Eclipse of Fate

Rate this book
“I was born of shadows and fated to ruin, now that fate is tied to more than just me,”

Fate can be cruel in its dealings of suffering. This is one we weather together. Rain pelts the window—the dreary day is a reflection of the sadness that consumes us all. Everything I thought I knew about my life was turned upside down when I stepped into Ravendene. Now that I’ve chosen my path, fate has once again pushed me in another direction.

The kingdom is at war with itself, and so am I.

My magic is manifesting, but with it comes even more unknown. While I try to be strong for the kingdom and the family I have decided are my own, the evil that works against us becomes even darker.

The duel is coming…and I can't help but worry that it’s not the decision meant to be made.

When secrets are revealed—so is the truth.SERIES CONTENT This is an adult fantasy series with dark elements that may be considered sensitive for some readers, including emotional and physical trauma, violence, adult language, explicit romance, drug and alcohol use/abuse, and death. When I got my ARC for the Eclipse of Fate, Book 2 in The Moon Raven Trilogy by Blake Gallows, I dropped everything and dived right into it. Blake has not just captured my heart with Fated Unkindness, Book 1 of the series; she has woven her words into my soul. I was immersed in the story, feeling every emotion alongside the characters. I laughed and cried, and I left my heart on those pages. So you can imagine how excited I was for the Eclipse of Fate! I wondered if it would live up to the standards, and oh, how it did! I've devoured Eclipse of Fate and fell in love with the story all over again.

I've often said I've never seen a villain written so masterfully as Blake wrote the character of Cano. And to see Eclipse of Fate open with his chapter was just utter perfection. Blake gifts us multiple POVs, and I'm so thankful for that; we get to see and experience all the events and emotions through the eyes of more than one or two main characters. We see the bigger picture and understand everyone's motives, wishes, and fears. Even those of a villain, we see what the effects of childhood trauma and abuse can be and how they can manifest later on. As difficult as it is to read and as horrible as some of his actions are, Blake allows us not to pardon but to understand where some of it is coming from. Cano's chapters are some of the most brilliant writing I've experienced, and I am honored to have been given an opportunity to read the ARC Eclipse of Fate.

Does the brilliance stop there? Of course not! Eclipse of Fate is a true masterpiece, offering a story of undying love for those closest to you and everyone else, passion and compassion, fighting for higher goals, fighting for those who cannot fight, and ultimate sacrifice. Oh, the times I've cried, laughed, sat on the edge of my chair, and held my breath waiting—they are too many to count.

Eclipse of Fate continues where Fated Unkindness ended. We follow Raelle, Dax, and their found family after the battle of Loema. There are so many twists and turns, some new characters, but the love the main characters share while each fighting their inner demons remains. Seeing Dax struggle with his power and its potential consequences is heartbreaking, yet witnessing the love and support Raelle offers is beautiful. I love Trent and cannot get enough of him, and I'm so excited to see what the future holds for him. Yes, Raelle and Dax are the main characters, but Trent, Kait, and others are equally important, and you want them to have their HEA.

And that ending, Blake, how am I to wait for Book 3? Ever since reading Fated Unkindness, The Moon Raven trilogy has been stuck in my mind, and that will continue after I wait for the third and final book. Please, give Blake and this series a chance; you will love every single page of this dark fantasy.

What will you find here?

A shadow daddy has entered the chat, I repeat a shadow daddy has entered the chat.

I’m at a loss of words for this one because I’m still processing the many emotions I felt while reading this book. So let’s dive in shall we.

This is book two in the Moon Raven Trilogy & after the cliffhanger in book one, I desperately needed answers and resolve.

In book two, we are still following our FMC Raelle, and MMC Dax. As they fight to rebuild a kingdom lost, secrets of magic are unearthed & those once believed to be dead return to the land of the living. There are a lot of high stake moments & battles in Eclipse of Fate, that is setting us up for the finale of the trilogy in book 3.

