OMG!!! WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.
Levi and Piper met when she comes to Clearwater, Oregon. Piper is looking for a new start after the failure of her restaurant and business partner. Piper mets with the realtor and they head to a home Piper has picked out, it is going to need some repair work but it's all she can afford. Levi is with Clearwater Construction and comes over while the realtor is showing Piper around. Piper explains to Levi what she wants done and he agrees to get those things done. The next day Levi shows up before Piper is out of bed, when she come downstairs to open the door she overhears Levi talking on his phone, explaining about how hard his wood is. As soon as Levi sees Piper he ends his phone call and she tells him he should be taking care of his morning wood before he arrives at his clients home. Levi explains to Piper he was talking about the wood that was delivered to her home, it's to hard and would end up splitting as it ages. Piper tells Levi she's sorry she really thought he was talking about a more personal problem. Later that night while Levi is helping his grandmother at her restaurant he sees Piper outside, he rushes to her asking her if she's checking out the coipition. That's not what Piper was doing, Levi invites her to come inside to met his grandmother but she tells him she's just going home. After Piper ditches Levi he heads back inside to find his grandmother, she tells him to take Piper some food, so leaves heads to her home. When Piper is about to eat there's a knock on her door, Levi brings her some food. Levi invites Piper to come to his grandmother's restaurant but she tells him she done with being a chef. Piper then tells Levi how her business partner embezzled money, she lost everything her life savings, her restaurant, and her love of cooking. Levi tells Piper how sorry he is for her, she tells him she made it out with just enough to start over. Levi tells Piper his grandmother wants to met her and sent him with a sauce she would like for her to test because it's missing something. When Piper taste the sauce she adds a few ingredients, when Levi takes a taste he realizes it's perfect. When Piper gets some sauce on her face and Levi goes to brush it away, he kisses her. As the kiss deepens, Levi tells Piper he's wanted to do that since he first seen her. Levi tells her he needs to go, he needs to get back to the restaurant, but wants to keep kissing Piper. Levi asks Piper if she'll met him at his grandmothers restaurant the next day for lunch and she agrees. When Piper arrives the next day she has the sauce to bring to Levi's grandmother. Levi sees Piper come so he goes to greet her and introduces her to his grandmother. Levi's grandmother tells Piper she has a talent, a true gift and she needs to be cooking. Levi's grandmother invites Piper to work with her as part time, and behind the scenes. Levi's grandmother tell Piper and Levi to go spend the day together. Levi takes. Piper and shows her around Clearwater, and they head to the market. Piper has been wanting to go, she buys all kinds of things. Levi and Piper head back to his apartment where she makes him a meal. As Levi eat he tells her how incredible her meal is, he doesn't have words to describe it. Levi tells Piper he doesn't have dessert for her. Piper tells Levi to close his eyes and she begins to kiss him, but soon he has her and he pleasures her. Levi tells Piper he want to take this to the bedroom and scoops her up carrying her to his room. Levi and Piper make love and it the most amazing time both of them have ever had. Levi tells her he loves her and Piper tells him she loves him. Levi tells Piper he's never letting her go, he want everything with her, she tells him she wants forever with him. When Piper wakes the next morning she tells Levi she's never felt like this before. Piper knows she has finally found her home. Piper heads to work and works along side of Levi's grandmother. The restaurant is busy busier than ever before. Levi invites Piper to go out to the customers but she knows she's not good with that. When Levi's grandmother insists she heads out Levi introduces her and she gets a standing applause. The restaurant is getting booked up for several months all because of Piper. Levi asks Piper to marry him, but she tells him they've only known each other a day. Levi tells her he doesn't care he knows she's the one for him. Piper tells Levi yes she'll marry him. Three months later, Piper's kitchen is done being renovated. Levi makes her close her eyes for the reveal. Piper is so happy with how it turned out. Part of the Clearwater Construction series each can be read as a standalone with a blue collar sexy and the one who captures his undivided attention. Piper is running from everything that went wrong in her life to land her in the position to run to a whole new town Clearwater, Oregon. where no one knows her allowing her the chance at a do over, so she buys an old Victorian house that needs a lot fixing up so hiring Clearwater Construction to assist. Levi sexy as all get out manager to oversee the job is done correctly in renovating her new home the moment, he meets the new owner of the home he knows his life won’t be the same, especially find out she is a chef and informing her that his grandmother owns the Italian restaurant in town just to give her some hope. The magnetic pull is instant, it is intense, and the more they fight it keeping it professional the stronger the pull between them grows but can she learn to trust again after her partner ruined her, will she get the fresh start she is looking for, will his grandmother allow her to do what she love, will her partner get what they deserve, and is her second chance a success in love and work?

