Meh. A parte le decine di lei/lui ghigno' e lui ringhiò e lei fece le fusa, e, ah... lui si teletrasportò... :(
Un libro confuso, dove lei se ne va e dopo cento anni le viene voglia di nuovo di assaggiare il proibito [Arturo, avverto un certo languorino...], dove lui è il bad boy ma poi è il più santo dei due, in cui il Paradiso è una specie di clinica di rieducazione stile nemici del popolo, dove lei se ne va e dopo cento anni le viene voglia di nuovo di assaggiare il proibito [Arturo, avverto un certo languorino...], dove lei cambia idea di continuo e forse dovrebbe davvero farsi un po' di sedute in clinica...
Non mi è piaciuto. Stile narrativo pesante, scene già viste [e prima che mi si dica che il sesso alla fine è comunque quello, aggiungo che c'è modo e modo di raccontarlo].

"Era appena prima del tramonto, e Sera era sdraiata tranquilla tra le braccia del suo amante. Per sette meravigliosi giorni erano stati del tutto inseparabili. Quando il sole aveva brillato sopra le loro teste, Cole le aveva mostrato tutto ciò che c’era da vedere dell’accattivante città di New York, inclusi i posti più nascosti di Central Park. Lì avevano scoperto insieme alcuni dei nascondigli naturali meglio tenuti. Posti dove Cole aveva proceduto a mostrare a Sera i segreti più reconditi del suo stesso corpo. Senza dubbio, erano dolci rivelazioni. Avevano trascorso ogni notte nel modesto appartamento di Cole, situato in un seminterrato. Lì si erano esplorati l’un l’altra, invece dell’immenso mondo attorno a loro. Attorcigliati tra le coperte, avevano parlato per ore, condividendo i loro sogni, le loro passioni, le loro anime. Era sopra a quelle stesse coperte che avevano mangiato i migliori cibi d’asporto della città e fatto partite a ogni gioco di carte immaginabile. Il passatempo preferito di Sera con Cole, però, era quello della lotta. Come adorava la meravigliosa esaltazione che provava quando rotolava con il suo uomo forte e dissoluto; con tutta quella carne bollente e muscoli sodi che strofinavano e toccavano, e si strusciavano contro di lei. Ahh… Mentre era sdraiata sul suo petto, ad ascoltare il battito del suo cuore, sorrise. Forse poteva attirarlo nella sfida più difficile mai avuta."

Il libro di oggi è Demone Dissoluto e ci racconta l’amore proibito e romantico di un Serafino e di un demone. Primo capitolo di una serie che si prospetta davvero interessante, la Demon Trilogy, scritto a quattro mani da due autrici talentuose.
Seraphina è un giovane Angelo con doti di preveggenza, ha dai poteri ancora acerbi e non del tutto palesati, quando riceve la sua prima visione. Una visione in cui è certa di aver visto l’uomo che le è destinato, peccato però che Cole, pur bellissimo e affascinante, non sia affatto un uomo normale. Scoprire dopo una settimana di passione e risate che è un Demone è per Seraphina troppo da accettare, e il suo dolore la porta ad andarsene, senza dare a Cole la possibilità di spiegare le ragioni che lo hanno spinto a tacere. Il loro sembra un rapporto destinato a non avere un futuro, tuttavia neppure il passare di un secolo, in cui Cole ha ceduto sempre più al suo lato demoniaco, è riuscito a fare dimenticare all’angelo le sensazioni provate fra e sue braccia. Il desiderio di rivederlo la induce a spiarlo incapace di stargli lontana. La natura di Cole non è certa cambiata, ma questa volta per Seraphina l’amore che sente per lui sembra più importante. Un Angelo e un Demone però non sono fatti per stare insieme, e il loro amore dovrà essere messo alla prova.
La caratterizzazione dei personaggi è davvero indovinata, Seraphina è dolce e ingenua come ci si aspetta da un angelo, ma ha una sfrenata curiosità che la porta a essere estremamente divertente, la visita al sexy shop è fantastica. Nello stesso tempo però ha una carica erotica e un desiderio di sperimentare malizioso, che rende le scene passionali incredibilmente calde ed erotiche. Cole del resto è bravissimo a stimolare questo suo lato deliziosamente intrigante, è un uomo/demone estremamente passionale, ma anche giocoso e pieno di attenzioni. Nonostante il comportamento di Seraphina lo abbia ferito, non riesce a rimanere arrabbiato con lei, l’unica cosa che pretende è che lei riconosca di amarlo nella sua interezza, nonostante la sua natura. Del resto, si intuisce ben presto di trovarci di fronte un demone molto particolare, se la prende solo con i malvagi e quando ama è capace di grandi imprese e sacrifici, senza arrendersi di fronte a nessun ostacolo. Un demone ancora tutto da scoprire.
Questo primo capitolo, pur non essendo privo di azione e attimi di angoscia per la nostra coppia, è comunque molto romantico e lascia in primo piano appassionanti scene erotiche ben scritte e avvincenti. Ma il cliffhanger finale ci lascia intendere che le loro tribolazioni sono ben lontane dall’essere concluse, e che il prossimo capitolo riserverà sorprese che potrebbero essere tutt’altro che piacevoli, anche perché l’ambientazione cambierà totalmente. La prosa di queste due scrittrici è davvero bella e la lettura scorre con grande facilità facendoci trovare alla parola fine senza quasi accorgersene. Non vi nascondo però che spero che il seguito mi dia una storia un po’ più grintosa in cui i loro mondi così in contrapposizione abbiano uno spazio più rilevante.
È una lettura estremamente piacevole che ci fa conoscere due personaggi dalle tante sfaccettature, capaci di regalarci momenti molto divertenti e altri di grande sensualità. È molto semplice amarli e tifare per questo loro indomabile sentimento, che unisce due creature che non potrebbero essere più diverse. E per sapere come finirà la loro storia non ci resta che attendere il prossimo episodio di questa trilogia.