Absolutely devoured this book, and I highly recommend reading the first book then diving into this one. 🖤

This book was everything I was expecting it to be and so much more. I absolutely LOVE that it started out with our favorite villain's POV. The multiple POVs really bring this story to life. We really see the development of each character throughout the entire story, without it dragging on. We see pain, sorrow, and sadness, but we also love passion and fire!
There are a few total plot twists that I most definitely didn't see coming, and they just had me wanting to read more.
I'm super excited to see where book 3 leads us.

-3/27/25 reread- It still hurts just as much as the first time

I'm destroyed emotionally, physically, and spiritually by this book and I don't know what to do with myself while I wait for the final book. I lost count of how many times I wanted to cry, scream, throw my Kindle and, just spend pages holding my breath. I'm obsessed with this series, without any doubt a god tier book. I beg all of you to read it.

✨Eclipse of Fate✨

I’m perishing. 😱🫣 I barely put this sequel to Fated Unkindness down. Just went through my day doing chores with my kindle glued in my hand, because this was INTENSE. AND THERE’S STILL SO MANY MYSTERIES, BROOKE!

In EOF, we rejoin our found family just a couple weeks after book one’s cliffhanger and who does she start that book with? The ONE and ONLY villain’s POV!! Everything seems hopeless and yet, even that word has ‘hope’ in it. We fly (ha. ha.) through the pages wondering: who lived? Who didn’t? Who’s the villain? Who’s a traitor? We meet new, handsome characters and they make us wonder where these romances are going. There’s so much chaos; it’s lovely.

And yet, we still get such a wonderful story full of plot twists around every corner, magic and shifter fae, spice is still spicing (3/5), and the emotional depth is 🤌.

Blake does such a phenomenal job navigating through the character’s grief as they address what happened in book one and past trauma. The characters, specifically Rae and Dax, face defeat and ruin and I love how they continue to grow and face it with bravery and vulnerability. And their chosen family- Trent, Kait, Miles, Ambriel, and some new faces- walk alongside them.

But even though they have each other, the destruction Cano created is just the tip of the ice berg. I have so many theories and hopes and wants for answers in book three. I CANT wait!!

Some tropes you might see in Eclipse of Fate are winged broody males, strong FMCs, chosen one, shadow daddy, complex characters and villains, unique bonds, mysteries and plot twists, high language, please check triggers, “My wife. My queen”. And I know I’m forgetting some!

Thank you, Blake, for this arc. My mind is still blown.

If you’re looking for a dark romantasy with a shadow wielding fae shifter, look no further. I loved book two of The Moon Raven Trilogy even more than the first. Blake can weave an amazing story that is simultaneously full of action/conflict, character development, heart ache, laughs, plot twists, tension and spice. We get so many character’s POV’s, and I’ve never felt more connected to all of the characters in a series. I love that we get to see all of their thoughts, especially the villain’s, where we understand him more. I’m so ready for the final book in the trilogy, or am I? 🥲

I absolutely loved this book. It put me on a bit of an emotional roller coaster but in the end it’s well worth it. Quotes I loved…. “I will always be with you. No matter what happens today, just know that my love for you glows brighter than the moon on the clearest night sky," He kisses the path my tears steadily take. "You broke down my walls before either of us knew it was happen-ing. I love you with my entire soul."
And
"I'm sorry for the monster that I'm about to become."
****You need to read this series I promise it won’t disappoint. Dax is everything you want in a morally grey touch her and you die type of man. I CANT WAIT FOR BOOK 3 🩷💚💚

Picking up right where Fated Unkindness left us hanging, this sequel plunges us deeper into a world of shadows, love, and prophecies that twist and turn like a labyrinth of emotions. 🌀

🔮 Magical Manifestations and Inner Turmoil 🔮
This time around, Blake Gallows cranks up the intensity. We see Raelle and Dax grappling with not just external conflicts but also their burgeoning powers and responsibilities. Raelle’s strength and resolve shine as brightly as the magic she wields, while Dax’s struggle with his own terrifying capabilities feels so raw, it’s almost palpable. These elements weave a compelling tapestry of heroism tinged with fear—oh, the chills!

