He was groomed to be the leader of the cartel from a child as the heir. However, he had to ascend to power early before it was handed down to him after he over-throws his father. His father was an evil, monstrous and vile man and was killing innocent people for no reason. And because Christian had taken over the cartel his dad tried to murder him because he thought that he was too weak. Christian had to take the cartel from Tennessee to Colombia for several years and go into hiding from all the people who were trying to assassinate him. But as soon as he got back to Tennessee the attempts on his life started up again with his men being send to prison with hard evidence against them for crimes that they had committed. Jeremiah Redford who is the Head of States and a dirty politician who does a lot of illegal and dirty works behind the scenes, and parade the his family in public as the perfect family but behind close doors he and his wife are filthy, downlow and disgusting individuals who only sees their daughters as commodities to help them look good and gain connections.
Jeremiah is in need of help from his illegal activities and he and Christian has decided to enter into an agreement for an arranged marriage to his youngest daughter Zoe. This deal would be beneficial to both parties. Because of his position and influence Jeremiah was to prevent the cops from sniffing around Christian and his business and help keep the cops off he and his men and in return Christian would provide protection and make his problems go away. Jeremiah has a lot of sway with the chief police and other powerful government officials in the state. Christian doesn't want to get married because he sees the hurt that it cause first hand when you give someone your heart and they destroys it. But for his people he would do anything to protect them and Jeremiah is valuable to his needs. This is a marriage of convenience deal and he doesn't plan on falling in love in this marriage. Christian was out of town on business and hurry back home for his wedding. It was scheduled for the next day. However, when touch down he was met with someone trying to kill him at the airport and to top it he received a call from Jeremiah saying that the deal was off and that he didn't need his help anymore because he had found a way to fix it. Christian was pissed not really because of marriage but because he needed this deal to go through, and his connections to help him figure out who was giving the cops hard-core evidence and confidential information on his cartel which causes some of his men to be locked up. Christian always collects on his debt and he doesn't plan on changing. He was thrown for a loop with Jeremiah's call on what to do with this bump in the road when an idea came to him on how he could solve his problems.
Zoe Redford is a beautiful twenty-four year old aspiring singer and songwriter. She's loyal, innocent, sweet, talented and insecure. Her dad tells her that he needs her help to get him out of trouble and that she has to get married to someone that she didn't know in order help to him. Zoe doesn't want to get married and only wants to concentrate on her singer and becoming a musician. However, her parents doesn't believe in her dreams and sees it as a hobby and thinks that she should be focusing on another career like a doctor or a lawyer. Her mom thinks she is being selfish for not wanting to get married and help her father out. But her older sister Ava who's a registered registered nurse at the Ryderson Penitentiary is her only support system and uplifts her daily. Ava is a sassy, fierce, challenging, loyal, defiant and a ride or die big sister that will go toe to toe with anyone to protect her sister. Zoe was crying to Ava about how unfair it was what her father was trying to do to her when he came into her room and tells her that she can stop packing and that the wedding was off. She was ecstatic because she can now make her session at the local bar where she plays couple of nights a week. Christian decided to go to the bar where Zoe was and after her set, the two flirted and got a little hot in the corner until Zoe pull the brakes on everything before it gets any further and Christian takes her in the bar.
Christian tail Zoe home after she left the bar and waited until it was a good time to sneak into her window and kidnap her. Zoe was so taken by the man in the bar and couldn't get any sleep, image her surprise when she was awaken from her sleep telling her come with him threw the window and if she tried to alert her parents that he would kill them. Zoe has always followed the rules and perfect child so she went with him. He takes her home and forced her to get married. Jeremiah was piss off with Christian actions and send a man to break into Christian house and kidnap Zoe and brings her back home. But Christian kills and torture him. He then went to Jeremiah home to warn him to stay away. Being married to Christian gives Zoe more freedom that when she's at home. Because he allows her to continue with her music and her relationship with her sister. She no longer has to go to those ridiculous state dinners and pretends that they were the perfect family for all her dad's friends and connections. There have been a lot of attempted assassination on Christian life between Zoe's father and the men who use to follow his father. Christian had been killing men after men as they tries to kill him. Christian tried to stay away from Zoe and had even made her an accomplice to his torturing of a man all to let her see the monster that he was and to deter her from getting close to him.
They're both attracted to each other but Christian is sacred and doesn't want to lose anyone else. However, as they spends more time together he finds that he can not stay away from her and when they succumb to their desires they could not keep their hands off each other. More than more Zoe finds herself falling in love with her husband. But she can't reconcile with the two sides that he shows her. Should she stay or should she go.
Christian doesn't know who's after him and have been trying to kill him and when Alessio called him one night and tells him that he knows who's after him and disclose the name he was shook. He tells him that it was DeMarco Jones, who was his father's right hand man and someone who he looked up like a after that was after him. Christian had thought he had died seven years ago because he was at his funeral. He was now worried about Zoe because he knew that if he found out that he was married he would want to hurt Zoe to get to him. DeMarco came to Christian house to kill him it Zoe shot and kill him to save his life. Jeremiah kept on trying to get Zoe to come back home and tells her that he didn't envision her life with a criminal and that she was too good for Christian. But she loved her husband and was happy.
Christian was out of town on business with Jovin and allessio when he got a call from Ava that Zoe is missing. Jeremiah had sold Zoe to shayne who's a human trafficker, Shayne kidnaps her when Christian was out of town and collected on his debt. Jeremiah had promised Zoe to two different man. Christian and his sister Camilla went to go and get his wife back. Zoe was out one night when someone heard gun shots and Zoe being shoved in the back of a van with letters Copperhead Shipping on it. Christian was shaken had to move fast because that's code for sex trafficking and he knows who operates it. Copperhead Shipping operates out of a small warehouse at the end of the district. They've been known to move kidnapped women in and out of there in the blink of an eye. Their leader, Shayne has tried to do business with Christian more than once. Shayne would only have taken her to his hidden brothel. It's a safe enough place, hidden in his legitimate business and only accessible if you get an invitation. Christian and Camilla breaks in and rescued his wife killing Shayne. An absorbing addicting and unputdownable story.

