The space adventure continues with lots of ups and downs and unexpected twists. I enjoyed this second instalment in the Galaxy Flux series.

Having gotten intimately acquainted with the crew of the Adventurer, I had a lot of fun with their continued adventure. At one point, the group gets separated, so we got to see more of Tara and Zoe working together. I also liked how Grady and Chalmers had an opportunity to sort out their differences. Life threatening situations will do that to you. They make a fun team, and I hope to see more of that develop in future books in the series.

Unlike with System Lost some of the shifts in perspective were jarring for me, which threw me out of the story a little. It was thankfully not too bad and I was able to keep reading.

The space battles were a lot of fun to read, and the final twist at the end was something I definitely didn't see coming and adds a great deal of adversity to the story. I'm definitely curious to find out if this motley crew can figure out a way to fix things and get back to where they need to be.

This is definitely an engaging read, perfect for those who like space battles, interesting worldbuilding, and stories about alien contact.

Adventure in Another Universe Extravaganza!
What a wonderful beginning, nothing too dramatic with having a fancy professor and team on board who knows everything. Right! When they find a solo ship, go aboard to find out what is going on there, and things go awry! How could they possibly be in another Universe? How do they get back to their ship and the other members?
Then this story goes even stranger than that!
Which makes me look forward to the next one.
This addition could be read as a standalone but is so much better reading the series.
I loved this addition to this series! This reminded me of the old Star Trek shows in some ways, but reading this book is so much better!
Thank you, Adrian Murphy, for a great story!
I received a complimentary copy of this story and this is my honest review.

Great sci fi adventure

The worldbuilding is imaginative, the characters are likeable (although prone to banter in high stress situations), and the story is thrilling. Several unanticipated plot twists take the story (and characters) to new, strange, and dangerous places. I'm glad Dark Heart, book 3, will be out this summer. There is graphic violence and a body count.