Well, if you like an intense love story and a story line with fun twists and turns, this is the book for you. Loved the story from the
beginning. Seraphina is a snarky, spunky, overly curious woman. Cole is a stubborn, dominant, forceful male who
demands your attention. He wants Seraphina and will do anything to get her attention and hold it. She is young,
impulsive and naive in a lot of ways, but Cole is willing to teach her the ways of the world.
I loved this book! Have read it through a few times now and find the story and the couple captivating.

I just finished reading this book,My Decadent Demon, written by great new authors; is has a very good beginning to it. Its a page turner as you drawn in by Sera and Cole story deeper and deeper into pages of excitement, anguish, love, and romance. They will steam up the pages each time you switch to the next one!

Just finished reading this wonderfully wicked HOT love story about Seraphina, an oracle in training, who has a vision of a handsome young man, Cole, and how their destiny is linked. The story kept me on the edge of my seat with the passionate emotions and at the same time had me smiling. BRAVO to the authors and I look forward to reading more.

Seraphina, detta Sera, è un giovane angelo di appena cinquecento anni, appartenente all’Ordine dei Serafini, il più elevato tra le varie schiere angeliche. Ella possiede anche il dono della preveggenza ed è proprio grazie a questo che un giorno ha una visione: vede se stessa abbracciata ad un giovane bellissimo uomo, e prova emozioni tanto forti e indescrivibili, da spingerla a scendere sulla terra in cerca del ragazzo che è stato capace di suscitarle in lei.
Cole, il giovane della visione di Sera, è in realtà un demone che combatte contro la sua natura demoniaca, conservando ancora in sé una parte buona e compassionevole.
I due ragazzi si incontrano e si innamorano. Sera rimane sulla terra con Cole vivendo una settimana da sogno, tra risate, baci appassionati, giochi, scaramucce e la scoperta del piacere fisico. Questo fino a quando non scopre la vera natura di Cole, che lei credeva umano.
Un angelo e un demone, il più grande dei tabù, una vera contraddizione in termini, impossibile che venga permesso loro di rimanere assieme: Sera va nel panico e fugge via, abbandonando un Cole disperato.
Trascorrono cento anni. Cole, dopo l’enorme delusione ricevuta da Sera, si è calato completamente nel suo ruolo di demone, coprendo i sentimenti che provava per lei con una maschera di cinismo e arroganza, indolenza e sarcasmo. Nessuno dei due però ha mai dimenticato l’altro, e quando Sera una notte cede alla tentazione di raggiungerlo in sogno, l’attrazione scoppia di nuovo più forte di prima. Impossibile resistere, se non che esiste sempre la grossa rogna dell’appartenenza a due mondi non soltanto diversi, ma nettamente contrapposti. Mondi che cercheranno con ogni mezzo di tenerli separati.
Ecco, esordisce in questo modo la piccante trilogia urban fantasy scritta a quattro mani da Alicia Dawn e Nikita Jakz. Piccante perché la parte erotica è preponderante nel testo, urban fantasy perché l’ambientazione “terrena” è a New York City, sebbene a tratti la storia si sposti su piani ultraterreni, sia verso l’alto che verso il basso. 😉
Il libro è scritto in terza persona, presenta però entrambi i POV, maschile e femminile, e risulta evidente che le due autrici se li siano divisi: tanto il POV di Sera presenta uno stile retrò, quasi aulico, che si confà ironicamente alla sua provenienza angelica, quanto quello di Cole è invece moderno, spigliato, frizzante.
I due personaggi sono caratterizzati bene con poche efficaci pennellate: Sera è sì un angioletto, tanto buona e in parte ingenua, ma con una spiccata curiosità e la vivacità di un vero diavoletto. Al contrario, Cole presenterà pure corna e artigli quando la sua parte demoniaca viene fuori, ed è un diavolo tentatore nel vero senso della parola, sfacciato, prepotente, sicuro di sé, quando si rapporta al resto del mondo, ma con Sera è davvero un angelo: dolce, tenero, fin troppo paziente. Il fatto che i loro mondi apparentemente così distanti si mescolino e confondano quando i due sono insieme è una delle cose che mi è piaciuta di più nel libro, confermando che non solo gli opposti si attraggono ma, più spesso di quanto si pensi, tendono a sfumare l’uno nell’altro.
Vengo ora a ciò che del romanzo mi è piaciuto meno. Anzitutto la lentezza con cui la storia stenta ad ingranare, tanto che al terzo capitolo mi sono domandata: “Sì, ok, scritto bene, ma la storia…dov’è?”
La seconda cosa, su cui ho dovuto sospendere fortemente l’incredulità, sono i cento anni che trascorrono prima che Sera decida di rientrare in contatto con Cole. Davvero? Cento anni? Lo ami, lo ami tantissimo e aspetti cento anni prima di fare una qualsiasi mossa? Mah… E poi, quando ti decidi a farla, per te, mio caro angioletto, sembra sia passato solo un battito di ciglia, prima che tu voglia ricominciare come e più di prima? Vero è che si tratta di un fantasy e magari per gli angeli il tempo non scorre proprio come per noi, ma Santo Dio, anche il fantasy deve avere una sua credibilità, nonostante racconti di un mondo di fantasia. O almeno io la penso così.
L’ultima cosa che non ho gradito molto è il fatto che la storia, almeno in questo primo volume di serie, si concentri quasi esclusivamente su loro due e sull’attrazione che provano l’uno per l’altra. Dipende sicuramente dal mio personale gusto, ma quando un libro si concentra per gran parte su scene di seduzione, sugli approcci fisici, anche se ben descritti e mai volgari, per me il contenuto rimane povero. Nonostante ciò, c’è anche da dire che in taluni tratti il romanzo mostra un grande potenziale: quando Cole si rapporta ad esempio con gli altri angeli, con tutta la sua irresistibile faccia tosta, o quando Sera e Cole mettono in scena divertentissimi siparietti generati dall’eccessiva curiosità di lei.
Ragion per cui assegno quattro stelle, sulla fiducia, immaginando un secondo volume, di cui resto in attesa, possibilmente più ricco di eventi e contenuti.

