What if your idea of ‘sexy’ is a nerd? A well-read man, who can hold an engaging conversation. That’s all Austen Moore wants. Her expectation doesn’t include a chiseled face, and defined muscles. The last thing she expects is a tall hipster who looks like he knows his way around the bedroom. She is ready to dismiss him on sight. Can Austen give him a chance to prove he can stimulate both her mind and body?

Niccoyan Zheng is a Canadian wife, mother, and foodie. The written word has always held her captive. Even before her debut novel “Consumed,” her characters have been urging her to write their stories for years. She looks forward to sharing their diversity, complexity and flaws.
Austen and Mr. Darcy are perfect together. This was a whirlwind romance with a nosey sister and a ton of steam. I can’t wait for more from this author.
Librarian: Book Boyfriend Dating Agency by Niccoyan Zheng is a part of a delightful series featuring “book boyfriends”. This story has connections to the KNK Matchmaking Agency series. Pleasurer featured Bronte Moore, sister to the heroine of this book. Austen Moore is a college professor, successful in her career but not so successful in love. She has relegated love to the back burner of her life and has made peace with that decision. Her younger sister has other ideas and books a date for Austen through a dating agency. Austen reluctantly agrees to keep the date, and she is so glad she did. Intelligent and engaging, librarian Cort Darcy checks all the boyfriend-boxes Austen didn’t know she had! Their chemistry is amazing and soon they are wondering when is “too” soon to declare that they are a match made in storybook heaven! Niccoyan Zheng is a phenomenal writer, and I always enjoy her books, and this one is no exception. It was easy to read and with absolutely charming characters. She always sprinkles in mentions of characters from other books…I love it! https://theretiredreader.com/f/librar...
This book is an absolute delight—funny, cute, and sweet in all the right ways. From the very first page, it placed a smile on my face that never left. The story centers around two incredibly relatable characters who are both unapologetic book nerds, making them even more endearing.
Austen, a professor who isn't exactly on the hunt for love, finds herself in a hilarious predicament when her well-meaning sister sets her up on a blind date. Cout the charming librarian, who quickly becomes more than just a potential date—he becomes the kind of character you root for. Their chemistry is palpable, and their interactions are filled with witty banter and heartwarming moments.
One scene in particular, a steamy yet funny encounter, will forever live rent-free in my head. It’s the kind of moment that perfectly balances humor and romance
And let’s not forget the adorable nickname he gives Austen—"TEN." It’s a small detail, but it captures the playful and affectionate dynamic between them.
Overall, this book is a wonderful read that’s guaranteed to lift your spirits. If you’re looking for a romance that’s lighthearted, full of humor, and leaves you with a warm, fuzzy feeling, this one is definitely worth picking up!
The latest book in the series is all about Austen Moore. She is a literary professor who has sworn off relationships. However, after the prompting of her younger sister, she set up a blind date via the Book Boyfriend Dating Agency App. Her blind date turns out to be Court. He is a Librarian who is paired with Austen. After an unexpected delay, our couple night begins to take off. Austen and Court soon learn that they have some differences& similarities especially when it comes to their siblings. I won’t spoil the story, but there is plenty of steamy romance, humor, and a few surprises. I think Austen and Court complement each other well. I also enjoy the relationship between Austen and her sisters as well. I laughed at several parts. Of course, no story would be complete without the HEA. Overall, I enjoyed this story.
I have four words to begin my review. I loved this book!! First of all Niccoyan Zheng had me at the title, Librarian. There's just something very mysterious and sexy about a male librarian. And Cort Darcy definitely fits the description! And add Austen, named after the famous author Jane, and you've got the making of an awesome book boyfriend!
Everything about this book was 10/10 for me. From the almost missed first date all the way through to their, (making this reader smile and tear up at the same time), happily ever after. The chemistry, attraction, passion, the camaraderie and mutual respect Cort and Austen had for each other made this one of my favorite 2024 reads.
Austen and Cort are as perfect in real life as they are on paper. Even though Austen is not a fan of going on a blind date, her sister persuades her by calling in an owed favor. Good thing Cort really was her perfect book boyfriend, courteous, patient, and charming. Otherwise, the first date could have ended before it started.
There were so many coincidences that showed their compatibility. Even Austen had to stop and realize very early on that Cort really was her perfect match.
This was a nice, short HEA book that fit perfectly in the Boyfriend Book series.
It took me a while to warm up to Austen, she is a little abrupt, cold and impatient initially which makes her difficult to like. Thankfully Cort manages to talk her round, save the date and begin thawing her icy demeanor and her heart. Together they are a really sweet couple, both have a love of literature and the classics, they appreciate books and knowledge, challenging each other, laughing together and steaming up the stacks! I read this on Kindle Unlimited.
He was late, but so charming that she gave him another chance. He was so... So much and she wanted all of him. Ten. She was his perfect ten. And then he was reminded that he had met her before, she was poetic justice. He liked her from years before, but didn't realize it was her. But he was already too far gone. And he wasn't coming back from it. He was a fantasy come true. Loved it. Love the book boyfriends. And loved Cort. Sexy Cort.
Cort's sister in law signs him up and Austen's sister does the same for her. I really enjoyed reading Librarian. I thought the characters were lovable. One of my favorite parts is when he undressed her for the first time. Loved the scene in the library it was so romantic. I loved the story. And recommend you check out this series.
Good read. I enjoyed the romance between Cort and Austen. I liked how the author incorporated Jane Austen in the book…considering it’s titled Librarian…not too many people will get that but I did. I recommend this book. I started it around 11pm and finished it around 1230am. I was intrigued and couldn’t put it down.
Ms. Zheng treats us to a swoony daydream! Spoiler alert: when I read the table of contents I thought Austen was the guy and Cort was the gal, then I started reading and reoriented my perspective. What fun with their names! And, Cort is a Mr. Darcy without the angst but with all the swag! Sigh. Austen is so likable as well!
This was a beautiful and enjoyable story. I enjoyed a glimpse into Cort and Austen's story. Well written, great pacing, Lovely characters and easy to read. I will be looking at other works by this author. There was minor editing issues but it did not detract from the story..4.5 stars
Cort and Austen's story was so sweet. It's a relatable story of a woman who settled on love not being for her and along came the perfect man. Cort was ready to make her all his. Really great read. You will love this story.
What a beautiful story of two people bonding over literature that ties them to their names and characters in a story. Austen and Cort fit together like a bound book with a story worth keeping.
Cort was so sexy and sweet. I loved how into Austen he was. I love Austen gave him a chance. And since I love books and libraries this was the perfect back drop to their love story.
A beautiful read! It was nice to read about our hero not being so buff, a rich man with a love for classical books, slowly capturing the heroine by pampering her and acquiescing to her desire to READ!! 💚🦋
Great story. I loved the sisters' names. Cort and Austen were amazing and so in tune with each other. Despite it being a quick read, it provided glimpses of different stages of their lives. The passionate scenes didn’t disappoint. Highly recommend for break-time reading.
The couple is fun and steamy. A quick read that I highly enjoyed. Austin is looking for a special type what she gets is that and more. Austin should not judge a book by its cover. A hot steamy quick read. Another great edition to the Book Boyfriends Dating Agency.
This is a great read. Really cute in how family members set them up in a way. I also liked the lack of drama. Just interest straight away that morphed into love.