🏰 Kingdom at War: A Duel of Destinies 🏰
Gallows throws us headfirst into a kingdom fractured by war, where allegiances are as shifting as the sands. The political intrigue? It’s like a chess game where every piece moves with lethal intent. And with every chapter, the stakes catapult higher, leaving me clinging to my Kindle like it’s the only lifeline in a storm.

👥 Multi-POV Mastery: Villains and Heroes Alike 👥
The brilliance of multiple perspectives shines here more than ever. Cano’s chapters—a villain so masterfully penned he steals the scene—are a stroke of genius. They provide a window into the complexities of evil, making him a character you hate to love. This narrative choice enriches the story, offering a kaleidoscope of viewpoints that add depth and empathy to the sprawling tale.

🌹 Romantic Rendezvous Amidst Ruin 🌹
Oh, the romance! It simmers, it burns, it soothes. The evolution of Raelle and Dax’s relationship amidst chaos is nothing short of a masterclass in slow-burn love stories. Their commitment, tested by fire and shadow, blossoms into a partnership that’s as inspiring as it is enviable. And let’s not forget the new faces and potential romances that tease and tantalize—Blake knows how to keep us hooked!

🌠 A Cascade of Emotions: From Tears to Triumph 🌠
Every page of Eclipse of Fate is a heart-tugging journey. I laughed, I cried, and yes, I screamed at the surprises that leaped from the pages. Gallows’ ability to convey deep, visceral emotion through her characters is exceptional. Each triumph and tragedy felt like it was happening to a friend, pulling me deeper into the tapestry of their lives.

🔥 Final Verdict: A Fantasy Phenomenon Not to Be Missed! 🔥
Eclipse of Fate is a whirlwind of action, emotion, and intrigue that binds you with its spell and refuses to let go. The depth of character development, the ingenious plot twists, and the sheer emotional weight make this sequel not just a worthy follow-up but a standout story in its own right.

As the wait for the third book begins, I’m left with theories, hopes, and a desperate need to return to the world of The Moon Raven. Blake Gallows has truly outdone herself, raising the bar for dark romantic fantasy. If you thought Fated Unkindness was a ride, strap in because Eclipse of Fate is a whole new level of epic.

And to Blake, if you’re reading this—my emotions are in your hands, and I’m both terrified and thrilled to see where you take us next! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/ 🌶️🌶️🌶️

A captivating and immersive novel that delves deep into the themes of destiny, free will, and the moral complexities of human nature. Gallows crafts a story that is both dark and introspective, drawing readers into a richly detailed world where every choice carries significant weight. The protagonist's journey is at the heart of this tale, and Gallows does an excellent job of developing a character who is both relatable and deeply flawed.

The internal struggles faced by the protagonist—torn between predetermined fate and the desire to shape their own future—create a compelling narrative that keeps the reader invested from start to finish. The emotional depth of the character is palpable, making their journey through this shadowy world all the more engaging. Gallows' world-building is another standout aspect of the novel. The settings are vividly described, with an atmosphere that is both eerie and enchanting. Whether it's the mist-shrouded forests or the ancient, crumbling cities, every location feels meticulously crafted and integral to the story's overall mood.

he attention to detail in the environment helps to create a sense of immersion that is difficult to escape. The plot of "Eclipse of Fate" is filled with twists and turns, keeping the reader on their toes as the story unfolds. Gallows masterfully balances action with moments of quiet reflection, allowing the narrative to explore complex themes without losing its momentum. The exploration of fate versus free will is particularly well done, providing readers with thought-provoking questions that linger long after the book is finished.

A powerful and thought-provoking read that offers a unique blend of dark fantasy and philosophical exploration. Blake Gallows has crafted a story that is both emotionally resonant and intellectually stimulating, making it a must-read for fans of the genre. The novel's strengths in character development, world-building, and thematic depth make it a highly recommended read.