The story find Piper Costa moving to the small town of Clearwater, Oregon. She is trying to hide away from her recent past and figure out what she wants to do next. Piper has bought an old Victorian house on the edge of town and it needs some work done. So she has hired Clearwater Construction and ends up with the big and very sexy Levi Angelo managing the job. She and Levi have sparks flying between them from the start. So early one morning when Levi is one his phone and Piper overhears him, there is a big misunderstanding about his "hard wood" that starts the banter and flirting between them. Levi Angelo is a carpenter for Clearwater Construction. He was assigned to help Piper renovate her new house. His grandmother is Nonna Angelo and she owns the Italian restaurant in town.
These two hit it off from the beginning even with the miscommunication about hard wood. I felt so bad for Piper who was so unsure of what the future would bring. Levi was a rock. I enjoyed the interaction between the two. I loved every book I’ve read in this series.

Refuge or redemption?
I really like Piper and Levi and the tornado of passion and love that they get swept up in. We see Piper go from a cracked and dinted shell who doubts her every move, to a confident, happy and loving woman who knows her own value. She is still slightly awkward in public and hilariously funny but she accepts it and even embraces it. The "morning wood" conversation and resulting confrontation has to be the best misunderstanding of the series....so funny! And of course there is Nonna, you have to love Nonna and her over the top brand of love, so very sweet. Piper may have come to Clearwater looking for refuge, but she finds redemption, acceptance, love and home.

A fun story that's set in the Clearwater town that several authors are doing stories in the series. This time it's Piper and Levi. Levi is on the crew that's renovating Piper's house that she just bought when she moved to Clearwater. He's smitten at first sight and she's not too far behind, but just needs to clear some hurdles from her past. This is an instalove and per usual, Megan Wade does it with style, class and humor. It's very low on drama and high on steaminess. I loved the role that Nonna plays into the story as she adds a flavor of humor to the story as well and I can picture her clearly in my head.

This is a hilarious book!! Piper and Levi are attracted to each other but are shy about it. Piper is new in town; looking for a new start, having been through some rough career and personal issues. Levi works at the construction company renovating her house. Levi is patient with Piper and gives her some space.
There were several instances where I was laughing out loud, disrupting my family. I enjoyed the secondary character of Nonna! She was a hoot!

Piper is a chef and relocated to the small town of Clearwater, Oregon. Levi works at Clearwater Construction and was hired by Piper to renovate her fixer upper home. I loved how the author brought Levi and Piper together and how sparks flew between them from the start. From the humor, fun banter, and sweet chemistry to the small town romance and happily ever after Morning Wood is a fun addition to the Clearwater Construction multi-author series. The epilogues were the cherry on top of this sweet romance. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

This story covers all the bases with heartache, humor, new beginnings and plenty of sparks between Levi and Piper. She's trying to start over and find her way again. She just had no idea that she was going to find her biggest cheerleader in Levi. Their back and forth provides a lot of humor and heat throughout the story. I liked both characters and the storyline. It's not a long one, but overall provides a sweet, instant love story that I enjoyed

Ver Piper se reerguer, voltar a sonhar e viver o seu sonho foi bom demais. E o Levi sempre ali ao seu lado, apoiando, ajudando e dando aquele empurrãozinho quando necessário. E pra completar, os epílogos foram perfeitos! Um romance que dá gosto de ler. Eu super recomendo!

This was a great small town romance. It was a short, well written story with a great flow. I loved the feel of the story and characters. Piper and Levi had great chemistry and I loved their banter. It was just my type of story.

This book was funny and I absolutely loved these two characters.
Piper moved to a new town ready for a new start , thinking the past can stay in the past. But right from meeting Levi he has re-opened her eyes and made the fear go away. Her passion returned.
Together the attraction and chemistry was instant. Together they found a happy future.

What a fun, steamy short read. Piper is a chef. She just relocated and has a new chef position and is fixing up her home.
Levi is working with the construction company trying to create her home to her specifications.
The banter and chemistry between these two is off the charts.
Levi is hilarious and his Nonna is something else. He is so patient with Piper.
Such a fun read.

Adorable storyline with likable characters, this newest addition to the Clearwater Construction series did not disappoint. Piper and Levi’s story was entertaining from their first meeting to the blossoming of their romance. Fun banter with steamy heat level this was a quick read that will leave you wanting more.

The connection and chemistry between these two was instant and believable and moved along quickly. The characters were likeable, I enjoyed their interactions as well as those between their family and friends. I enjoyed their story.

Worth reading this book like the whole series, the plot has everything to give you an entertaining, fun, steamy reading. Piper was not at the best moment of her life, she had moved to a small town where she was starting a new stage in her life, and there she met Levi, with whom there had been feelings since they first met. This couple has their happy forever.

Piper and Levi's story was incredible story to read. Neither was looking for love but found it in a renovation and chef kitchen. Piper starting new in a small town after losing everything. Levi finding love at a new renovation. Levi and his morning wood helping piper find her spark as a chef again.😃😃😂

Morning Wood is a fun tongue-in-cheek read. Double entendres flow freely as a budding instalove romance evolves mixed with new beginnings and second chances. Passions are reignited and new chapters are written in the lives of Levi and Piper. A most enjoyable read in this series.

Piper and Levi’s introduction is perfect. There were so many times I laughed out loud. Add Levi’s grandma in the mix and it is just adorable! Great book included in the Clearwater Construction series!
