"Prank Gone Wrong" is a short story and a quick read. (estimated 23 pages) Rebekah, Mouse and RJ each have their own fun short story series and sometimes they come together, bringing you these special editions. They all love hanging out, solving mysteries and playing pranks together and we hope you will enjoy these special times as well. It's going to be a great weekend because RJ is coming to Curtis Bay to hang out with his fun detective cousin Rebekah and her best friend Mouse. What RJ doesn't know is that they are planning to introduce and invite him to join Mouse's Secret Club...introduce him to it with a funny prank that is on him UNTIL it looks like it might be on the WHOLE town! Yikes! It looks like the gang might have some explaining to do!
Fun book that I know children are going to love. It is written for kids and about kids and tells what trouble a small prank can be. i found the writing great for young readers. It speaks to them on their level and I think this book is a winner. Grab it for your kids and grand kids. great also to share.
Just because you are young and a girl does not mean you dress in pink and play with dolls. Rebekah is a kid with a prank waiting to happen. She and her friends welcome a new member to the club by pulling a joke that goes town wide. Give to a young reader and let the fun begin.
This tale is a special edition that combines the adventures of child detectives. Rebekah is excited that her cousin from the city, RJ is coming to visit for the weekend. He is an ace child detective who lives in the city. Rebekah also loves to solve mysteries. She and friends, Mouse, Jaden, Amanda, and Max decide that they want to invite RJ to join their secret club. The friends enjoy playing harmless pranks on their friends. Mouse suggests they play a prank on RJ as an initiation to the club. They come up with the idea to dye the water in the park fountains. Their plan quickly goes awry when the water in the entire town turns green. Are they in big trouble? This is a special edition that consists of twelve very short chapters featuring the young detectives. It might be considered a beginning chapter book or a short story. The vocabulary is easy, and the plot is funny and clever. I would recommend it for readers ages seven and older. It might be a good choice for a reluctant reader or read aloud story.
A really good little story with loads of potential to become an amazing series. My only issue was the book ended at 49% The least thing you could do was at least make the main story bigger than your preview at the end of the book. As it is this is really unbalanced. Otherwise, this would have earned 5 stars from me. Major shame
It is a good and funny book and thats why i gave 3 stars. I liked the book as it is funny and mysterious and of they would complete the book and the mystery behind the problem it would be more interesting I would recommend it to everyone who likes mystery and pranks
Specials mit Rebekah, Mouse und RJ? Ja, die muss ich natürlich auch lesen. Ich mag die 3 seht. Der 1. Band war schon wieder super, da können die restlichen ja nur auch wieder gut sein. Ich bin gespannt 😊
This is a fun read for the 9-12 age group. The characters are engaging and the storyline is fun. This is something every kids wishes they might have thought of to do. I recommend this book for boys and girls alike. Rebekah's older cousin is coming for the weekend. She is all excited because he is a detective. Mouse wants to ask him to join the secret club. He calls the members to talk about it. They join him in the club house and decide to pull a prank to let him in. Mouse pulled out the book of Pranks and Practical Jokes. As they were talking they found one they knew would work. Rebekah went home to start the plot going. What will it be? You get to listen/read to find out. Yipee!!
This has to be my favourite book from the trio’s special addiction series. I actually ended up giggling a couple of times at the mess that was created and how it got cleared up. Thank goodness for a thing called coincidence! It also just shows that even though we sometimes have this brilliant plan of sorts figured out, it doesn’t mean that everything will go to plan in detail. Humour, lots of colours, and some mystery are packed into this audiobook.
I loved every moment of this (mis)adventure and the outcome turned out to be brilliant, but maybe not so much for the characters dealing with the problem at that moment. Gross!
It is perfect book for children of 8 to 11 years old. Very simple English. It also offers you previews of other books written by the author, PJ Ryan. Overall it is a good book.
