A mysterious stranger called Ashby is selling promises of self empowerment to the town's misguided youth via a mysterious drug which seems to be doing more harm than good. As the death rate rises, Ashby arms himself with lies that could destroy The Nation.

With the adults distracted by their own problems surrounding The Nation, the Legends will have to reach out to the Normals Duncan and Rex to help track down the elusive drug dealer. The team falters, however, as Bri and Duncan's relationship grows stronger; something not lost on Allison, who still struggles with feelings for Bri.

Together, the friends must help Rex through his revelation that West Haven is not as quiet as it seems, stop Ashby, and overcome their own insecurities about who they are before believing the falsehoods they are told.

The West Haven Undead, the third book in the gripping series by Nick Savage, thrusts the young Legends of West Haven into a world filled with shifting landscapes and dangerous encounters. After the tragic death of Jack, the group finds themselves facing new challenges and dark forces threatening their town.

A mysterious stranger named Ashby emerges, preying on the vulnerable youth with promises of self-empowerment through a dangerous drug. As the death toll rises, Ashby's web of lies threatens to tear The Nation apart. Meanwhile, the adults of West Haven are preoccupied with their own struggles, leaving the Legends to take matters into their own hands.

In their quest to uncover the truth and bring down Ashby, the Legends must seek help from Normals Duncan and Rex. However, internal conflicts arise as Bri and Duncan's relationship grows stronger, leaving Allison grappling with her own feelings for Bri. Amidst the chaos, the friends must confront their insecurities and unravel the secrets of West Haven before succumbing to the falsehoods they are fed.

Nick Savage crafts a suspenseful narrative that delves into the complexities of friendship, love, and self-discovery. The tension escalates as the Legends confront the dark forces lurking in their midst and struggle to navigate their own personal demons. With vivid descriptions and dynamic character development, Savage captivates readers and keeps them invested in the outcome.

The West Haven Undead is a thrilling installment that pushes the boundaries of the series, exploring themes of trust, identity, and the power of unity. Readers will find themselves engrossed in the relentless pursuit of justice and self-realization as the young heroes battle against both external and internal threats. Savage's skillful storytelling leaves readers eagerly anticipating the next chapter in this enthralling saga.

This is the third book in the West Haven Undead series. And it does not disappoint. Another among their group has died, and the young group who have not been aware that Legends existed—let alone that they were Legends themselves —are all struggling with how to deal with their loss. But now they have someone and something else to focus on. There is a new drug on the streets that poses a great threat to their ability to remain hidden. And both the drug itself and the people behind it need to be dealt with.

I read the previous two books in this series and really enjoyed them. This story is one that draws the reader in and leaves you wanting to know more. I had a hard time putting it down to sleep at night. While it answered a lot of the questions I had after the end of the previous book, it left me with even more questions that I need answers for. I love the concept that this book is based on. The idea that Vampires, Werewolves, and others are not supernatural beings, but that they are simply people who have an autoimmune disease that causes them to sometimes appear as what people call Vampires, Werewolves, or others.

I do need to warn you that this book ends leaving you with a couple of very big questions that won't get answered until book 4 is released, which I believe will be in 2024. I know that I'll be waiting to find out what happens in that one, and if you've been enjoying this series so far, then I expect that you will be too.

If you enjoy stories about Vampires, Werewolves, Fairies, and other unusual creatures, then you will enjoy this book. But I strongly recommend reading the first two in the series if you don't want to feel a bit lost.

I really enjoyed this book from start to finish! I will say throughout there were parts where i needed to slow down a bit as there were multiple storylines happening simultaneously with a lot of information and things happening. Overall, i really enjoyed seeing the characters grow and figure out who they are as they’re going through life and surviving so many things. I’m very curious to see how the story continues with the curveballs thrown throughout book 3. I highly recommend this series as a whole and there’s never really a dull moment, and their story has been consistently evolving and often has you on the edge of your seat wanting to know what happens next.

Overwhelming Odds . . .

The action continues as the Legends group must cope with Jack’s death. With the appearance of a new drug circulating around, urgently needing to be dealt with to prevent unwanted repercussions, they are distracted. People are dying and drug dealer Ashby's web of lies continues to tear everyone apart. Can the Legends stop Ashby’s evil actions? Will the Normals be willing to help in his downfall? Or will this complicate things even further if they get involved?

This story promises a gripping mix of mystery, danger, and heartfelt character growth. The conflict with Ashby and his deadly influence raises real stakes, while the shifting relationships among the Legends make the emotional side compelling. With friendship, tension, and courage at its core, this sounds like a powerful and exciting read from beginning to end.