This is the 3rd book in the series, though completely stand alone. The characters from the first two books are mentioned gratuitously but not woven into the story in a necessary way. I would give this book a solid 3.5 stars (I rounded up).

Zoe is told by her father that she has to enter an arranged marriage to help the family and his political career. Christian is the head of a cartel and wants to enter into the arranged marriage for some political connections and protections that it will bring to his cartel which is currently seemingly under attack by an unknown enemy. They have a rocky start but are attracted to each other and start to establish and life and routine amidst the chaos. Zoe is an aspiring singer and Christian encourages her dreams, something her parents never supported. Despite her initial fears of him and his life, she realized that he is more supportive of her than her family ever has been.

The main characters were likeable. They were a good match and you could see the relationship grow. There was a story woven in that had some twists and gave some intrigue. The characters were developed enough to show their thoughts and feelings from both perspectives, however they were still a little flat. I enjoy seeing individual personality traits, beyond the generic descriptions so that the characters are distinguishable to me from every other main character. There were some glimpses like when they danced the first night they met, but then retreated back to standard rhetoric. The story was a little disjointed. The arranged marriage was due to the father, but then that story took a backseat for the majority of the book, only resurfacing at the end and then rushing the conclusion. In the mean time another enemy and side story was introduced, but really not necessary if they father story had been given it's fulfillment. Another issue I had was the description of the father's political title, he was referred to as the "head of state". The head of state typically is the president but it was clear the father was not the president but some other political appointment that was vague and didn't seem to be well described. The lack of understanding for politics and positions was disappointing. The same goes for the music industry. It was fine and novel to make her an aspiring singer, however she is new and gigging, singing in local bars two nights a week, and yet the characters seemed to worry about when she made it and went on world tours... I like to be as optimistic and supportive as the next guy but this was silly and unbelievable. The likelihood of it happening no matter how talented you are...but going straight from singing once or twice a week at a local bar to world tours is not really a concern the main characters should be focusing on...not a believable concern. Christian is the literal head of the cartel, has enough money for a private jet and multiple houses but seems to be completely incapable of managing security for his house. He has lots of guys including a team that was supposed to be on duty when Zoe is kidnapped, yet he flies in from out of town and has to rush out to save her with only his sister as back up. It just felt as though there was an idea for these jobs, industries, situations.... but there was little research done to make it believable.

All of that said, I still enjoyed the story and thought it was a pretty quick read, finishing in a couple of hours on a rainy afternoon. Much better than some stories, characters more detailed than some, but could have used more defining to make them stand out. Worth the read.