Tutto ha inizio da una visione. Sera non è un angelo comune ma è una Serafina, il grado più alto della gerarchia angelica, dedita allo studio per servire il trono Divino non può evitare di restare affascinata ed incuriosita da ciò che vede nella sua mente: un ragazzo, un abbraccio in cui lei si abbandona senza remore. L'impulso e il bisogno di scoprire la verità su questa visione la porta a scendere sulla terra e trovare il ragazzo ma Cole non è un semplice umano e la paura di quello che la loro unione potrebbe portare, la fa fuggire nonostante la settimana più intensa e appagante della sua esistenza. Questo primo capitolo della Demon Trilogy è un prologo dove ci vengono presentati i protagonisti, l'angelo e il demone, leggiamo del destino che li unisce e cosa devono affrontare dopo centinaia di anni di lontananza per poter stare insieme, viviamo un legame che unisce due anime nonostante appartengano a mondi opposti, il bene ed il male si annullano per dar vita a due spiriti uniti che si amano, si bramano e lottano pur di restare uniti. La caratterizzazione di Seraphina e Cole è impeccabile, il contrasto nel linguaggio, aulico e angelico quello di Sera, diretto e moderno quello di Cole, fanno la differenza in un rapporto ironico e giocoso, molto sensuale e sexy. I protagonisti si completano in un’unione di anime: Sera è curiosa e innocente, la bontà della natura angelica onnipresente, l'accettazione senza remore del legame ed attrazione che prova verso Cole come uomo e come demone; Cole è un demone che usa il sarcasmo e il suo fascino per ammaliare e soggiogare a suo piacimento, in Sera trova una bontà che non gli appartiene ma che lo appaga. Non ho trovato nulla di malvagio in lui, non ancora, è ribelle e sfrontato, assolutamente dissoluto e ne abbiamo prova durante i momenti sensuali e sexy con Sera. Le scene sensuali sono accurate, mai volgari anche se esplicite, è semplice la dimostrazione di un legame indissolubile tra i due vissuto con passione giocosa e abbandono. Lo stile delle autrici è fluido con frasi ben articolate e punti di vista alternati che portano a leggere il romanzo in un soffio, impeccabile la traduzione e la trasposizione in italiano che hanno reso il linguaggio angelico non eccessivamente forzato o pesante, anzi donano godibilità e leggerezza al tutto. È un urban fantasy diverso che sicuramente ci riserverà delle belle sorprese in futuro, erotico ed accattivante con accenni a possibili risvolti, forse di azione nel prossimo episodio? Io lo spero e non vedo l'ora di poter vedere Cole nel suo mondo, scoprire di più della sua natura e del suo animo che ama incondizionatamente la natura angelica di Sera così diversa ma affascinante e confortante…

Tutto ha inizio da una visione. Sera non è un angelo comune ma è una Serafina, il grado più alto della gerarchia angelica, dedita allo studio per servire il trono Divino non può evitare di restare affascinata ed incuriosita da ciò che vede nella sua mente: un ragazzo, un abbraccio in cui lei si abbandona senza remore. L'impulso e il bisogno di scoprire la verità su questa visione la porta a scendere sulla terra e trovare il ragazzo ma Cole non è un semplice umano e la paura di quello che la loro unione potrebbe portare, la fa fuggire nonostante la settimana più intensa e appagante della sua esistenza. Questo primo capitolo della Demon Trilogy è un prologo dove ci vengono presentati i protagonisti, l'angelo e il demone, leggiamo del destino che li unisce e cosa devono affrontare dopo centinaia di anni di lontananza per poter stare insieme, viviamo un legame che unisce due anime nonostante appartengano a mondi opposti, il bene ed il male si annullano per dar vita a due spiriti uniti che si amano, si bramano e lottano pur di restare uniti. Una cosina carina senza impegno, con tanti difettucci, ma comunque godibile. Finisce nelle letture distratte, perché sicuramente di questo libro non mi ricorderò nulla, ma mi è lo stesso piaciuto.
Poca ambientazione e poco worldbuilding e già così si è spento un po' il mio entusiasmo, troppi -issimi, tanto da renderlo un po' troppo lezioso. Forte invece la cura con cui hanno trattato i personaggi, soprattutto Sera, che mantiene il suo linguaggio arcaico anche nei momenti più impensabili, senza mai una caduta di registro.
Sarà carino vedere come si evolve la serie e se migliorerà lo stile.