📚 Review:
This 2nd book (and first) is a must read for fantasy, romantasy, and lovers of deep character drama and world building. I was mesmerized by these thoroughly complex characters in this deepening installment. All the feels, the bated breath, the loss of time and place I felt whilst immersing myself with these characters I so love...I was transfixed!

Our fated pair, Raelle & Dax, encounter treachery, and secrets revealed that puts their love and their kingdom to the ultimate test. I was sweating bullets at a particular set piece battle, staged in a Coliseum no less! Displays of magic are palpable and inventively described, leaving smoke hanging in the air, the smell of burnt embers singing your nose and the pain of every blast squeezing the heart in your chest.

I didn't know I could love Dax more...my sweet and broody, fire eyed raven 💕 His inner turmoil, fear of his own power, and the torture (literal 😱) to which he's put through had me in continual rapture of him and fear for him. This is a testament to how wholly complex and compelling he is written by Blake.

Raelle's growth into her powers is wonderfully paced, leading from book one to this one. The subtlety of the pair's dynamic amongst the drama that unfolds is delicately woven between the more intense action and suspense sequences. Character reactions and their shifts to one another in dialog exchanges, and the pauses in between, are just as impactful as a blow of a sword. They are lush with moments of character internalization.

We get dungeons, torture, battles, displays of immense power, fear, passion, and anger. Oh and villains... let's not forget the villains we love to hate😈 But made even better by the addition of deepening flashbacks that illuminates more shades of the morally grey we so love.

This was a juggernaut of a second installment in a trilogy that I believe will leave an indelible mark on the fantasy book world!

This book starts with the aftermath of a significant loss. In anticipation of the big dual between Dax and Cano. Raelle anticipating her ascension, is unsure whether they should move forward with this dual, especially with her powers growing and her seer senses showing her images of the future.

This book starts quickly with the known dual a main focus of the start of the book. Having small glimpses of the future of this dual in book one, the reader is already prepared for a direction the story would drive to. Thought the twists and turns are still there, especially when you add in Ambriel and the introduction of her brother Alaric. We see both characters play a bigger role in assisting Raelle toward her Queenship, though not exactly approved by the main crew.

This book, like book one, does have a lot of flashbacks, to try to explain the current situation. This does become a bit heavier toward the middle of the book. This for me did slow the pacing of moving the story forward about 40% of the way in. While necessary to understand the motives of the characters and changing of character ARCs, it did make some of the middle of the book slower in progression. I did enjoy the character changes in this book and getting a better idea of the character of Alaric, who it seems will play a crucial role in the ascension of the Queen. There is a lot of character angst in dissention, even when working toward a common goal, because after seeing the main turn of Cano in book one, who can we really trust.

This book added the necessary information, I myself could have used a little more of a breakup between flashbacks and current plot progression, but that is a person preference as I have a hard time with dual timelines and frequent flashbacks, especially when not linear. Overall, this was a good read and I look forward to seeing how Gallows ends this trilogy.

I had the absolute honor to be able to read this beautiful book early. So without giving too much away, let’s get into it.

Eclipse of Fate is book 2 in the Moon Raven Trilogy which picks up where Fated Unkindness left off, and I could not have been happier to be taken back to this world that Blake created.

The characters are absolutely one of a kind, from the villains to the heroes. Their emotions are so palpable that I feel like I am feeling the emotions myself. Each character is so different from the others and it is so easy to know who is speaking without even having to look. Also, the chemistry between them is so so so good, I ate it uppppp. The character development was beautifully done throughout the story, and the build up for others is leaving me so excited to see where they go.

The story line is also one of a kind and will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the entire story. I absolutely love the way she keeps you guessing throughout the book. There isn’t a point while reading where I got distracted or bored. It’s a constant build and phenomenally written.

Blake has a beautiful gift for writing and will snap your attention to the story so strongly, the next thing you know you will be at the end of the book begging for more.