When the book begins, Christian and Zoe are being forced into an arranged marriage and they are suffering anguish at the thought that they will be married the next day. Christian flies back from visiting friends while Zoe is finishing packing. Suddenly they are told the wedding is off. This should have been a moment of joy for both of them, and it is for Zoe as she goes on to play a gig at a local Nashville bar. Christian, however, knows that if they do not get married that the threat to his family will continue. Christian shows up at the bar and watches her set, compliments her, and as they share a mutual attraction, they share a passionate goodbye kiss. Later that night, Christian goes to her family home, kidnaps her, and forces her to marry him. And so begins the rollercoaster that is their life.

Zoe is a 24-year-old virgin, sheltered and overprotected by her politician father. She has been tightly controlled her whole life. Even though there is a lot of security and protocol in her new life with Christian, she still feels like she has more freedom than when she lived with her family. Especially since Christian does whatever he can to ensure she can continue pursuing her music career. Initially, Zoe is conflicted about her feelings for Christian. He confuses her. She isn’t sure who he is because he is such a contradiction. Nice guy vs Criminal Guy. I think this quote sums it up nicely: “One moment, he is cutting up a body, and the next, he is supporting my dreams.

I especially liked the side character of Camilla, Christian’s sister. She too is a contradiction. She is the heir to the cartel and is being prepared for that role all while in medical school. She plans to be the cartel doctor. She is a good friend to and supporter of Zoe. Camila teaches Zoe how to be a cartel wife and how to handle the tough times of living in a cartel family. Zoe also gets support from her sister Ava, who Christian has made sure could be a part of Zoe’s life. Ava is another interesting side character. She is not only Zoe’s sister, but her best friend too. She works as a RN at a penitentiary, a job that her parents abhor and find embarrassing. While Zoe is submissive to her parents, Ava is the opposite.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. Great plot, great character development and growth, some tough times, some dark times, and ultimately a HEA. Lots of twists. Lots of seggs. Lots of emotion. It is a page turner that I couldn’t put down.

Title Says It All...
Just WOW. I absolutely and thoroughly enjoyed this book! This is Book 3 of the Mobster's Obsession series.

Kira has brought even more intense danger and suspense, yet the romance albeit unthinkable given the circumstances initially, is still salaciously salivating and heart-pumping.

Zoe is in her mid-twenties, the daughter of a politician who has always been concerned about his career, image, and how Zoe can "help the family". Not exactly "Dad of the Year". Just wait until Zoe learns who and what her father really is...

Ava is Zoe's older sister and best friend. She is a nurse in a prison and enjoys what she does with no apologies. They are very close and Ava encourages Zoe to stand up for herself, especially from her parents. Their mother is no angel either. Oh boy. You have to feel for these two girls. At least they have each other.

It is because of Zoe's and Ava's father that Zoe ends up meeting Christian. Christian isn't exactly a stand-up guy, on paper, but he is a good person underneath his dangerous, leader of a cartel, facade, and he ends up caring for Zoe much more than he or Zoe ever imagined. Oddly shortly after the introductions in the story but because of events we won't learn about until near the end of this story, Zoe's father, Jeremiah, recants his desire for Christian and Zoe to marry. Jeremiah continues with his attempts to change Zoe's mind and bring her back home.

There are twists and turns that'll keep your eyes GLUED and the pages a-turnin'. This is not a short story (at least in my opinion) at over 350 pages but it didn't feel like it one bit. I mean it when I say that I enjoyed every page of this book. To be completely transparent, I've loved each book of this series.

Quotes with meaning for me:
ZOE talking to herself internally...
"Don't cry. Just keep folding your jeans and do not cry. You have to be strong. You need to be strong."

ZOE to her sister...
"I'm scared, Ava. I'm terrified of everything happening right now."

CHRISTIAN talking to himself internally...
"Though this might not be the path I thought my life would take, I wouldn't go back and change a single moment of it.".

This is the second book I have read by Kira Cole and I loved it as much as I did the first book. I have read books two and three in the Mobster's Obsession Series and I definitely plan on going back to read the first one. After reading two books by Kira I am confident that she is an author who will not let me down and will deliver a good quality book. She is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. While the books can be read as standalones I feel reading them in order will provide a much better reading experience. The books are interconnected and we get glimpses of previous characters in each couples story.