Ci sono storie che, per quanto una persona possa impegnarsi a salvarle, sono destinate a finire. Altre, invece, durano per sempre nei cuori di chi prova un sentimento vero e sincero.
La storia di Cole e Seraphina è quel tipo di storia impossibile da vivere, quel tipo di storia intensa e passionale destinata a distruggere chi ama perché un angelo Serafino e un demone non possono stare insieme, è vietato dalle leggi degli angeli e questa storia, alla fine, distruggerà il cuore di entrambi, farà a pezzi la loro anima.
Seraphina Orielle, soprannominata Sera, è un giovane angelo Serafino. Ha appena 500 anni, è giovanissima, un’anima curiosa e spumeggiante. È grazie alla sua curiosità che ha deciso di trovare il giovane che le è apparso in una visione, sebbene per lei sia ancora troppo prematuro averle. Eppure, il ragazzo che la stringeva e guardava con occhi sognanti, le è apparso chiaro e così ha deciso di rendere reale quella visione. Non conosce il suo nome o altro di lui, sa solo che deve trovarlo e provare tutte quelle emozioni che ha vissuto nella visione. E, alla fine, lo trova in un parco.
Un ragazzo giovane con cui passerà una settimana intensa e divertente, una settimana piena di felicità ed emozioni pure. Sera ha scoperto l’amore vero, la gioia e i colori del mondo grazie a questo ragazzo. Il suo sogno ad occhi aperti, però, si infrange quando lei scopre che Cole Astaroth non è un semplice essere umano, come lei aveva immaginato, ma è un demone. Si sente tradita, sa che non potrebbe mai esserci nulla tra loro, così l’unica cosa che può fare è tornare in Paradiso e dire addio per sempre al ragazzo di cui è innamorata, spezzando i cuori di entrambi.
“L’amara realtà era impossibile da ignorare. Lei era un angelo e lui un demone. Non sarebbero mai potuti stare insieme. Il suo mondo non l’avrebbe mai permesso, e quello di lui avrebbe colto al balzo l’occasione di usare la loro relazione per compiere malvagità. Quello che desiderava lei, alla fine, non aveva importanza.”
Cento anni dopo, Sera non è più disposta ad aspettare oltre per rivedere il suo demone. Lei non lo ha mai dimenticato, lui possiede il suo cuore e così decide di andare a fargli visita. Sa che Cole è cambiato, è inevitabile dopo il modo in cui Sera lo ha lasciato anni prima, ma non è disposta a lasciarsi abbattere dai muri che il demone innalza contro di lei.
Sperare è tutto ciò che Sera può fare, ma quando Cole la tocca, tutto dentro di lei va in pezzi e si ritrova a provare le stesse emozioni di cento anni prima, solo amplificate dalla lontananza forzata a cui sono stati sottoposti entrambi. Quando il demone la bacia e la sfiora, lei non può nemmeno concepire l’idea di abbandonare tutto nuovamente, che le venga strappata via la felicità.
Ma la minaccia degli altri Serafini incombe su di loro, portandoli alla disperazione. Cole si ritrova a dover promettere a Sera che la ritroverà, che le farà ricordare ciò che i Serafini le faranno dimenticare, prometterà al suo angelo di farle ricordare tutto di loro e di trovarla, per non lasciarla andare mai più.
Riuscirà a riprendere con sé il suo angelo e a farle ricordare di loro? Farle sentire di nuovo quel legame e l’amore che provano l’uno per l’altra?
“Lui era un demone! Era quello che si supponeva commettesse peccati imperdonabili. Non lei. E invece, la tragica ironia era che lei, l’angelo, era quella che stava per fare il lavoro del diavolo. In pochi attimi, l’avrebbero devastato per una seconda volta. Come se la prima non fosse già stata abbastanza, quando tutto ciò che lui aveva mai fatto era amarla.”
Seraphina è un personaggio che non avevo mai incontrato, fino ad ora. È sì innocente, ma aperta al mondo, curiosa, ama sperimentare e toccare con mano tutto ciò che stuzzica il suo interesse, è divertente e così sincera e vera che non puoi fare a meno di provare tenerezza per lei, di volerle bene, perché è buona e leale, non ha paura di dire ciò che prova e mostrare i suoi sentimenti, rendendosi vulnerabile a tutto ciò che la circonda. È una ragazzina, deve ancora capire quanto il mondo può far male, ma Cole sembra disposto a tutto per lei, e fare il tifo perché questo amore abbia un lieto fine è naturale come respirare.
Per quanto Cole sia arrogante, le autrici sono state bravissime a renderlo simpatico e non saccente. Cole è un tipo duro ma con un cuore enorme, ha bisogno di essere amato, ma allo stesso tempo ha bisogno anche di amare, e soprattutto di essere capito per chi è davvero. E quando è insieme a Sera e alla sua curiosità, posso dirvi che saranno in grado di farvi sorridere, perché Cole ha una pazienza infinita, ma Sera metterà a dura prova il demone!
“Per tutto quel tempo, aveva saputo di provare dei sentimenti per lei, ma solo in quel momento aveva realizzato quanto fossero profondi. Avrebbe ucciso chiunque avesse messo loro i bastoni tra le ruote, avrebbe rinunciato alla propria vita per lei e solo per lei. Lì fuori, sdraiata sul suo letto come il più raffinato dei banchetti, c’era un angelo che era riuscito a rubargli il cuore senza nemmeno saperlo.”
Come ogni Urban Fantasy per adulti che si rispetti, anche in questo libro sono presenti alcune scene ad alto tasso erotico, intense, ma che rendono perfettamente chiaro il rapporto fisico che c’è tra il demone e l’angelo. L’amore è anche carnale, ha bisogno di sfoghi e di contatto, di tocchi e carezze ma anche di baci e beh, tanto altro. E il rapporto tra Cole e Sera non è mai noioso, cosa che ho davvero apprezzato durante la lettura.
Essendo questo il primo capitolo di una trilogia, la storia che leggerete in Demone dissoluto sarà solo l’inizio di un’intera vicenda che ha al centro di tutto Cole e Sera, ma che coinvolgerà sicuramente il mondo dei Serafini e quello in cui vive Cole, portandoli a collidere uno con l’altro in una guerra senza esclusione di colpi. E se c’è una cosa di cui Seraphine e Cole sono sicuri, è che faranno ogni cosa per rimanere insieme.

What a yummy book. Serphina is a oracle in training, she has a vision of a man, her destiny. She leaves heaven to find him. Cole is that vision, problem Cole is a demon. When Sera finds him they spend a glorious week together, until Cole shows his true self (his demon self). How the heck can an Angel and a Demon, find true love.
After, 100 years Sera starts visiting Cole in his dreams. One thing leads to another and the sparks are still flying. Can love conquer the battle between good and evil?
The Book is a page turner, I lost a bit of sleep, having to finish the first book. Be warned it has a major cliff hanger. So, I'm losing even more sleep with the next installment.
I found the book extremely well written, it flows beautifully and will keep you interested. I would recommend this to anyone who likes paranormal, erotica, and romance.