Ohhh, and the spice?! YESSSS just YESSS!! SO GOOD!!! Who doesn’t love a shadow daddy? 🖤😮‍💨🫠

This world that Blake has created is a world that I never want to leave. I don’t know how she does it, but her writing will completely immerse you into the story until nothing around you exists. She is an auto buy author for me and I HIGHLY recommend joining us in these beautiful worlds that Blake creates.

I will stay absolutely feral for the final book of this trilogy, I cannot wait to see what’s to come!

obsessed with this series!

I went into this book thinking I was ready for anything. After that ending how could I not be.

I WAS NOT READY

Not even close

The battles, the fights, the laughter, the love, the spice (*fans self off) and everything in between was AMAZING!

Raelle might be one of my top favorite Fmcs. She’s come such a long way from where her story began but thru it all she’s always trusted her instinct. It’s inspiring to read about an Fmc who isn’t afraid to trust in herself, even when she’s being put on the spot or met with resistance, she stays true to who she is and I love it. Honestly all the characters in this story are fantastic. The good and the bad. They’re relatable and beautifully flawed. I don’t think there were any moments where I thought “we need less of this characters” not even once. I wanted it all. If the author ever decided to write spinoffs with the side characters (who really feel like MCs at times) I would 1000% read those books too.

You know a book is good when it’s all you can think of. Read two chapters, put the book down, but it won’t stop calling to you. That’s this series. I wanted, no needed, to know what was gonna happen next. I ate this book up and when I got to the last 20% I was dreading getting to the end of the book because then that means I have to read the next one and I AM NOT READY FOR IT TO BE OVER!

Blake has done it again. I absolutely loved the next installment of The Moon Raven Trilogy. Eclipse of Fate picks up right where Book one ends. You jump right back in the action. We are back with Raelle, Dax, and their family after the battle of Loema. We have another emotional roller-coaster in this book with so many twists and turns. Chapter 21 about killed me.

The character development in this story was phenomenal. You get to see the different POV's and watching each character develop throughout the story. We have Raelle develop into her powers and Dax trying to control his darkness. They learn how they can lean on each other. I just love them.
Blake was really good about putting all of the characters' emotions and grief into the story. I can't wait to see more of Trent, Kait, Ambriel, Alaric and even our villain Cano.

After that ending I NEED to know what happens next. That cliffy has you just dangling over the edge and leaving you with so many questions.

Thank you so much for this ARC! I can’t wait for book 3! 🖤

"My hands are the only hands to touch you again. I've never been a possessive man, Raelle. But I've also never felt the way I do about anyone other than you. I will kill for you. I will raise armies to fight for you and destroy the realm to lay the crown at your feet if I have too." -Dax🐦‍⬛

Guys, this book right here! Talk about an emotional freaking rollercoaster! I really took my time with it and I’m so glad I did. Every time I was convinced I knew what was about to happen, something else happened entirely. I LOVED IT! That feeling of impending doom, being so wrong and then completely surprised really threw me off my axis here. My Kindle took a beating. I was sad, anxious, ELATED, sooooo so angry, confused, happy, sad again, angry again…really just doubting everything at some point during this read through. 😭🫣 You got me, Blake Gallows, you really did! That cliffhanger ending was BRUTAL!!

This was EVERYTHING I could have ever dreamed of in a sequel. The chemistry between all of the characters was on point. 🔥 The banter was hilarious and really drew me into their world. The character development was outstanding! I loved getting to know more about the side characters: Trent, Ambriel, Kait, Alaric, Cano, Miles. 🥺 Seriously, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… MULT-POV Queen 🙌

Also, can I just say that Dax, Trent and Alaric sound sexy as hell? 🥵 The author knows how to write them…

You will enjoy this sequel even more than the first book! Don’t even try to predict anything here…it is completely unpredictable.

🤔 Omg, now that I’m sitting here thinking about it…she was dropping hints all along the way! Pay attention, folks. 🫡

Eclipse of Fate
By @blakegallows

I was once again immersed into Blakes' amazing world building in Book 2. I was again thoroughly fascinated with how the story developed throughout Book 2.