Marriage and Malice had an original plot that was fun, exciting and action packed with intense intimate scenes that were hot enough to singe the pages. Kira made sure to include wonderful characters who I found easy to feel a connection with making this one entertaining read. Marriage and Malice got my attention the minute I began reading and kept it throughout the entirety of the book. I am super excited to read the next book in this series and meet the next couple.

Zoe's father Jeremiah has set up an arranged a marriage between her and Christian who is a cartel leader. Christian does not take to kindly when Jeremiah tries to back out of their deal. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Which leaves Christian with only one option and that is kidnapping his would-be bride. Zoe has dreams of making it in the music industry, but never had support from her parents. Surprisingly, Zoe finds that support from the man who forced her to marry him. She also had a very close relationship with her sister Ava and learns quickly that her husband has no plans of keeping them apart. The marriage neither Christian or Zoe wanted began to change as they spent more time together. Plus, it didn't hurt that they had hard time keeping their hands to themselves. Christian and Zoe are in for one bumpy ride as they navigate marriage, but soon find out that isn't the only storm coming their way. Will they be able to find their happily ever after or was their marriage doomed from the beginning?

First, and foremost, if your cartel is from the country of Colombia you better make dang sure it’s not spelled Columbia…multiple times. Might seem like an innocent mistake to most people, but it’s irritating for someone with family from Colombia. And, unfortunately that’s not the only mistake. At least two more stand out for me. They weren’t huge plot holes, but big enough that they should’ve been caught at some point. In one Zoe decides she has time to dance before her set. When Christian, and then eventually her boss, find her they’re talking about the set already happening. In another scene there is an intruder in Zoe’s bedroom that Christian shoots and kills. When Christian checks the guy he finds that he doesn’t have a gun. But then Zoe is having nightmares about the guy with a gun. So, yeah, neither really messes with the story but they did make me have to go back a few pages to reread which just messed up the flow.

Even more irritating was the constant back and forth with Zoe and Christian. It wasn’t just with each, but in their own inner monologues. They’d have silent discussions with themselves, make a decision to step back from the other, and then the very next interaction they’re doing the exact opposite. It got old…fast. I just constantly felt like I was missing something. Some thought process or interaction that made the suddenly change their mind.

I’ll be honest, some of my irritation with this book might come from the fact I hadn’t planned on reading it. I started reading Ava’s book and quickly realized that her sister’s book came first. I didn’t get far enough in to figure out if I HAD to read Zoe’s story first, but it already felt like I was missing pieces, so back I went. Despite not not being a big fan of this book, I am going to give Ava’s a chance.

This is the third book of The Mobsters Obsession series. It picks up with the family situation in the prior books. Only now we’re dealing with Christian Herrera (MMC) and Zoe Redford (MFC). Of course he is big, muscled and gorgeous, and she beautiful and innocent.
Someone is still coming after Christian and turning his men of his Cartel into law enforcement where they go to prison. Entering into a marriage of connivence with the unknown Zoe, will hopefully stop the killing. And Zoe is marrying Christian to keep her father alive. When her father reneges on their deal Christian kidnaps Zoe and forces her to marry him.
Along the way and between all kinds of death attempts she realizes Christians not all bad. He even lets her continue to sing. Her one true love is music. Yet she’s not sure she can be a Cartel leaders wife.
There is so many more things at play and lots more people involved. Question is will Zoe accept and come to be the Cartel wife Christian needs. Will they find the man or men that are going after not only Christian and his men but now his sister and Zoe. Andy just how bad is her father…But the big question, will they get that happy ever after?
A gripping story that is absorbing and keeps you guessing. 👍🏻.

Marriage and Malice is Book 3 of Mobster's Obsession by Kira Cole. This is Christian and Zoe's enemies to lovers romance. Christian Herrera is the leader of the Cartel and Zoe is the daughter of Jeremiah Redford Head of State. Christian and Jeremiah made a deal for an arranged marriage between Christian and Zoe. This would give both men protection when needed. Jeremiah would communicate with the Chief of Police and other government officials. The day before the wedding Jeramiah called it off. Christian needed this deal and he knew what he needed to do. Christian kidnapped Zoe, took her to his home where his people were waiting. Christian explained things and gave her a choice. Zoe knew she needed to protect her family, even though she didn't want to marry. Christian and Zoe were married and this is the beginning. There are some steamy scenes, chemistry, danger and action.