I was lucky the author forwarded me a copy of this book to review, and it was worth the read.
The story is about two people from different sides of the track as they say, one a demon and one an angel.
Some people are meant to be together that what Sera believes, until Cole reveals his true self. Time and distance doesn't quell the feelings they had for each other, so when they meet again Cole wants to keep her, it's not that easy though.
I loved Cole his sweet yet naughty and sexy, even with horns! Sera was so funny, she's so innocent on one level but totally inquisitive and up for anything on another.
The story starts strong form the first page and doesn't let up until the end, it will keep you interested and satisfied too.
Now I need to grab book 2, as the story continues.

Great paranormal book that is about love between the a demon and an angel. In the beginning Sera and Cole come together in a blissful week of love. When Sere finds out Cole is a demon she leaves him behind but has a hard time forgetting him as Cole also has a hard time forgetting Sera.
Over 100 years later Sera is checking in on Cole. They end up reuniting but fight many obstacles along the way so they can be together. Both of the characters are strong willed, loving, funny and sexy. And prepare to have to fan yourself from all of the hot and steamy love scenes.
This is a great book that keeps you reading and rooting for Cole and Sera to be together. It does end in a cliff hanger and I can't wait to read book 2.

Have you ever heard of an Angel and Demon together? Well, here you will.
I'm not usually one for Paranormal/Paranormal Romance, but I must say, this was FANTASTIC! It was more Romance then Paranormal.
The way the whole story was portrayed was superb.
Sera, an Angel from the heavens about has a vision about a sexy male down on earth. But things take a unexpected turn in the middle of the book.
Cole, a Demon is immediately taken with the a Angel that seeked him......
I'm not going to ruin the book for anyone, but it's definitely a must read!!

RECENSIONE:
Premetto che sono amante da anni del genere fantasy e delle sue sottospecie. Ho le mie personali autrici che mi fanno sognare ogni volta che entro nei loro libri e mi perdo nelle loro storie insieme ai personaggi.
Il demone dissoluto è un urban fantasy ambientato a New York. O per lo meno è quella la città dove Cole e Sere si teletrasportano.
L'autrice con questa storia ci mette davanti all'eterna lotta tra il bene e il male. Coloro a cui predomina la parte buona avranno sempre a che fare con coloro in cui ha la meglio quella cattiva e viceversa è come una lotta continua. Ma se si mette in mezzo il vero amore allora a vincere a mani basse sono coloro che amano con tutto il cuore e l'anima, e non ci saranno più una linea precisa tra il bene è il male. Ci sarà solo e semplice Amore.
Quello tra Sere e Cole è un amore che travalica il tempo e lo spazio. Angelo Serafino lei demone lui. Due mondi che non dovrebbero mai venire a contatto. Ma se è l'amore la forza trainante di tutto questo allora non c'è un limite a cosa possa succedere.
Facendo riferimento alla mia premessa, leggendo la trama avevo delle aspettative su questa storia. Mi ero immaginata già scenari e tanto altro, in realtà è risultato tutt'altra cosa.
Il testo non ha il dinamismo che ho sempre riscontrato in questo genere.
Sera è un oracolo in addestramento nella classe più alta nella gerarchia degli Angeli. Ma in questo primo libro la vedremo debole e senza difesa alcuna verso i suoi compagni anziani.
Lui è un demone, ancora nebulosa la sua natura se è creato o nato, ma essendo il primo libro della serie con molta probabilità tutto ci verrà svelato inseguito. Il suo ruolo è prendere un'anima corrotta per il suo "Padrone", liberando la terra da individui di dubbia moralità, metodo che il nostro Angelo lo paragona a un opera di bene.

In relazione al titolo in realtà sembra più dissoluta Sera il nostro Angelo, che il povero demone. Sempre eccitata e curiosa di provare di tutto e di più.
Le labbra di Cole erano troppo eccitanti per rifiutarle. D'altronde, che danno ne sarebbe potuto derivare? Dopotutto, non aveva idea di chi fosse, né le andava molto a genio. Era arrogante, sarcastico, sessista e dominante. E oh, buon Dio, come stava dominando la sua bocca in quel momento!
Quello che traspare ad ogni modo in queste pagine è l'amore forte e resistente di questi due esseri soprannaturali, e che cercano in tutti i modi di restare uniti e non permettere a niente e nessuno li separarli. Scenderanno a qualsiasi compromesso perché abbiano anche loro un happy ending.
Forse andare anche alla fine del mondo o peggio nelle viscere della terra.
Per sapere quello che succede bisognerà aspettare il seguito.

Premetto che sono amante da anni del genere fantasy e delle sue sottospecie. Ho le mie personali autrici che mi fanno sognare ogni volta che entro nei loro libri e mi perdo nelle loro storie insieme ai personaggi.
Il demone dissoluto è un urban fantasy ambientato a New York. O per lo meno è quella la città dove Cole e Sere si teletrasportano.
L'autrice con questa storia ci mette davanti all'eterna lotta tra il bene e il male. Coloro a cui predomina la parte buona avranno sempre a che fare con coloro in cui ha la meglio quella cattiva e viceversa è come una lotta continua. Ma se si mette in mezzo il vero amore allora a vincere a mani basse sono coloro che amano con tutto il cuore e l'anima, e non ci saranno più una linea precisa tra il bene è il male. Ci sarà solo e semplice Amore.
Quello tra Sere e Cole è un amore che travalica il tempo e lo spazio. Angelo Serafino lei demone lui. Due mondi che non dovrebbero mai venire a contatto. Ma se è l'amore la forza trainante di tutto questo allora non c'è un limite a cosa possa succedere.
Facendo riferimento alla mia premessa, leggendo la trama avevo delle aspettative su questa storia. Mi ero immaginata già scenari e tanto altro, in realtà è risultato tutt'altra cosa.
Il testo non ha il dinamismo che ho sempre riscontrato in questo genere.
Sera è un oracolo in addestramento nella classe più alta nella gerarchia degli Angeli. Ma in questo primo libro la vedremo debole e senza difesa alcuna verso i suoi compagni anziani.
Lui è un demone, ancora nebulosa la sua natura se è creato o nato, ma essendo il primo libro della serie con molta probabilità tutto ci verrà svelato inseguito. Il suo ruolo è prendere un'anima corrotta per il suo "Padrone", liberando la terra da individui di dubbia moralità, metodo che il nostro Angelo lo paragona a un opera di bene.