Main and side characters are now well developed and I have become completely invested in their intricate storylines, and how they intertwine and converge with each other - through the great use of the multi POVs.

It has every trope and fantasy theme that could draw you in - action, banter, propecies, fae, shifters, dragons, witches, seers and so many more twists and turns than Book. Not to mention that cliffhanger! - I will wait with bated breath to find out the conclusion of those storylines!

I'm so in love with these first 2 Books so far, they have captivated and intrigued me in ways that few fantasy reads have grabbed me in the past. Will look forward to the conclusion of The Moon Raven Trilogy in Book 3 🖤

Blake does it again!!!! I couldn’t put this down and I need more!

Song: Vivid by Daisy Gray

Quote: “Love is painful and raw, and happiness comes at a price”

Tropes: Found Family, Fated Mates, Cute Nicknames, Strong FMCs, Shadow Daddy, Multiple POVs, Bonds, and so much more

Firstly, I want to thank you, Blake for gifting me this arc. All of my thoughts and opinions are my own. 🥰

I am struggling to find the right words that encompass all that I feel about this series. It is seriously one of my top 2024 reads. Just when I thought the plot couldn’t twist anymore there it went again. There are so many ups and downs and WHAT THE HECK moments in book 2. I was scared for my life no less than 3 times. This book really gives it all, happiness, sadness, tragedy, humor, and a whole plethora of book boyfriends to choose from. This book not only offers several main character POVs but also villain POVs and each book has introduced more characters for you to love and hate. I’m hoping for some redemption come book 3 and rooting for a couple of people to fall in love. If this book isn’t on your TBR add it and thank me later!

Just blown away!! If you haven’t already started this series you are missing out BIG TIME! I can not express to you how much you need to RUN to this series and soak in these characters and their stories!

The heat between the characters🔥,the hilarious banter and friendships that are more like family, and that shadow daddy.. woooohh😏🫠!! This book had me on a roller coaster of emotions and the cliffhanger is leaving me RAVENOUS for book three!

I am officially past my Sarah Maas and Fourth Wing men withdrawals! There is a new dark king, and he and his fellow delicious men of the realm are going to leave me with a b**ch of a hangover and wishing I was sandwiched between them.

🔥Favorite Quotes🔥

“Open your eyes and touch what’s yours my dark king”

“I cant wait until the next time little creature. But I promise you, your punishment will be much more satisfying”

“If you’d rather eat with the dogs, I can throw some slop out back for you. Otherwise, lose the bitch fit and go take a bath! You F*cking stink!”

Omg where to start! Eclipse of Fate picks right back up from Fated Unkindness! There is so much action and character building done throughout that you really get drawn back in to the story. There is definitely more back stories given to help understand the characters and their lives. I was at the edge of my seat reading, having to keep turning the page to know what happens next.
I love how there are many relationships built throughout. Whether it be friendships or love interests. They are all intertwined while being built separately. I would say the spice is 🌶️🌶️🌶️ but this is definitely a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ this is my first fantasy series that I have read with Fae and Shifters. I was really hesitant because it was new to me. I wasn’t sure if id be able to relate and get into the story being told. After reading these, I’m hooked! The drama and action. The love and pain. This series is one of my favorites for this year! 💜

Where do I start?!?! This book was everything! The second novel in the Moon Raven Trilogy continued with phenomenal world building & character growth. The book flows with a pristine Romantasy palette pleasing storyline . Encompassed with twists and turns, keeping you on the edge of your seat wanting more, yet not wanting it to end.
The relationship between Dax & Raelle, with intense chemistry & spice is chef’s kiss! The spicy scenes were written so tastefully with just the right amount of spice. Hat’s off to, Blake! I am so in love with this trilogy, it has quickly claimed a top spot in the list of books I wish I could experience again for the first time. I am anticipating the third book, with hopefully more of Trent 😉 but I don’t want it to end. Blake Gallows is on my auto buy author list with this one!