Part of the Mobster’s Obsession series each can be read as a standalone connecting via the family so make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Zoe is a sweetheart with a horrible father who sold her to not just the cartel but to several others all she wants is a life of her own and one night she took for herself but that one night was the best leaving her with a little gift, but an accident left her with amnesia and her baby kidnapped. Christian sexy as all get out leader of the cartel yes, he is dangerous, ruthless, deadly everyday he cares for Zoe they both got the surprise with caring for one another until her father decides that she doesn’t need to be with him and tries getting her to leave. When she is taken, he finds himself willing to do what it takes to get his girl back but what about their child who took the baby, will she remember who she is, does he stop the trafficking, will her father get what he deserves, and will they ever get their own HEA despite her father’s intentions?

Christian piqued my curiosity when he first showed up in Allessio and Billie’s story! I found it curious and funny at how quickly Billie took to him. Now, after reading this book, I love Christian even more! There’s just something about Christian that really drew me in! I don’t know if it’s the fact that he’s kind of a walking contradiction; a ruthless cartel leader and a doting brother. Either way, I was all in for him!
I was pleasantly surprised by Chloe. I thought she was going to be this meek young lady and I was glad to see that she had some sass in her. I loved the relationship she had with her sister (who also piqued my curiosity with some of the comments/threats she aimed at Christian.)
The chemistry between Zoe and Christian was absolutely undeniable and just kept getting hotter! I honestly couldn’t get enough of them!.

*late post I’m glad that Christian got his story. Christians upcoming nuptials were not in his plans, but he needed to do what needs done to protect his “family”. When the deal is called off, he takes matters into his own hands and finds his fiancé. Zoe is a lovable, family oriented woman who is also an aspiring musician. She is willing to marry a stranger for the sake of her father, but was not expecting what the outcome. Over time, Zoe is starting to see who she married, as he has two sides/personalities to him. He is not trying to get his feelings involved, but all good live stories go, he falls. Being in the cartel comes with a lot of risks, and when faced with the biggest of them all, Christian is determined what is necessary to save his wife! Overall, this HEA was great because it shows, even the hardened criminals can find love too.

OMG this was another great book from Kira Cole. It was a steamy page turner and the suspense was very intense. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn't even imagine of put it down.It was addicted and I just loved reading this story. Zoe and Christian chemistry and physical attraction were spicy and sexual tension. It has danger and drama and painful moments of what her had done. Dealing with the Cartel was a major problem when you are face to married into the mob. Was this going to be happily ending or will she be happy. Or will this drama be too much that she could handle in her life. Could she be falling in live with him or was they could stand each other during this arrange marriage.
I highly recommend this book and you won't be disappointed. I am voluntarily leaving my honest review. Trina Jones

I’ve loved Christian throughout this series so i was so exited to read his book. We find out at the end of book 2 that’s he’s in the process of accepting an arranged marriage to try and keep the people of his cartel safe.

The day before he’s supposed to say “i do”, the politician this arrangement was made with tries to back out. You don’t back out of a deal with the Herrera Cartel.. so Christian does the only thing he can. Kidnaps his bride to be, Zoe.

Not off to a good start in terms of a relationship but Zoe and Christian grow to care about and love each other. Christian supports and loves Zoe more than either of her parents ever have.

But it turns out, Christian wasn’t the only person Zoe’s Dad owed a debt to..

-enemies to lovers
-forced marriage
-kidnapping
-cartel leader x politician’s daughter
-musician FMC

I loved this. Kira come sure knows how to write a great Mafia story.

This was about Zoe who was supposed to have an arranged marriage to Mafia Don, Christian when it is called off so Christian decides to take matters into his own hands.

Poor Zoe couldn't win no matter what she did with a family like that. But the chemistry that she had eventually with Christian was hot hot hot!! The connection was fiery initially, but the attraction there from the start.

Great writing, fantastic characters even the villians , and a really compelling plot that pulled me in.

Thoroughly enjoyed my time in this book and hope there's more to come!! Great work!!.

This third book of The Mobsters Obsession series by Kira Cole is my favorite...so far. Christian is willing to marry a stranger to help his family, but when the sleazy politician whose daughter, Zoe, Christian was supposed to marry, backs out of the deal, Christian takes matters into his own hands. He kidnaps Zoe and forces her to marry him, but as much as they don't want feelings to get involved, they do. But her father wants her back and not for fatherly love. This book has well-written, compelling characters, and is full of sizzle, steam, action, drama, twists, turns, and so much more. This was a great read!!.