I protagonisti sono due tipologie di individui agli opposti: lei, Seraphina, è un angelo, un serafino per l’esattezza, destinata a raggiungere il rango più alto delle schiere angeliche; lui, Cole, è un semi demone la cui natura demoniaca prende il sopravvento dopo il disastroso primo incontro con Seraphina.
Diciamo la verità, il primo incontro tra i due è tutt’altro che disastroso anzi, è scoppiettante, coinvolgente, carico di quell’elettricità che si crea solo tra due persone che si attraggono. E loro si attraggono eccome. L’attrazione è talmente forte da non sopirsi nemmeno dopo cent’anni di separazione, infatti Cole è disposto a tutto, anche salire in Paradiso, per riprendersi l’unica donna in grado di far battere il suo cuore.
In questo primo capitolo assistiamo proprio ai tentativi di Cole di riconquistare Sera, di dare una possibilità al loro rapporto anche se tutto è contro di loro.
«Perché devi essere un demone? Volevo amarti per l’eternità!» Respirando affannosamente, lui rimase lì fermo, con il cuore che batteva così forte che lei poteva udirlo. Ma le sue parole sembravano aver fatto dissolvere tutta la passione. La guardò dall’alto, accigliato, prendendo i pugni di Sera nei suoi. E mentre la attirava a sé, la sfidò, chiedendole a sua volta: «Perché tu sei un angelo, uno che mi tenta così facilmente?»
Comincio col dire che le autrici sono state brave a rendere l’antitesi tra i due protagonisti: Seraphina è pura, buona, quasi ingenua, la riscoperta della vita “umana” e dei sentimenti per Cole costituiscono degli intramezzi dolci ma ironici che spezzano un po’ la tensione (sessuale) della trama. Cole è tenebra e lussuria o meglio, dovrebbe esserlo ma il suo cuore è tenero e questo traspare spesso dietro i suoi modi sfrontati lasciando capire quanto grande sia l’amore per Sera.

Faccio outing: appartengo alla categoria di persone che ama le cover con i bei ragazzi, oggetto di polemica in questi giorni. Sono stata attratta da questa e, considerato il mio amore sia per il genere che per i demoni, non ho saputo resistere e ne ho chiesto una copia alla casa editrice, che ringrazio come sempre.
Qualcosa però per me non ha funzionato. Ho ammesso subito che la cosa che più mi ha colpita è stata la cover, quindi mi aspettavo un libro con una forte componente romance, anche erotica, ma comunque ero convinta di leggere un fantasy, visto che i protagonisti sono un angelo e un demone. Questo per me è il grosso problema del libro, manca proprio la parte fantasy.
Non è spiegato nulla, ho presupposto che angeli e demoni fossero nemici ma non ne fa cenno, lo dà per scontato. Non viene spiegata per niente né la natura angelica di Seraphina, né quella diabolica di Cole. Immagino che Sera sia di categoria superiore, ma anche qui è supposizione perché non è descritto nulla. Suppongo che il “padrone” più spesso citato da Cole sia il diavolo, ma di nuovo, indovinate? Nessun chiarimento, niente. Ne ho saputo di più dalla trama del libro che dalla sua lettura.
Come se mancasse tutto il contorno, l’introduzione alla storia. Forse io amo talmente il fantasy da voler sapere tanto, ma ho trovato questa storia piena di buchi, di lacune, che mi hanno lasciata perplessa.
In compenso la storia d’amore fra i due protagonisti e soprattutto la loro interazione sessuale, è spiegata nel dettaglio, decisamente i particolari non sono stati lesinati.

Dovete sapere che io amo gli angeli ma soprattutto i demoni. Le storie che parlano di loro mi hanno da sempre affascinato, ecco perché sono stata incuriosita da DEMONE DISSOLUTO. Narra le vicende di Seraphine, angelo della cerchia più potente che esista nel paradiso, appunto i Serafini. Sera è un angelo alle prime armi, una ragazza che rispetta sempre le regole e che crede ciecamente nella fede sei suoi simili. Ecco perché quando ha una visione di un ragazzo mortale, bello, affascinante, occhi intriganti e scuri, sa che non può andare a cercarlo… Ma se quel viso diventa la sua ossessione cosa può fare? Ignorarlo o per una volta seguire quello che le dice la testa? E se questo ragazzo in realtà non fosse per niente un mortale? Se il volto che Sera vede notte e giorno appartenesse alla specie avversaria?

Stravagante
Una storia leggera e divertente. Una Serafina che si innamora di un ragazzo che poi scopre essere un Demone, un amore quindi impossibile. E lei decide di andarsene, dopo cento anni però Sera ritorna da lui, lo segue, lo spia, non può farne a meno e di nuovo scatta la passione. Però i Serafini non sono d'accordo e faranno modo di allontanarla da lui. Cole non ci sta e farà di tutto per riprendersela. Sera è molto buffa, mi ha divertita. Cole è invece un arrogante diavoletto irresistibile.

