Combined Intro Books : Level 1, Intro Books 1-5
The stories in the first 5 books of the Aan Sanook Level 1 series will help you group Thai characters by vowel/consonant and then consonant class, as well as help you review the alphabet in its entirety.
Remembering chunks of information through stories is easier for most people than remembering chunks of information in tables. Stories 2-5 are designed to help you remember which letters are in which class. This is important for reading tones in the future.
We suggest using the 5 “Introduction” books in this series as a reminder before moving on to the main books. However, if you already have a good grasp on the alphabet and can read all of the Thai letter names in Thai, you can skip these books. These words will be included in future books if you continue practicing with our Level 1 books.