Marriage and Malice, book three in the Mobster’s Obsession series follows cartel leader Christian Herrera and Zoe Redford. When Christian makes a deal with Jeremiah Redford to marry his daughter Zoe, everything is supposed to be mutually beneficial. Jeremiah helps to keep the legal protection Christian needs, and Christian helps Jeremiah with his, not so legal problems, but when Jeremiah changes his mind, Christian kidnaps Zoe and forces her to marry him. Christian only expects Zoe to be a means to an end, but when the pair begin to develop real feelings, Zoe is kidnapped once again.. this time by a human trafficking ring. Will Christian find Zoe in time? And will Jeremiah finally pay for his illegal side?

4.5 stars of Kira Cole awesomeness

If you love enemies to lovers then you'll love Christian & Zoe's story. She's been sold to the cartel by her father & forced into a marriage. Her father is the Head of State which will give the cartel legal protection & in return her father will gain the cartel's help with his not so legal issue's. Zoe get's to see a softer side of her mafia brute of a husband who makes her inside tremble. What lengths will her husband go to to get her back when she is kidnapped by a human trafficking ring?.

Wow, I absolutely loved reading this book, the characters in the story were really captivating. Christian and Zoe are totally opposites, Christian is the head of the Cartel and Zoe is a singer song writer, Zoe is kidnapped while she was sleeping, she is forced in blackmailed to marry the head of the Cartel. Zoe needs time to think about her life she loves singing, she doesn't think their marriage can work, Christian believes they can work, but can they realise their true feelings before it is to late.

Fast paced, high emotion, action packed and smokin as can be.
I love the continuation of this series!
The relationship between Christian and Billie cracks me up.
My favorite thing is how the side characters are just as big a deal as the main characters. They are written so well, you connect with all of them. I can’t wait to see what happens with them!
But….did Zoe get her recording contract????
Forced marriage, cartel, bad parents, growing to love, morally grey that wanted to be in the light, sweet and innocent, fun time at the lake, revenge, kidnapped and rescued, intense love and HEA…this story had it all!.

This is Book 3 in the Mobster's Obsession Series by this author. It is an arranged marriage romance between politician's daughter Zoe and cartel leader Christian. These two flawed but likeable souls and the unique plot make for an intriguing read. It is a love story with drama and steam, danger and suspense, sexual tension and chemistry, and twists and turns, plus appealing secondary characters to keep the reader interested. An engaging page turner. It can be read as a standalone but you enhance your reading pleasure if you read the other books in the series.

This book will take you on an emotional and wild ride due to how Zoe and Christian's characters are written. I wish I could give this book more than just a 5/5-star review because I would. The way Kira writes about the main characters is a journey to a really wonderful HEA but in the meantime, there are lots of suspense, romance and intense what is going to happen next moments. I couldn't STOP reading this book until I had it finished because it is really that great of a must-read book.

Zoe's father is a real piece of work. He sells her to Christian to marry, then tries to cancel the wedding at the last minute. That's a no go for Christian, who kidnaps her, then tells her how it's going to be. That is just their beginning. From there, a tumultuous relationship develops that runs the gamut from enemies to lovers. It is an intense, fast paced story that captivated me from the cover to the last period on the last page. Ms Cole has penned another winner.

Marriage and Malice is a sinfully delicious, dark and twisted tale of love and lies, danger and deception. I’ve been waiting for Christian’s story, and it is amazing!!! As Christian’s truths are revealed throughout this novel, as his relationship with Zoe grows, as the twists and turns continue, I loved it more and more. The moments with Billie are delightful, and I love how we get to experience Christian and Zoe’s love story. Kira Cole delivers big time with this one!

The book was well written and it was such a slow burn love story.
Of course everyone women that thinks a man is horrible when she gets kidnapped but truly they are something doing to protect from the evil lurks in the shadow.
I just love the chemistry they have for each other, he truly loves her in his own way. And she might seem like she’s sacred and afraid but she is a strong woman for herself and for him.
Can’t wait to read what’s next after this book.

This book sucked me in. I enjoyed the plot and I adored the mmc! The fmc made me want to bang my head against the wall. She was whiny, selfish, obnoxious and a huge pushover. I couldn’t stand her! The book however was good, so I was able to overlook her many flaws and the mmc made up for it. (How he could stomach her was beyond me). I also liked how the ending wrapped up nicely.