In questa calda estate e con il blog in pausa sto cercando di recuperare il più possibile tante letture che a primo avviso sembravano essere buone...
Demone dissoluto è invece, una di quelle letture della quale non sono rimasta completamente entusista.
Primo libro di una trilogia scritta a quattro mani, è innanzitutto un fantasy con una compomente erotica e romance, la trama vede protagonisti un demone e un angelo, quindi potremmo dire l'eterna battaglia tra il bene e il male, è un po' quello che ci si aspetta di ritrovare in questo libro, ma che secondo me è solo abbozzato.
Devo dire che la storia mi è piaciuta, Seraphina è un angelo con delle capacità di preveggenza, ed è proprio grazie al suo dono che vede in Cole, l'uomo della sua vita, un particolare però le sfugge, e cioè che lui non è un umano, ma bensì un demone.
Ora fin qui va più che bene, si intuisce che naturalmente potrebbe essere una storia non fattibile, ma in barba alle convenzioni che vedono un angelo fuori dalla portata di un demone, Sera decide di seguire il proprio cuore...
Gli angeli celesti naturalmente faranno in modo che la storia appena nata tra Cole e Sera non vada avanti ma...
In questo primo volume a parte Sera e Cole, non c'è nessun altro, non ci sono altri personaggi che attirino l'attenzione, che ci facciano capire che ci sarà molto altro dietro, visto il finale aperto della storia, inoltre, tutta la parte fantasy è relegata in un angolo, lasciando al lettore solo la parte erotica e romance del libro che non è male, ma avrebbe bisogno di una spinta in più, di un input che renda la lettura più interessante.
Mi sono posta più volte la domanda: chi è realmente il cattivo, Cole o gli angeli celesti?
Non c'è stata quell'enfasi che spesso ritrovo nei libri di questo genere, una battaglia, uno scontro tra il bene e il male, tutto gira ed è incentrato sui due protagonisti.
Ora ben sapendo che la storia è aperta, non avendo un finale, non mi resta che attendere l'uscita, nonchè la traduzione della CE, Quixote Edizioni, che ringrazio per la copia digitale.

A vision of a male overpowers her mind; a male that she can't get out of her mind. The vision was so strong, Seraphina flees Heaven in search of him.
Central Park ~ New York City, NY
Cole Asteroth is resting against a tree in Central Park when a beautiful woman approaches. A budding romance begins when Cole brushes away a piece of hair from her face. She identifies herself as Seraphina and informs Cole that he is the treasure that she seeks.
After spending a glorious week with Cole, Seraphina discovers that Cole is a demon and that their relationship is doomed and she cannot stay.
100 years later, this doomed pair meet again when Seraphina seeks out her "treasure" and sexual ecstasy takes over. Only, Seraphina isn't meant for the earthly plane and soon her protectors in Heaven seek her out.

Two people from extremely different backgrounds - one an angel and the other a demon - fall in love. Of course, the angel can't love a demon nor can she stay outside of Heaven....but she certainly tries. Sex scenes between Seraphina and Cole are smoking hot and plentiful.
My Decadent Demon is a book that does draw you in from the beginning with Seraphina's vision. It keeps you interested because, ultimately, you will want to know if the angel and the demon are able to make things work. The book is a fast read and contains several sexscapades that will satisfy lovers of the steaminess.
I'm actually still not sure if I truly loved My Decadent Demon. Oh, I liked it okay but that is just it - ok. Unfortunately, I found the characters to be superficial and I really didn't connect with them. The dialogue was choppy in many places, not smooth and comfortable. The premise of My Decadent Demon was so promising, too.
I still plan to read the next installment-I'm not giving up on the trilogy.

It keeps you interested because, ultimately, you will want to know if the angel and the demon are able to make things work. The book is a fast read and contains several sexscapades that will satisfy lovers of the steaminess.
I'm actually still not sure if I truly loved My Decadent Demon. Oh, I liked it okay but that is just it - ok. Unfortunately, I found the characters to be superficial and I really didn't connect with them. The dialogue was choppy in many places, not smooth and comfortable. The premise of My Decadent Demon was so promising, too.
I still plan to read the next installment-I'm not giving up on the trilogy.

WOW!!!! Who knew a love story between an oracle and a demon could be so HOT? As I began My Decadent Demon, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. However, after reading the first few paragraphs, I was hooked.
Seraphina, Sera, is an oracle in training who has the gift of foresight, and one of the first visions she sees is a sexy as sin demon, Cole. However, she doesn’t know he is a demon; she just knows that his destiny is linked to hers. She sets off to find him in the human world, and he is even more spectacular in person. When the two meet, they begin a sexy, torrid affair until she realizes what he truly is. Of course, her being an angel and him being a demon would never work in her eyes, so she leaves him. Fast forward 100 years later, and she hasn’t been able to forget him. Meanwhile, he has been living half a life without his angel. She hunts him down again, and they pick up where they left off with Sera professing her love for him. Of course, fate intervenes, and they have some major obstacles to overcome. Will they be able to overcome their two very different backgrounds to find their own HEA?
This book has to be one of the most sensual reads I have read. Both of these writers have a talent in engaging the senses which draws the reader deeper into the story. They use such lines like these.
“He could still taste her on his tongue, could smell her exotic scent mingling with the chocolate.”
“Inching closer she leaned in, savoring his voice as he spoke. It was like soft, warm velvet rubbing across her skin.”
“Her lids slid closed as she inhaled his scent. Oh Heavens, he smelled raw and wild and intoxicating. Like thunderstorms and forest fires and the finest ambrosia.”
And I don’t think I will ever look at candy and chocolate the same way again after their hot session in the kitchen. WOW!!!
There wasn’t one thing I disliked about the characters. Sera is one unique angel. There is a sweet innocence to her, but yet she does have this naughty side that Cole is an expert at bringing out. Cole is one hot domineering demon. All he has to do is look at Sera, and she is putty in his hands, and he is excellent with those hands! As readers will see, he may be a demon, but he certainly has a human man’s heart. They seem to bring out the best in each other, and they are a couple you are really rooting for. You want them to end up together even though they are from two very different worlds and have so much to overcome to find happiness. I will say it again. The sex scenes are UNBELIEVABLY HOT!!!
Borrowing one of Sera’s quotes, “Sweet stars above,” this one fantastic, steamy, sensual book. I do have the sequel already on my Kindle. As I finish this review, I will be headed back into the sensual world of Sera and Cole to see where the two lovers are headed next. If you are in the mood for a sexy love story with great characters, I would highly recommend this one.

