Flames picks up right where Ablaze leaves off, the morning after Cheyenne and Luke’s night of passion. In the morning light Cheyenne comes to realize that Luke is the man she has always dreamed of. To be together they will need to face a few people standing in their way, Collin, her boyfriend and Cheyenne’s standoffish father that is also Luke’s boss.
Flames is just as short and fast as Ablaze, with one very steamy barn scene. ;) I can’t wait for third instalment.

It is hard to write a full length review for Flames, as like its predecessor Ablaze it is really short.
The story progresses and Cheyenne and Luke are picked up from the cabin by Collin amongst other people. Cheyenne agrees to Luke’s request that they do things his way with regards to telling people about their relationship…
Cheyenne – Collin was just an image of the past and Luke was imprinted on my future.
Throw in some hot barn sex, and this was another enjoyable, though short installment. I am looking forward to seeing how Cheyenne and Luke’s story continues in Simmer.

Author Morgan Black does not disappoint in the follow up to Ablaze! After their hot affair in the cabin in Colorado Cheyenne and Luke now have some hard decisions to make. How will Cheyenne explain to Collin she no longer wants to marry him and how will she face her father? With a mixture of more steamy scenes and the tough decisions Cheyenne and Luke must face, author Morgan Black brought me right back to where Ablaze left off and continues that story that I cannot seem to get enough of!
What I love most about Morgan's writing is her ability to create such an interesting story in a short amount of pages. After reading the first novella I knew I cared about the characters, but now after reading Flames I can't wait to see where this story goes. There is definitely more heat and steam in this book than there was in Ablaze which made love the story even more.
I'm dying to know what happens next! I give it 5/5 stars!

This novella is really short and it literally starts up from where Ablaze left off. Cheyenne and Luke try find a way to deal with their budding relationship.
You still don't learn anything about Luke but you do learn a little about Cheyenne and her relationship with her father. You also find out some things about her relationship with Collin. Also included is a hot barn scene.....and the story continues.......