Book 2 picks up right where Book 1 ends and jumps right back into the action. We also get SO MUCH character development and I am here for it! I love feeling all of the emotions when I read a book whether it’s anger, sadness, happy, etc. and this sequel gave me all the feels. I think it’s rare that I find a sequel that I enjoy more than the first, but Eclipse of Fate is definitely that book for me. Naturally the end of the book left me feeling very unwell..in the best way possible as I eagerly await the release of Book 3!!

If you love enemies to lovers, strong female characters, slow burn romantasy, touch her and 💀 then this is the series for you. Do yourself a favor and go read Fated Unkindness on KU and then preorder Eclipse of Fate before its release of May 15th.

Thank you Blake for giving me the chance to read!! So excited to watch your career grow as an author!!

The Moon Raven Trilogy is back, with more action, angst, love, betrayal, and twists. Are you ready!? Dive into the Relam of Orendara and the kingdom of Aldramani to see what your favorite characters are doing after the fallout of book one.

If you thought Book 1 in the Moon Raven Trilogy was an emotional experience, then book 2 was a kaleidoscope of emotions. Firstly, Blake Gallows is a mastermind. This trilogy has so many twists and turns and honestly I never see them coming.

Raelle and Dax= relationship goals…
Dax= swoon worthy every time…

I love this book, I love this trilogy but I don’t know that I’m emotionally able to handle waiting for book 3 after that cliffhanger. 😭

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ GO READ THIS TRILOGY!!!! Like right now (except for book 3) we all have to wait in purgatory until Blake decides to release us from the chokehold she has us all in.

Eclipse of Fate, the second book in the Moon Raven Trilogy by Blake Gallows, is an absolute rollercoaster of secrets, deception, and jaw-dropping twists that kept me on the edge of my seat. Gallows creates an amazing tale full of fated mates, fae, magic, dragons, and a villain you can’t help but despise - everything that makes up a fantasy novel that I love!

Following Raelle’s journey as she discovers her true power, alongside her family - Dax, Trent, Ambriel, Kait, and some intriguing new characters 🤫🤐 - was an emotional ride. I loved the multiple points of view that Gallows writes this story in, giving us a deeper understanding of each characters growth and development. I’m fully invested in this story and can’t wait to see where it goes next!

The cliffhanger, though? 😱 Definitely counting down the days for the release of book 3!!

Okaaaay… I started book 2 immediately after book 1… I had a feeling I might end up sympathizing for our “Villain”?? He is terrible, but also I feel so bad for him!! So many flashbacks, which I really love in books, that make the current events/choices start to make sense. Gotta absolutely love the spicy scenes… drooling over Dax and Raelle!! Lots of mysteries from book 1 are answered in books 2!! But the amount of heartbreak?! Then relief! Then heartbreak again?!? Why?!
But one of my favorite things, when an already bada** fmc really comes into her power!! I love to see it and live for it!!
Also, love all the tension and sexual frustration in this book lol
But again! Sooo many questions and cliffhangers left, I need answers now!!! Can’t wait for book 3, the end of The Moon Raven Trilogy… can’t wait to dive into Moon Raven Rising!

Eclipse of Fate" makes its triumphant return to Ravendene. Following Cano's defeat, Dax has assumed control. However, Cano has issued a formal challenge to Dax for a duel. In a desperate attempt to secure victory, Cano resorts to the forbidden practice of dark magic.

Raelle's journey takes a significant turn as she ascends during an eclipse. We are given the opportunity to witness her growth and development as she gains control over her newfound power. Additionally, we delve deeper into Cano's past, uncovering the reasons behind his emotional turmoil.

"When secrets are revealed--so is the truth."

I cannot wait for the third installment 𝑴𝒐𝒐𝒏 𝑹𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝑹𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒈!! Will Cano and Dax finally be fighting for the same side? What will happen to Raelle?