How does an angel from the most high and demon from the lowest find a way to each other? Sera’s first vision comes to her when she is really too young to start having visions and it is about a beautiful young man that she recognizes as her soul mate. When she cannot help herself, she seeks out the young man on earth and loses becomes lost in him. Everything unbelievable until Sera discovers that Cole is a demon; she flees and returns to her home on high.
Even though she has left Cole behind, Sera cannot forget him and watches him from afar. Cole also cannot forget his beautiful angel and longs for her and at the same time is hurt that she left him. When he appears in his dream he pulls her in and she becomes corporal with his touch. They both know that is not possible for the two of them to be together, but cannot deny the need to be with each other. Sera knows that is only a matter of time before she is pulled back into her life in heaven and her memories of Cole will be taken from her. How can an angel and a demon love each other? If they are really soul mates, how can they not be?

Seraphina is a Seraph, a member of the highest order of Angels. She is young for her kind and still training. When she has her first vision it is of a gorgeous man that she can't get out of her head, and she cannot rest until she finds him. When Sera tracks down Cole he is just as smitten. They spend days together getting to know each other and burning up the sheets in the process. Then she finds out his true nature, Cole is a demon; brokenhearted she leaves him behind. After 100 years Cole is still in her heart and she decides to peek in on him. She doesn't expect the things to come!
Seraphina lives among the angels and before Cole had not been in the mortal world. I perceive her character as being a little naïve. In ways she is almost childlike. She is definitely a curious being, and all of these factors make her interesting and charming. Even after 100 years Sera retains many of the same qualities. When we meet Cole he is torn over what he is. When he first meets Sera he seems almost as sweet and naïve as she! A hundred years just makes Cole sexier! He has embraced his demon, and I love his mischievous demeanor as well as his witty and sarcastic ways.
A story about the relationship between an Angel and Demon is quite intriguing! That was the first thing that captured me. Then there is the wicked sexiness, Cole is decadent indeed! He and Sera have chemistry that shouldn't be happening and it is HOT! The third thing that drew me in was Cole. When he embraced who he was he became even more attractive. I loved his attitude, and he made me laugh. Authors Dawn and Jakz did a very good job with the book. The only problem I had were a few small areas that lacked good flow, and for a moment I felt like I missed something. I am still giving the story a four star rating because of the positives I thought the story possessed.
My Decadent Demon is the first book in the My Demon Trilogy. Fans of both paranormal and erotica reads are sure to enjoy this one! I for one plan to continue on with this delightful and spicy storyline!

4 stars for me on this little gem! I loved the story…it was cute, entertaining, and had a great flow.

From worlds apart Sera has a vision that, against her better judgment, draws her to find Cole who she believes to be her human mate. After a week together she has fallen in love but forces herself to leave once she discovers his true nature…breaking both their hearts.
A century later, unable to stay away any longer, Sera seeks out Cole only to realize that neither of them has forgotten what they shared all those years ago. Though hardened by embracing what he is after Sera left Cole knows she is the only woman for him and is willing to do anything to keep her this time.
With outside forces doing all that they can to return Sera to Heaven can Cole keep her with him and safe? What are they both willing to sacrifice to be together?
I really enjoyed this story…though I wish it had been longer because I devoured it in about 2 hours…and can't wait to dive into the continuation of Cole and Sera's story in My Demon Determined. I loved Sera and her stubborn and sometimes childish ways. She is strong-willed, curious, and refreshing. Cole…*swoon*… passionate, dominating, and frustrating as hell sometimes! I have a sneaking suspicion that we will learn a lot more about him and his situation in the next installment of this series and I can't wait! The only thing that could be improved upon, in my opinion, was more background on the characters and maybe more detail on their time together in the beginning…but that would have made a much longer book. However, I am a sucker for the details and background to really get into the characters. It was still a great read!!!

My book review for My Decadent Demon by Alicia Dawn and Nikita Jakz. Ok, first off I'll tell you a little about the book and then my opinion. The book starts with one of heavens most high standing Angels called Seraphs, hence the name Seraphina Orielle. She is an oracle, who has never left heaven just viewed from above, and considered a baby of sorts. She starts to have visions of a man, but not just of him she is there too, so she knows their paths are destined for each other. She goes to him. She knows nothing about the human world or about relationships, but Cole shows her more then just the world. They really fall in love and spend an unforgettable week together, until Cole's secret is revealed. You see he is a demon. Sera can't get past what he is and leaves him to go back to heaven. Cole misses her, but tries to move on. Sera watches him from above for 100 years, until she can't take no more and starts stalking Cole. They ended up back together for one night then the Seraph guards come and take her back, and wipe her memories. Cole goes after her and kidnaps her. He keeps her hidden until she remembers their time together, but it takes his demon coming out for her to remember their love. Then the guards find them again, and Cole has no choice but take her to the one place an angel doesn't belong, Hell! Now my part. This is just one of those great romance story's of girl meets boy, and fall in love at first site, but everything seems to keep them apart. This was just a two character aspect on falling in love for the first time, and going against all odds to do it, with a paranormal twist. I'm looking forward to find out what happens to their love affair in hell. The author really captured Sera's lack of knowledge of the human world and the language period between heaven and earth!

Cole is a sexy as sin demon who when Sera left him he decide since she couldn't love all him that he would serve his master. He's always loved her so when she shows up his dream he dares to hope she will be his again.

Sera is an angel and while training she catches of glimpse of Cole in her visions. She is drawn to him in a way she can not explain. She decides to down to Earth to try and figure out why she can't stop thinking of him. Cole is alone in the woods when he meets Sera. He is drawn to her, they spend an amazing week together until Cole reveals who he really is and Sera flees. It's been 100 years and Sear is still drawn to him. She can't help be watch him, unable to stay away she goes back to him. They know they can't be together but they just can't ignore the heat between them. She knows it's only a matter of time before her family takes her away. They fight to be together. Are they truly soulmates or are not destined to be?
I enjoyed reading this book, it's definitely an opposite attract love story. I liked the author's style of writing g, I was kept intrigued throughout the whole. We are left with a cliffhanger and I truly can't wait to read the next boom to see what happens.
