imminent?



This was a great read that had all that you could want, shock, desire, love, and possible betrayal, cannot wait to read more in this ongoing series. 4.3* read.

I'm not one to leave negative reviews, but this book unfortunately leaves nothing that I can be positive about.
perhaps though it will help the author make future books more engaging.

* it took right up into around 70% for them to even kiss ( now I'm a big fan of slow burns, but this had zero burn, even once we finally got to the quote on quote smex scene, they were boring and lacked any passion or excitement.)

*the plot line leaves a lot to the imagination and paints hardly any story. she gets kidnapped due to being a hacker and then asked to do another job - a job that you don't actually show her doing at all.

*you waited till over half way through the book before giving ANY physical descriptions other than the fact she has pale skin and he is masculine looking.

*I was ready to DNR very early on, something which I have yet to ever do, but I decided to push through with the hopes of it improving, but unfortunately it never did.

* it desperately needed editing as there were far to many plot holes, spelling mistakes, missing words and even some basic things like body anatomy all muddled up.

*about 80% of this book was pointless repetitive information, you spend about 20 pages in total talking about how he walked her through the casino on around 5 separate occasions, but didn't once mention anything else they did together. I feel like this whole book could be summed up in around 10 pages, and still give readers the same level of information. even the ending epilogue, answered no questions. if anything I left with more questions than answers, it feels like I spend the last hour, watching nothing more than a trailer to a movie.


this is my first ever negative review but hopefully it either helps the author improve on future book or it stops someone else wasting their time reading it like I did.

Part of the Crystal Cove Casino series I am waiting for the rest of the series it can be read in under an hour make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Dante sexy as all get out mafia operating out of the casino until his business is hacked boy is he upset out for the responsible party, he is ruthless, dangerous n a good day, deadly everyday and out for blood not sure who is crazy enough to hack into their system to steal from him of all people. Victoria is such a sweetheart, homebound due to her albinism most her life her self-esteem has taken a hit, she hacks into the life of one Dante and when kidnapped not knowing what to expect besides being scared out of her mind. The moment Dante takes one look he knows she belongs with him not for revenge but she is his but he has to get her to see it his way also to protect her from his enemies exploiting her skills he has to tie her to him. Not to mention the magnetic pull between them is intense but can he want her with her skin issues, will he convince her there is more to her than her skills, will she believe him, and can they find something more than hacking and revenge?

Kidnapped by the Enemy is a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, enemies-to-lovers, age-gap, opposites-attract, girl gets her mafia man romance. Veronica (V) is a 22 year old, socially reclusive, independent hacker. Dante is a hunky, 35 year old member of the mafia and head of security at a local casino. V discovered Dante on another job and has been secretly crushing on him and watching from afar via camera after she first hacked their systems. Dante has finally located the hacker and sent him to be kidnapped. When he goes to torture him, he is shocked it's a her and a gorgeous one at that. His plans change, and he wants to keep her and not kill her. Will the mafia boss agree? Can love work for these two opposites? This was a fun read, but even though attraction was instant, most of the book was built up and started slow for me. I would have also liked more resolution on the Nicola story.

Dante is part of a mafia family. They operate out of a casino and he finds out that his family business has been hacked. He is out for blood.
Victoria is the hacker. She suffers from albinoism and stays in her apartment. She is kidnapped and taken to her fate with Dante.
Dante takes one look at Victoria and he falls for her immediately, he has to figure out a way to keep her safe and useful.
This is a great short read about how two enemies can fall for each other and what they are willing to do to keep each other safe.
Dane is an alpha male. He has never grown attached to anything. Victoria is young and sassy. She also has secrets she has been keeping from Dante. Great quick read.

Victoria is a hacker that works from home, and she has become obsessed with Dante a man that is in the mafia. This time she is caught in his net when she hacks into the casino cameras to watch him. Dante thinks that V is a boy and is stunned when he sees Victoria for the first time. unable to bring himself to hurt her Dante makes her work for them. Sparks fly between them and soon things heat up between them. Will she try to escape him? Or will she find a reason to stay?

This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Likes: I like that the heroine is differently abled and of a unique appearance. And gotta love the Instalove.
Dislikes: she’s a hacker and they couldn’t bring her a lousy energy drink? I think that’s against the Geneva Convention.

Dante was tasked to find the hacker that had been causing the Lombardi  family troubles what he didnt expect was the hacker to be Veronica. Hes instantly drawn to her and her brilliant mind that invaded his security system but to keep her safe he must keep her close. Making her the family hacker will do that but he wants far more with her than just her hacking skills. Well written, sweet, steamy slow burn, quick, hacker romance.

Veronica is a hacker known as V and Dante is the head of security at the casino. These two meet in an interesting way when he captures her, determined to destroy her but ends up falling for her instantly. This is an enemies to lovers, instalove, Mafia romance with believable characters, steam, and a good storyline. Kidnapped by the Enemy is book one and a great start to the Crystal Cove Casino series. I look forward to reading the rest of this series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Story missing so much

In this book the first 50% is just inner monologue how she likes him and he can't hurt her. At 60 % A kiss and only a couple of kisses. And Nicola having her do some stuff for him. 80 to 90% s3x but where was the connection between them. Then you have a epilogue that doesn't bring an end to any questions you have.

So what happened with the information that V was getting, did she find it all for Nicola? So ok did he release her from what she did to the family? And many other questions.

However I will NOT read the next one to find more plot holes.

She is a hacker that can break through complex networks, so when she goes after the wrong family, they come for her. When Dante finally tracks her down and has her brought to the Casino, he has lots of plans on what to do to her. The only problem he is not expect it to be a female.

V is a hacker who was caught. Dante sent guys to bring her back to the dungeon below the casino. When she is brought back he had assumed it was a he but was shocked to see it was a female. He is instantluly attracted and does what he can to protect her. Short slow burn romance.

Not one for mafias stories, but …

This is a story with a difference or three! It is intense, well plotted and well written. You can fall in love with main characters and their obsession with each other and hope that there is another book to cover the other intriguing element that is left unfinished!

I enjoyed reading the book. New author for me. Veronica and Dante both from opposite worlds. She is a hacker and he's mafia. When she is kidnapped by his boss to work foe them. Dante finally has his chance. Veronica has watched him for years. She never thought shed get this close. Her life is on the line and so is his. Will they get there happily ever after?

This was a good book in my opinion. This one was very relationship based and very little to do with mafia (although they are both technically working for the mafia). There isn't a whole lot outside of that. I do wish this was longer as just as they hit their peak, it ended. BUT I also know that all 4 books are happening at the same time basically so anything further would spoil the next 3 books.

Dante works in a casino. He’s trying to find a hacker who has invaded the casino and the only thing they know about the hacker is that they go by V
They have finally located V. Dante is ready to interrogate V when he finds out her name is Victoria.
This is a must read book. Great characters

Great short read. Characters were great and enjoyed the plot, story and the read. Would like to have had a little more with what Nicola was up to as that felt a little unsolved. Enjoyed the story.
